Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 18
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 18 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous stage, you were visited by Count Marenzi, who arrived to inform you that your courier succeeded at his mission. Furthermore, he convinced Leopold II to let the King and you seek political asylum in another country, instead of going to Austria. Your brother even agreed to have some of his troops escort you there. And most importantly, he agreed not to send his troops to France for the time being. This means that the casualties will be minimal, which is exactly what you’ve hoped for. Lastly, Count Marenzi told you that both the King and you should be leaving the country as soon as the night falls. You prepared as quickly as you could, and left the palace during the night. Now is the time to continue where you left off. The stage window will display the requirements, a short description, and the rewards. Hit Start once you’re ready to begin.
Your carriage will travel for almost the whole night. You will feel exhausted since you won’t really get much rest during the travel. You’ll hope that you will be able to reach the destination soon enough. According to the King, it will likely take another four days to get there.
This means that you are traveling much slower than you initially planned. You will pull up the curtain to take a look outside, and you’ll instantly notice that the weather seems fine. Upon taking another look, you will see that Paris is not that far away from your current location. You will ask the guard to explain why the carriage is moving so slow.
For a brief moment, the guard will hesitate to answer your question. You will change the tone of your voice and say that you won’t blame him if something happened.
After a few moments, the guard will say he’s sorry. He will tell you that he needs to send you back to Paris and inform the people that you’re trying to escape the country. The King and you will look at each other and you will be shocked by this turn of events.
You will ask the guards if someone bribed them, or is there some other reason why they want to return you to Paris. The guard will simply say that they want to do it for the sake of Marquis de Lafayette and Count Fersen. He’ll add that they don’t want to see those two people get killed because of your actions.
You will notice a lot of admiration for Lafayette and Fersen in the guard’s voice. Once again, he will say he is sorry, but there’s nothing that you can do to change his mind.
The King will point out that they were on the battlefield with Lafayette and Fersen, which is why they hold them in such high regard. Because of this, they don’t want anything bad to happen to either of them. Louis XVI will take another look at the guards and tell them to do what they must.
You will notice that the King looks as if all of his hope has withered away. He will calmly sit down and accept whatever fate awaits him. Neither of you will resist the guards as the carriage turns around and starts moving back towards Paris.
After a while, you will arrive back in Paris, and the carriage will stop in the middle of the street. One of the guards will open the door and ask you to step out. He’ll then turn towards the people and inform them of your plan to escape the country.
He will say that Marquis de Lafayette and Count Fersen found out about your plan to escape, and thanks to them, the guards managed to prevent the King and you from escaping France.
Soon enough, everyone will set their eyes on you. It won’t be long until the people start yelling at the King and you. Suffice to say, the situation will quickly escalate, and the crowd of angry people will rush towards you. For a moment, you will see this as the end.
However, the guards will manage to block the angry mob, and safely escort you to prison. Unfortunately, you won’t spend too much time there since the people decided to have both you and the King executed very soon.
You will curl up in a corner of your cell, close your eyes, and wonder if you’ve reached the end of the road. After a while, you will hear some scratchy sounds. You will see that the King is trying to unlock the cell door with a hairpin. You will remember his passion for locks and notice him being intensely focused on the task.
After a few moments, you will hear the clicking sound, and the King will turn to you and excitedly say he did it. By the looks of it, he isn’t ready to give up just yet, which is why he wanted to try and pick the lock so that both of you can escape the dungeons.
He will point out that Lafayette and Fersen are more than likely regarded as heroes by the people now, which is probably why they are unable to help you in any way. That was another reason why he wanted to take matters into his own hands and unlock the cell.
Louis XVI will point out that escaping the dungeons might prove very difficult, and even if you succeed, your lives will never be the same. You will think for a while and realize that the people are most likely furious at your attempt to escape the country. Because of that, you will have to do whatever it takes to survive, but even then, it is better than staying in the cell and condemning yourself to death.
The King will slowly open the cell door, and motion for you to follow him. After walking through the passageway, you won’t be able to see any of the guards nearby. You will wonder why they didn’t place anyone to watch after the two of you.
The King will point out that they probably thought the two of you are incapable of escaping the dungeons, so they didn’t even bother posting any guards around. This is more than likely the reason why the dungeons were empty.
Needless to say, you will be glad that there aren’t any guards around, and you definitely won’t want to miss the opportunity to escape. After walking for a while, you will notice a fork in the passageway. Everything will be dark, and you will be unsure about which route to take. You will also be able to hear some voices in the distance.
The King will tell you he hears more voices coming from the left passage, so he will suggest taking the right one. Suddenly, you will notice a cat wandering around. It will take a look at the two of you, and meow once before heading into the left passage.
Somehow, you will get the gut feeling you’re supposed to be following the cat. You will ask the King if you should perhaps go into the left passageway. He will point out you should take the path that has less risk of running into guards. Still, you will tell him you believe that animals have the instinct to avoid danger, which is why you suggested taking the left passageway.
After taking a moment to consider things, Louis XVI will nod and agree with you to follow the cat. You’ll follow it into several forks, but luckily, you won’t encounter any of the guards. Suddenly, you will hear a strange sound not too far away. The King will recognize the sound of fighting and he will assume that someone is dealing with the guards.

Prepare to fightIf you choose to fight, you will look around before picking a wooden stick to defend yourself. Suddenly, a familiar figure will appear in front of you. It will be none other than d’Eon, and you will barely manage to avoid hitting him with a stick.
He will smile at you and say it wasn’t easy infiltrating the dungeon to rescue the King and you. He will tell you that he didn’t really expect you to attack him with a wooden stick as a sign of appreciation.
You will sigh in relief after listening to his witty remark. You will smile back at d’Eon and tell him you are extremely glad to see him. After all, you could definitely use his help to escape.
Back to Previous ChoiceIf you choose to observe quietly, you will spot a shadowy figure moving silently towards you. Moments later, d’Eon will appear, and he’ll respectfully greet both of you. He will be glad to see that you decided to escape the dungeons.

Back to Previous Choiced’Eon will say that he shall forever stay loyal to the Capetian dynasty. He’ll add it wasn’t easy to infiltrate the dungeon, but thankfully, the knights aided him. You will want to ask him a question about Fersen and Lafayette, but d’Eon will interrupt you mid-sentence and say that you should focus on escaping the dungeons.
You will then get to change your outfit to avoid being recognized. This time, you should pick the clothes and accessories with Simple and Noble tags. Keep in mind that Gendarme Uniform is required here.
The King and you will follow d’Eon, and after a while, you will exit through the front door. Despite feeling incredibly nervous, you won’t encounter any guard along the way. You will wonder if d’Eon had anything to do with that.
He will smile and say that he pulled one of his tricks. Apparently, he distracted the guards and they went chasing after a “King and Queen”, which is the reason why there weren’t any guards along the way.
Moments later, he will lead you through a secluded alleyway, where you’ll notice an ordinary-looking carriage. The King will be curious to know where you’re headed, but d’Eon will simply smile and ask both of you to trust him.
