Now that the whole mystery has been solved, it’s time to move on. The stage window will display the short description, the requirements, and the rewards. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.
After everything that happened, you will realize that you and Marie have become one. You’ll no longer be able to tell which dreams belong to you, and which ones are Marie’s. It’s understandable, given how much time you’ve spent as her.
Early in the morning, you will receive a word that the King wants to see you. You’ll quickly go to his study. Upon arriving, he will smile at you and show you an item he’s holding in his hand.
You’ll relax once you notice what it is. You will remember that the locks are his passion, and that’s a secret not many know about. Louis XVI will say that he spent three months crafting that object. He will be curious to know what you think about it. There are two options to respond with.
Praise himIf you decide to praise him, the King will be overjoyed and you will earn some Goodwill with him. He will smile at you gently and say that this is the first time you’ve complimented his handiwork.
You will smile back at him and say that you are very impressed by his crafting skills. Louis XVI will add that you are the only person who knows about his hobby and he will once again say how glad he is to hear words of praise from you.
Back to Previous ChoiceIf you hesitate to reply, you won’t really know what to say. The King will notice your hesitation, and his expression will change. He will say that he knows you don’t like his hobby, but he had hoped you might change your opinion about it.
You will gently say he misunderstood you and tell him that you were so stunned by the beauty of the lock you were completely at a loss for words. He will be shocked once you say that and he’ll ask if you really think so.
You’ll smile and nod while praising his crafting skills. Louis XVI will thank you for understanding and he’ll smile back at you.
Back to Previous ChoiceYou will notice the warmth and gentleness in his gaze. He will look at you with eyes full of love and caring, and he’ll call you the Angel from Austria. He’ll ask if there’s anything he can do to make you happy.
You’ll tell him that your only wish is for France to prosper and for everyone to live blissfully. Apparently, that’s exactly what the King wishes as well, and he already planned for something. He will suggest going to Notre-Dame to distribute provisions to the poor. That was the reason why he wanted to meet with you.
He’ll tell you that Blaisdell has already promised to handle the matter and hopefully, this can restore your reputation. He will ask you to get changed before you go.
For this occasion, you should wear clothes and accessories with Elegant and Gentle tags.
Upon arriving at the church, you will notice that a lot of people have gathered there already. The crowd will quiet down once they see you arrive. You will notice plenty of hungry people standing there, looking at the provisions you brought. There will also be a lot of poor children as well, looking at you with faces filled with despair.
You will tell your husband you are glad he suggested helping the poor, especially the children. Louis XVI will remind you that you also had an alms-giving session back when he first inherited the throne. He will remember the high expectations people had of him. Unfortunately, it seems that there are plenty of those who are in need of help.
