Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 15 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous stage, the King addressed the angry crowd of people in an attempt to end the public unrest. He told them that the royal court made the decision to embrace the ideas of liberalism and institute the constitutional monarchy. While this was enough to calm down some of the people, the others weren’t so easily convinced and they wanted to hear what the Queen has to say. You stepped forward and told them that you aren’t the perfect Queen they want. You pointed out that such a queen does not exist and you are simply trying your best for the sake of the people of France. Moments later, Lafayette arrived, leading the knights. He told everyone that the people accepted the royal court’s decision to institute the constitutional monarchy, which instantly made everyone cheer happily. Thankfully, you managed to avoid the disaster and prevent any further violence. Unfortunately, both you and the King had to move to the Tuileries Palace in Paris. Because of that, you had to leave most of the luxurious things behind, and only take the necessities with you. Now is the time to continue where you left off. The stage window will display the requirement, a short description, and the rewards. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.
After finishing all of the preparations and packing up, you will travel to the Tuileries Palace in Paris. Once you arrive, you will find the place in pretty terrible condition. After all, the Tuileries Palace hasn’t been occupied for hundreds of years.
The dust and the ruined furniture will be all over the place, and you will hardly believe it was once a grandiose palace. The King will suddenly start coughing from all of the dusty stale air. Fersen will notice it and suggest having someone clean up the place.
Louis XVI will tell him he’s all right. Shortly after, Lafayette will inform him that the Tuileries Palace cannot house all of the guards and servants, and he will ask the King how to handle the matter. After considering it for a moment, the King will come up with a solution.
He’ll also ask Lafayette to tell Blaisdell not to return since it would be too dangerous for him. Instead, he should help people establish a new system and laws. He will also let both Fersen and Lafayette decide what to do from now on.
Lafayette will apologize to the King for betraying him. He’ll thank him for being kind and forgiving, and he’ll promise to stay by his side. Louis XVI will point out that Lafayette was pretty much forced by the people into leading them, and he won’t hold it against him.
Still, both Lafayette and Fersen will be determined to uphold their vows and stay loyal to the King and the Queen. Fersen will smile cheekily and ask you to help him convince the King. There are two options to choose from.
If you choose to help Fersen, you will smile and say that the King cannot just drive him away, because there’s no telling if he would do the same with you and Marquis de Lafayette. Picking this option will grant you some Goodwill with Fersen and Lafayette.
The King will think for a while before saying he understands you completely. He will thank everyone for their loyalty, and he’ll be extremely glad to have you by his side.
If you choose to advise the King, you will tell him that there’s no point in asking Fersen and Lafayette to leave. Even if he does that, both of them will simply rebel and stay anyway. Selecting this option will grant you some Goodwill with Louis XVI.
The King will think for a while and eventually admit you are right. He will express his gratitude to both Lafayette and Fersen for staying by his side during these difficult times.
Not long after that, you will settle into Tuileries. Once the place is cleaned up, it will be suitable for living, but still not comparable to Versailles. The good side about it is getting the opportunity to live peacefully without many different things distracting you.
After spending some time in Tuileries, you will start getting accustomed to peaceful and quiet mornings. Still, it will be difficult to forget some parts of your previous lifestyle, such as not having nearly as many people around as before.
You will think about Gabrielle and wonder if she is doing all right. After all, it’s been quite a while since she and her family left for Switzerland. You’ll also be wondering about Madame Deniau. Ever since the people stormed into Versailles, she was nowhere to be seen.
You’ve heard various rumors about her disappearance. Some people said that she simply fled the palace, while others said she was killed by civilians. Even sending people to search for her body in the land near Versailles proved futile since there was no trace of her. You will silently pray for her wellbeing.
After spending some time in your room, the maid will arrive to inform you that there’s a guest waiting for you in the living room. The guest is none other than Count Marenzi, the French ambassador to Austria, and as it seems, he has something very important to talk to you about.
You will recall Marenzi being tasked by Queen Theresa to often visit France and check on you. However, there’s been some time since Queen Theresa passed away, which will make you wonder about this sudden visit.
In any case, you will decide to quickly change into an appropriate outfit. For this occasion, you should pick the clothes and accessories with Formal and Gentle tags. Austrian Flower dress is required here.
