Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 20
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 20 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous stage, you learned that Fersen was the one to send d’Eon to rescue the King and you from the dungeons. He decided to stay by your side and keep his promise despite everything. He took the King and you back to Versailles since that was the safest place for you to lay low. While you were there, the King made the decision to proceed with Fersen’s original plan and seek political asylum in Sweden. Unfortunately, given the recent turn of events, Sweden won’t be able to send anyone to escort you, so you will have to travel there on your own. The King decided to go there as soon as possible, so now is the time to do some final preparations and leave France. The Stage window will display all of the relevant information. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.
Once you’re done preparing for the journey to Sweden, you will sit quietly in your room and wait for the others to finish their preparations. The palace will be a mere shadow of its former self, and silence and gloom will fill its halls.
You will think about your current situation. It will seem that only yesterday, you were the Queen of France, and everything was great. And now, as soon as you leave the country, you will leave behind the luxurious life you’ve been leading previously. This will make you feel as if the huge burden has been lifted off your shoulders, and you will feel happy about it.
Suddenly, you will hear someone at the door. You will wonder who is looking for you this late. Upon opening the door, you won’t be able to see anyone, but after looking around for a while, you will spot a sealed letter on the floor. You will quickly open it and realize it was Fersen who wrote it. As it seems, he wants you to meet him in the garden soon.
You will be curious to know why Fersen wants to see you. You’ll carefully examine the letter to make sure that it’s in his handwriting. Shortly after, you will decide to dress up and head out to meet him. For this occasion, you should select clothes and accessories with Formal and Warm tags.
Once you’re done dressing up, you will rush to the gardens to meet Fersen. You will find him standing at the meeting spot. After greeting you, he’ll thank you for coming to meet with him. He will quickly get to the point and inform you that there’s been a change in plans.
You will notice a carriage waiting in the distance. You nod at him and ask if the King and d’Eon are inside the carriage already. Fersen will hesitate to answer your question. You will quickly realize that something is wrong, and you will ask him to tell you what’s going on.
He will look at you and say it’s just the two of you who will be going. You will be surprised by his response. Fersen will change his expression, and he will look much more serious than usual. He’ll tell you he doesn’t want to deceive you in any way, and he will agree to tell you everything if you can promise to stick to the plan and escape the country with him.
You will instantly know that something is wrong, and you will consider countless different scenarios that could’ve played out. You will ask Fersen not to force you to promise anything since you won’t really know if you will still want to leave the country if something horrible happened.
He will say that neither of you has much of a choice in the matter. You will look at him and think for a while before deciding what to do. There are two options for you to choose from.
AgreeIf you choose to agree, you will take a deep breath and realize there is not much you can do about it. You will look at Fersen and promise to leave the country with him. Picking this option will grant you some Goodwill with him.
Back to Previous ChoiceIf you choose to reconsider things first, you’ll look at Fersen and say there’s no time to waste. He will apologize for asking you to make a promise, and you will notice the troubled look on his beautiful face. Picking this option will gain you some Goodwill with Fersen.
Both of you will look at each other for a while until you finally decide to break the silence and make one of the most difficult decisions of your life. You will look Fersen in the eyes and promise to leave the country with him.
Back to Previous ChoiceUpon hearing your words, he will let out a sigh of relief and smile at you. He will then tell you that d’Eon already left Versailles to deliver the King’s letters to Blaisdell and Lafayette. In these letters, the King asked them to abandon any rescue plans they had and spread rumors about going after a wanted person.
The person in question is you. However, they won’t really be going after you. Instead, they will chase the woman who impersonated you some time ago. As it seems, they plan to turn in that woman to the people in order to save you from getting caught. While you will realize that this might be your only chance to escape the country, you will be strongly against sacrificing another person just to save your own skin.
Fersen will point out that she looks very similar to you… too similar, in fact. Because of this, even if they don’t choose to sacrifice her, someone could easily mistake her for you, which would pretty much result in the same outcome. This way, at least her sacrifice won’t be in vain.
Fersen will admit that this woman hasn’t done anything wrong, but the people won’t care about it. As soon as someone sees the resemblance, she’ll probably end up being captured by the people. The immense pain and sadness will fill your heart, and you will not be able to hide your emotions.
You will notice that Fersen is very upset to see you so sad, and he will try to say something to make you feel better. Unfortunately, the cruel reality is something you will have to face, and there is little that can be done about it.
He’ll point out that once you start your journey to Sweden, you will be in more danger than ever. You will somehow collect yourself and tell him you understand. You will realize you have to be strong and determined, and you will ask Fersen to tell you more about the plan to leave the country.
