New Year has arrived, and no, not Year 7 of our Hogwarts Studies, but the one outside of Wizarding World. And the first event we got in Hogwarts Mystery in this year is Full Marks. However, unlike most of the previous ones, which rewarded us some clothing items, this one has quite a unique reward – the entire dorm decoration set.
This might be appealing to some of the players, but to some others… not as much. Nevertheless, there are other interesting rewards players can earn during this event. If you end up in the top 3 spots, you will earn 3 gold notebooks. Top 6 will grant you 4 blue notebooks, while ending up in the top 12 will reward you 7 red notebooks. Lastly, there is 500 coins reward for everyone who participates in the event.
Full Marks Events is likely the best way to earn notebooks, especially gold ones. However, in order to rank in the top 3 spots, you need to actively participate in the event while it lasts. You can find more information about it in our Full Marks Event guide for Hogwarts Mystery. There is also another nice way to ensure you land in top spots and earn most of the rewards. If you and some other players get tied for the same spot, you will all earn the same rewards, regardless of the number of players being tied. For instance, if five players all have 3000 points by the end of Full Marks event, and are all tied to first place, they will ALL earn first place rewards. Because of this, it’s often beneficial to try and communicate with the rest of the community and try to get a tie at the end of the event. Precisely for this reason, some members of the Hogwarts Mystery community created subreddit exactly for that purpose. It is called HPHMGroupFinder, and there you can look for the players who are competing with you in order to communicate with them and earn a tie. This way, you won’t need to stress about the event too much, and you will end up earning way better rewards, so you might want to check it out.
It’s also worth noting that this event lasts a bit less than 7 days, and ends up on Thursday, 9th January at 12 pm PDT (8 pm CET).