While looking at the mirror, you will recall your childhood and many joyful moments you had in Austria. You will feel slightly homesick and sad that you can’t go back there.
Shortly after, you will politely greet Count Marenzi. He will seem much older than you remember. After all, it’s been quite some time since you last saw him. He’ll take a good look at you and ask if you really are Marie Antoinette.
Count Marenzi will be overjoyed to finally see you again. He’ll say that he still feels dutybound to Queen Theresa to look after you. Also, he will admit he regrets not coming to you as soon as the negative rumors about you started spreading.
You will notice him getting visibly upset about it, so you will try your best to calm him down. You will say it wasn’t his fault and there was little he could’ve done to help the situation, especially since he’s an Austrian minister.
Count Marenzi will realize that you’re not the same little girl that left Austria many years ago. He will comment on how much you’ve changed, and he’ll wonder what would’ve happened had you not been married to France.
You’ll point out it’s impossible to change the past. Marenzi will nod and say there might be something that can be done to fix things. Suddenly, you will figure out the words of his next sentence even before he says it.
You will ask Count Marenzi if he’s out of his mind. He will be surprised by your response and curiously ask if you want to go back home. You will look at him and say with a voice full of determination that your home is in France.
Besides, suddenly leaving the country would send a very wrong message to the people of France. You would more than likely be branded as a traitor and needless to say, others would suffer the consequences of your actions.
You will tell Marenzi that you understand his worries, but you simply cannot do something so reckless. Such an act would probably result in another public unrest, and you definitely don’t want that to happen.
Despite all your efforts to dissuade him, Count Marenzi will remain persistent in his intent to get you back to Austria. He will say that your current situation is pretty much the calm before the storm, and he doesn’t want you to be caught in the middle of it.
You will say that you understand him, especially with some of the recent events. The people have established a National Assembly, and Blaisdell is working hard to set up a constitutional monarchy. Still, there are others who want to set up a republic. You will dread the thought of what might happen if the people decide to abandon the constitutional monarchy.
Count Marenzi will kindly try to explain it is too dangerous for you to stay in France at the moment. He’ll say that all of the people dear to you would hate to see anything bad happen.
Still, getting you back to Austria will likely also be very dangerous, and you won’t allow Count Marenzi to do anything reckless just to keep you safe. However, he will proudly say he wouldn’t mind putting his life on the line if that’s what it takes to ensure your safety.

He’ll also point out that he won’t be alive for much longer, which is another reason he wants to see this through. You will think for a while before giving him an answer.
If you try to think of another solution, you’ll tell Count Marenzi you want to find a solution that won’t involve sacrificing him. He’ll say that you need not worry about that.
He’ll also tell you that he only needs to contact the Emperor of Austria, Leopold II, and to put the plan into action. You will be surprised that your brother is willing to risk so much to get you to safety. After all, if something goes wrong, the war might start between France and Austria.
Count Marenzi will inform you that the rulers of all the neighbor countries of France are worried about the wave of liberalism spreading, and they are all trying to stop it. In other words, even if you stay in France, there is a high possibility that the war is inevitable.
In other words, everyone is just waiting for a reason to start a war. Marenzi will try to convince you that leaving France is currently the best option for both you and the King.
Still, you will start wondering if that would be the best thing to do. While Leopold II is probably concerned for you, this would give him a perfect opportunity to start a war. Needless to say, the whole situation is much more complicated than you initially thought.
After thinking for a while, you will still be unsure of what to do. On one hand, escaping with the King would ensure your safety, but you would abandon everyone else, and the people of France would see you as traitor. On the other hand, staying in France would be incredibly dangerous, given the recent turn of events. In the end, you will ask Count Marenzi to give you some time to think about it.
If you try rejecting Count Marenzi, you will try telling him you wish to stay in France, but before the words come out of your mouth, he will gently smile at you and kindly ask you to agree to his proposition.
He will ask you to think things through before rejecting him outright. After all, you should consider everything before giving him a definitive answer. You’ll nod and agree to give it some thought.
Count Marenzi will tell you that he’ll be back in 5 days to hear your answer. He will hope that you will see his reasoning and agree with his proposition. Moments later, he will leave the palace, and you will start thinking about everything, knowing that you’ll have to come up with a decision very soon.
Shortly after, Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 15 of Dress up Time Princess will conclude. You will receive the rewards for completing the stage.