You will assume that he and the King already planned everything while they had a private discussion. Fersen will nod and say that Louis XVI decided to stay in Versailles, while the two of you are to travel to Sweden.
He will inform you that the situation is getting grimmer every day, and the revolutionaries are winning the people over. Marquis de Lafayette is forced to stay by their side and there is little he can do about it. Thankfully, Sweden has allied with Austria, and they are willing to offer you political asylum. Unfortunately, it is uncertain if they will be able to do the same for the King.
You will also ask him if there is any chance to receive any help from Austria. Unfortunately, that will no longer be the case, and Fersen will point out the sad reality you’ll have to deal with.
Also, they decided to have d’Eon protect the King while Fersen escorts you to Sweden. You will ask if there is any chance for you to stay, but sadly, that would lead to a very grim outcome for everyone. Fersen will try his best to encourage you to persevere.
He will grab your shoulders and say each word very slowly, with a lot of tension in his voice. He will point out that you need to stay alive if the royal family is to survive. That is also what the King wishes, which is why they changed the plan.
You will hesitate to answer him, and Fersen will tell you to pretend he is forcing you to come with him if you are so unsure about leaving the country. You will notice a lot of pain in his voice. He is probably suffering as much as you are, but regardless of that, he wants to prioritize your safety.
After thinking for a while, you will gather up the strength and agree to go with him. You will understand that the King had to make a difficult decision, and he wanted to make sure that you survive, no matter what. Fersen will be glad to hear that you are agreeing to go with him. He will kindly smile at you, and shortly after, you will leave the palace.
As soon as you leave Paris, the carriage will speed up, and you will start traveling much faster than last time. Thanks to d’Eon’s assistance, you will easily be able to leave the city since the people will be too distracted to notice your carriage.
The heavy rain will help mask your tracks, but it will also slightly hinder your progress. Fersen will be very quiet, and you will notice that he is immensely focused on getting you out of the country.
Shortly after, he will notice someone approaching you. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to say who it is, but he will prepare to do whatever’s necessary to keep you safe from any harm.
Fersen will make the horses go even faster, and the carriage will start shaking. Unfortunately, the sounds of neighing will get closer, and you will realize that whoever is pursuing you is getting catching up on you.
Once he realizes that they are too close, Fersen will take out one of his guns and hand it to you. He will quickly instruct you how to use it, and he’ll ask you not to hesitate to defend yourself. You will nod and take the gun.
Moments later, Fersen will stop the carriage and jump off. You will move the curtain and silently look through the window to see what’s happening.
You will spot a lot of riders approaching the carriage. Once they get close enough, you will instantly recognize their leader. It will be none other than Marquis de Lafayette. He will face Fersen with a gun in his hand, blaming him for betraying France.
Fersen will be surprised to see his war-buddy. He will want to know why Lafayette is chasing after you. The stern Marquis will simply say he’s doing it for the people and for the future of the country.
He will tell Fersen that he is considered an enemy of France. He will then ask Fersen if he really thought he can fool “everyone” and escape the country. He will emphasize the word “everyone”, so you will instantly realize he is trying to tell him something.
He will then point out to Fersen he isn’t there “on his own” which will indicate there is little he can do to help the two of you. You’ll take a look at the people behind him, and you will see some of the soldiers as well as some other people wearing different uniforms.
You will quickly realize that the people behind Lafayette are revolutionaries he was forced to lead. Fersen will laugh at his battle comrade and he’ll call him a slave of the rebels.
Both of them will point guns at one another, and Lafayette will remind Fersen that the people are the true owners of a country. He’ll also tell him to stay true to his oath of loyalty to France. As for Fersen, he will be annoyed by these words, and he will mock his friend for pointing a gun at him.
After a brief silence, Lafayette will move towards and say that the Queen has no right to leave the country. Fersen will boldly reply that he doesn’t have the right to stop the two of you. He will raise his gun and aim it at Lafayette.
Eventually, Fersen’s back will be pressed up against the carriage door. Lafayette will use the opportunity to speak to him in a low voice and tell him that he’ll let the two of you go soon.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to hear much of their conversation, but you will manage to hear Fersen thanking his war buddy. Lafayette will apologize, and ask him to take care of the King and Queen.
Fersen will inform him that the King is still in Versailles, protected by d’Eon. He’ll ask him to try his best to keep the rebels away from that area. Lafayette will glance in your direction, and notice you sitting in the carriage.
