Ever since it got released nearly two years ago, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has been growing in popularity with each passing month. There are numerous reasons for this, but perhaps the biggest one is allowing players to immerse themselves in the Wizarding World and experience their own Hogwarts story. Another one is that the game is receiving updates on a weekly basis, meaning that each week players get a new chapter of the main story or a new side quest/adventure.
Hogwarts Mystery was recently updated, and this latest update introduced a new feature – Dorm customization. This allows you to customize some of the furniture of your dormitory and tailor it to your liking. You can access this feature directly in the wardrobe menu (you will see a new icon appear when you enter the wardrobe).
Once there, you will get to select which part of your dorm you want to change. You have several different options to choose from. You can change the carpet, drawer, shelf, bed, etc. There are different options to choose from for each of these. You can obtain some of these using gems or coins. Doing so will also grant you points in one of the attributes, which is quite nice.
Other than that, the snapshot mode is now available anywhere within the castle. You can use it by tapping on the camera icon located on the bottom right part of the screen. This will hide the UI elements of the game, and you’ll be able to take nice screenshots and share them with your friends. This option is also available in your dormitory, so you can take screens of all the furniture you obtain.
When you factor in this and the addition of daily rewards that were recently implemented, it’s easy to notice that the developers are doing their best to listen to the community, and improve their game in order to make Hogwarts life more magical and enjoyable for everyone.
