Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 7 of Dress up Time Princess. Previously, you were worried if the changes you’ve made resulted in people living better lives. After thinking about it for a while, Madam Deniau showed up, and you asked her about it. She advised you to go and see for yourself, which is exactly what you did. You went to the Parisian market, accompanied by one of your loyal knights, and you noticed that thanks to the tax reform, people are finally able to live better. The marketplace was pretty busy, and most of the people there seemed fairly happy. You realized this is all thanks to the reform, and all the hard work and effort you’ve put into it. Now it is time to complete the final phase of the reforms and change history for the better. The stage window will display the requirements, a short description, and the rewards. Hit Start once you’re ready to begin.
You will find yourself in the church, praying for a better future for the whole of France. You’ll feel extremely calm and at peace, knowing that your prayers have been answered and your hard work is finally paying off. The King will also say a few words of prayer.
After a while, when the long mass and prayers have ended, and everyone has left, you will still remain kneeling and looking up at the image of God. You will express your gratitude to God for being able to change your fate and accomplish your goal.
You’ll start remembering everything that has happened so far. Your first conflict with Madame Adelaide, the affair of the diamond necklace, almsgiving, the conference with the nobles, and everything else that led to this moment. You’ve met a lot of people. Some of them were good, some of them were bad, and many of them played a part in your journey to change fate.
Still, despite all the changes, you will still feel as if there’s something else you can do. You’ll be aware of the fact that you simply cannot make everyone happy, but you will hope that all the sacrifices made won’t go to waste.
Once again, you will ask the Lord to bless you and allow you to witness and also take part in the changes in France. You’ll remain there for a while longer, praying for a better future.
After some time, you will decide to head back to the palace. On your way back, you will hear the vendors yelling to advertise their wares, and plenty of people will walk around carrying bread and vegetables. Most of the people will look very cheerful and happy. You’ll recall Blaisdell saying that this season’s harvest has been plentiful, which is one of the reasons why people are living better.
You’ll start wondering if there’s anything else you could do for the people. Suddenly, you will hear a familiar voice from outside of the carriage. You’ll look around, but you won’t notice anyone. Shortly after, d’Eon will appear in front of you and startle you for a moment.
You’ll be curious to know how he got inside the moving carriage. He’ll smile at you, saying that only the dead are allowed to hear his secrets. He’ll ask if you are sure you wish to know them. You’ll think for a while before giving him an answer.
If you decide it’s better not to know, d’Eon will be surprised you gave up that easily. You will earn some Goodwill with him. He’ll gaze at you with a confused look for a while, and you will use the opportunity to ask him if he would willingly share his secrets with you.
His expression will instantly change, and you’ll spot a huge grin on his face. He’ll wink at you and tell you his secret. He was hiding on that roof of the carriage all along, which is why you couldn’t spot him. He’ll ask if you are satisfied with his secret.
Truth be told, you’ll be slightly disappointed knowing that his stunt was not as magical as you thought it would be. Shortly after, you will ask if the King gave him any instructions.
If you remain persistent in wanting to know his secret, you will clutch your chest with both hands, pretending you’re dying. d’Eon will stare at you in disbelief before starting to laugh out loud. He’ll laugh for a while before being able to calm down. This will earn you some Goodwill with him.
He’ll explain he hopped onto the roof and covered himself with a black cloth once you got onto the carriage. That is the reason why you couldn’t notice him. You’ll be impressed once you hear his explanation.
Moments later, you will be curious to know why he decided to look for you. You’ll ask if the King gave him instructions to seek you out.
He will explain that the King is worried about your safety, which is why he sent d’Eon to protect you on the way back to the palace. He’ll admit he was bored lately, which is why he decided to play a little joke on you. He’ll hope you won’t hold it against him.
You will smile saying all is fine before telling him you need his advice. You will ask if he thinks there is something else you can do for the people of France. d’Eon will say that you’ve already crafted a fairly comfortable bird cage, and soon enough, the birds of France will fly happily. You’ll look through the window and think about what he said.
Perhaps there’s some deeper meaning hidden behind his words? You will think for a while longer before spotting the fortress of Bastille outside. This will immediately spark your curiosity, and you’ll ask d’Eon about it.
He’ll smile and say he knows Bastille like the back of his hand. He’ll admit it’s not as grandiose as Versailles but is still the most comfortable prison in France. He’ll tell you there are only seven occupants there at the moment.
This will make you even more curious about the place. After a brief moment, you will ask if you can go there to take a look. d’Eon will try explaining it’s not a suitable place for a Queen, but you will remain very determined to go there.
d’Eon will try to convince you not to go, but his efforts will be in vain. You’ll just smile and say you are planning to go there one way or another. You will assume he could get you in there via some sort of secret passage.
Eventually, he will agree to take you there, but he’ll ask you to promise to work together with him. You’ll nod in agreement. d’Eon will suggest changing into clothes that won’t draw too much attention.
For this occasion, you should pick the clothes and accessories with Simple and Noble tags.

Once you’re done changing, d’Eon will take you to Bastille. You will notice that the place looks nothing like any common prison. It will look fairly clean and well-maintained, and you will have a hard time believing it is a prison.
d’Eon will be glad that your curiosity is sated and he’ll suggest heading back to the palace. You’ll notice that he’s getting quite anxious. Just before you get to ask him a question, you will spot someone in one of the cells.
The person behind the bars will smile and wave at you, calling you a beautiful angel. He’ll introduce himself as Sade, saying he waited all his life to meet someone as beautiful as you.
He’ll almost beg you to tell him your name. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to reveal who you are, so you will just smile at him and say that you cannot tell him your name.
Sade will turn to d’Eon, and all of the joy and excitement will suddenly fade away from his eyes. He’ll try throwing more compliments your way, and you will notice that d’Eon is getting increasingly nervous. Suddenly, he will ask for your permission to kill Sade.
You’ll be shocked by his request. d’Eon will explain that Sade is responsible for tainting countless men and women with his uncontrolled lust. The prisoner will start objecting once he hears d’Eon’s words.
Once again, d’Eon will try to convince you to let him take care of Sade. You’ll think for a while and tell him you can’t grant his request since the prisoner hasn’t done anything to warrant death. d’Eon will be slightly disappointed to hear that, but he will respect your decision.
In any case, he will suggest going elsewhere since you won’t let him kill Sade. You will nod in agreement. You’ll then take a good look at every prisoner and quickly realize they all long for freedom. You’ll ask d’Eon if there is really a need to keep all of them behind bars.
He’ll explain it’s up to you and the King to decide that. You will think for a while and consider the alternatives. Perhaps you could give those people a chance to do something good with their lives.
You will think some more before finally making up your mind. You’ll ask d’Eon to take you back to the palace to see the King. He will ask if you’ve already made a decision. You’ll nod, saying there is still something you can do for the people of France – tear down the Bastille.
This will conclude Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 7 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive the rewards for completing the stage.