You will see a surge of emotions in his eyes, and realize he is greatly suffering by being forced to do things against his will. He will nod at Fersen and tell him he will keep his promise this time before asking him to take care of you.
Moments later, he will retreat backward, and suddenly, you will hear a loud sound as Fersen presses the trigger of his gun. Lafayette will look in disbelief as the blood starts dripping from the hand of his old comrade.
Fersen will smile and say that he cannot leave without a scratch, lest Lafayette would get in trouble. He’ll ask the Marquis to take care of himself, value his life, and protect the people.
Suddenly, Fersen will roar and yell at Lafayette for “shooting him”. He will loudly say he is Swedish and he’ll refuse to die in France. Shortly after, he will head towards the carriage, but just as he was about to get onto it, you will notice the crowd of people rushing your way.
Moments later, you will hear another gunshot and notice Lafayette kneeling and holding his left shoulder with his right hand. All of the people will suddenly gather around him instead of attacking you.
Lafayette will tell them he shot Fersen in the stomach, which is why there’s no need to go after him. He’ll point out that their top priority should be capturing the King and Queen, which should be easy with Fersen out of the way. The people will nod their heads and hurry up to tend to his wounds.
Once you enter the carriage, Fersen will grab the reins with one hand and you’ll quickly leave. After a while, you will sigh in relief upon realizing that no one is pursuing you. Unfortunately, Fersen’s wound will be very deep and serious, which will make you worried. You will ask him to find a place to rest so that you can tend to his wound.
Fersen will be against it as he will feel as if he is dragging you down. You will gaze at him with a worried look, and he will ask if you are scarred. There are two options to reply with. This choice will HEAVILY influence the rest of the stage.
I want to be with you, alwaysIf you tell Fersen that you want to be with him always, he will smile at you and say that he won’t die easily. He will also joke about coming back as a ghost to haunt Lafayette should he succumb to his wounds.
This will make you feel less tense about the whole situation, and you will somehow manage to calm down. You’ll smile back at the gorgeous Count and thank him for being there for you.
A few days later, you will finally arrive in Sweden. Despite traveling so long, you won’t have any trouble reaching Fersen’s homeland, and both of you will be glad that you managed to escape France and safely arrive at your destination.
You will now get the chance to get a fresh start and put everything bad that happened behind you. Fersen will tell you that the people in Sweden are very kind and down-to-earth, and the life itself is vastly different from the one you had in France and Austria.
You will be concerned about the people recognizing you, but Fersen will tell you not to worry about that. He will say that the King arranged for you to live in a secluded village in the north where the people know very little of the outside world.
You will be able to pass as an unfortunate person who has lost all her family members in an accident, and no one would question it. You will ask Fersen if this means that you would have to stay in the village alone.
He will look down and say that he will have to leave you for some time after you settle in. You will realize this has something to do with the condition Sweden set in exchange for providing the political asylum.
While you will feel sad about not being able to have Fersen by your side, you will be happy since he will get the chance to do something for his country and prove himself by utilizing his talents.
He will apologize to you for having to leave soon, but that’s the only way he can guarantee your safety. You will try your best to suppress the loneliness and sorrow. You’ll smile at Fersen and tell him you understand and support him.
You will point out that he is finally getting recognized for all of the hard work he’s done in America and in France, and there is absolutely no reason for you to blame him. After all, if not for him, who knows what might’ve happened to you.
Fersen will smile at you and say that the future should be bright for both of you. You’ll nod and say that you’ll finally get the chance to live happily. After everything bad that happened, you definitely deserve to live normal lives for a change.
Shortly after, you will hear the sounds of horses neighing. Fersen will stop the carriage and get down to check things out. Before long, he’ll return and say that the King sent his envoys to welcome you to Sweden. After all this time, you are finally safe.
The envoys will tell you pretty much the same things Fersen already did. They will arrange for you to live in a small house in one of the northern villages. Every week, you will receive food and other necessities. It will be very different from the life of luxury you’ve been leading before, but it will be calm and peaceful, so you will be able to relax and enjoy some simple things life has to offer.
Once you get accustomed to your new life, Fersen will leave to fulfill his promise to the King of Sweden and travel to other countries. Unfortunately, he will be very busy because of that and he will not be able to visit you as much as you’d want to. After a few months, he will return to deliver some good news to you.
You’ll ask him about the King and Lafayette. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to tell you much about them. He will, however, say that the revolutionaries tried to locate Louis XVI, but they were unable to. They even tried to force Lafayette to tell them where the King is, but he didn’t do it.
You will smile at him and say since there’s no news about the King, it probably means that d’Eon managed to get him to safety, which is good news in itself. Fersen will nod and agree with you on that.
As for Marquis de Lafayette, he managed to escape the revolutionaries with some of his men. Rumors are that he was last seen at Port Marseille. You will quickly realize that he probably left for America, which means he’s off to a fresh start.
In any case, you will be glad that there is no news about the King or Lafayette, which is the best news you could hope for. Still, you will worry about them, and you will ask Fersen if he would want to visit the church with you.
He will gladly agree, and both of you will go there. You will pray to God that you will be able to change your fate and you’ll also pray for the wellbeing and happiness of the King, Lafayette, Blaisdell, and everyone else you know.
While praying, you will take a look at Fersen. He’ll look back at you and give you a gentle smile. At that moment, you will hope that he also achieves peace and joy and live happily from now on. After praying for a while, Fersen will tell you he was thinking about you when your eyes met his.
You’ll be curious to know what he prayed for. He will look at you with his gorgeous blue eyes and before answering your question, you will know that you are his one and only.
This will lead to one of the endings of Queen Marie story. You will receive the achievement for obtaining this ending.

If you tell Fersen you are scared of being alone, he will simply say that he would not regret giving his life in exchange for your safety. Still, you will admit that you wouldn’t be able to bear losing him.
Fersen will tell you he would like nothing more than to stay by his side. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to make any promises, so you will have to rely on fate to keep you together.
After several days of traveling, you will finally get close to Sweden. Fersen will point out that you just need to meet up with the people from his country, who will escort you to safety.
The long travel will take its toll on both of you, especially Fersen whose wound hasn’t been treated properly ever since you left Paris. He will look very pale and exhausted, and you’ll realize that his injury is very serious. You will ask him to find a place where he can rest and have his wound treated.
Unfortunately, he won’t be willing to rest until he escorts you to safety. You will regret not knowing how to drive a carriage, and you will feel helpless to do anything to make things better.
Fersen will notice the worried look on your face, and he will decide to let you help him. He’ll ask you to tie a tourniquet on his arm and loosen it after a while. You will nod and quickly do as he said. This will have some effect, and you will notice him sigh in relief.
You will smile at him and say you are glad to be able to help. Fersen will look at you and smile gently. He’ll say that you will be able to live freely as soon as you get to Sweden. He will then go on to describe his home country to you in great detail.
After listening to him, you will recall all of the people you were forced to leave behind. Fersen will understand what you mean by that, and you’ll notice a sad look on his beautiful face.
After a short while, he will stop the carriage. You will notice a group of soldiers waiting for you, holding the Swedish flag. You will be extremely relieved to see them. Hopefully, they will be able to treat Fersen’s injury and help him recover.
The soldiers will quickly offer to escort both of you to Stockholm. You will immediately ask them to look at Fersen’s wound. One of the soldiers will nod and remove the bandage. He will instantly notice that the wound is infected, and upon touching Fersen’s forehead, he will figure out that he has a fever.
Fersen will tell him that standing in the rain after getting shot only made things worse, and despite cleaning the wound, he couldn’t make the infection go away. You will realize that he’s been hiding this from you the whole time you were traveling.
He will simply say he had to do whatever’s necessary to get you to Sweden safely. You’ll ask the soldiers if there’s anything they can do to help Fersen. They’ll say they can escort you to the nearest town and look for a doctor to treat his injury.
They’ll also say that Fersen is in no condition to be treated on the spot. He will tell you to forget about him and just go. Upon taking a look at him, you will see that he’s in horrible condition.
You will nod your head and agree to go to the nearest settlement as soon as possible. While traveling, Fersen’s condition will worsen. He will tightly hold your hand and mutter some unintelligible words. You will squeeze back his hand and hope for the best.
After a few days of traveling, you will finally reach civilization. You’ll quickly tell Fersen you’ve arrived at your destination. He will look around and ask if you’ve reached his homeland. You’ll nod and confirm that you’re in Sweden. He will smile at you and say that he can finally get some rest.
Suddenly, he will let go of you, and his hands will fall to the side. You will notice that he is no longer moving, and you’ll try calling his name. Sadly, you won’t get any reply, and his gorgeous blue eyes will close forever.
With Fersen gone, Sweden will politely refuse to grant you political asylum. Before long, they will send you back to France, and the history will repeat itself as you will be unable to do anything to change it. With everyone you care about gone, you will wonder if the execution block is the fitting fate for you.
