Magic Lamp Stage 1-4
Complete Walkthrough
Hello and welcome to our Dress up! Magic Lamp stage 1-4 walkthrough. In this full guide, we will go through the entire story for this stage and include all the gameplay elements, including the outfit we used and how to obtain all the individual clothing items. This story is based on the, of course, familiar Aladin storyline and it is adapted for the game.
It is well-known, but with a twist, adapted to the game, so here the female character is the main one, and other characters are a bit different, albeit quite recognizable to all who know the original story. So far, we’ve met a couple of characters, including Gina, who is the main protagonist and the body Alison currently resides in.
We’ve also met Kahir, a noble who is helping Gina, and Samar, a little girl that knew Gina from before. We’ve met some slavers and, finally, we’ve met Sinbad, the refugees’ great benefactor. Sinbad was introduced in the previous stage when Gina arrived at his mansion and got settled in there.
Towards the end of the previous stage, Gina came across a strange object. A stray cat came into her room and delivered a strange orb. Gina thought it was strange for a second, but then dismissed it and lied down to rest, wishing that all the refugees find their home. Well, perhaps her wish will be something more than just a fantasy. We will find out in this Magic Lamp stage 1-4.
Magic Lamp stage 1-4 awards a blueprint: Reverie Stroll, which is a fine pair of sandals that will be used later on, so it is very important to nail that perfect score. To do this, it is highly recommended that you get all the suggested items for this stage, which include the Sandy Challenge cap, the Desert Adventure dress, and the Mysterious Treasure earrings.
The blueprints for these items are obtained from the previous stages, except for the earrings, which are obtained from Encounters with Artist and are commonly used in crafting other items throughout the story. Now that we have all we need, let’s see if Gina’s wish will come true…
A few days have passed at the time we join in the story again. Gina has spent them working for Sinbad in the warehouse management position, with her helping out in the shop during peak hours. It would appear it is busy work indeed, but it is fulfilling for her.
While she works, Gina also noticed that new shops are being built outside the North Gate and that there is no news of the missing refugees. The storm seems to have subsided, as it would appear at least. But, she cannot be sure. Later on, there is a social event in Sinbad’s mansion…
The invitees are various navigators and adventurers from all over and there are a lot of guests. The maids in the mansion are having trouble keeping up with the work, so Gina also jumped in to help out. After a busy morning, she finally has some time to bring food back to her room and eat.
However, when Gina is back, she finds that the cat that was there every day, since she came in through the window, is missing. She is worried about where the little rascal went. Gina thinks the cat perhaps went to the banquet hall towards the smell of food. Wherever she is, Gina wants to find the cat quickly…
A little later, Gina meets Sinbad while she’s searching for the cat. Sinbad asks what she’s doing and she tells him about her missing pet. She explains that the cat has been living in her room for the past few days.
Sinbad presumes that the cat is just looking for food somewhere and he is sure it’ll return on its own later. He reminds Gina that the guests are arriving and that she should get ready. Gina realizes that in her panic for the missing cat she forgot to bring her waitress uniform she is supposed to wear for the banquet.
She is still worried about the cat but she must go to work right now, and we come to Magic Lamp stage 1-4 dress uptime. The style requirements for this stage 1-4 are Simple and Noble, so we will filter these out and wear the items that we’ve prepared for this stage for it is important to nail that perfect score.
For our first head slot, we take the Dawn Oracle crown from the Heaven’s Sigh set, which is obtained by activating Season 4 Fashion Booster and reaching a specific level. It is a very powerful item, not fit for this opportunity where Gina has to be a waitress, but never the less we shall wear it to increase our score. It has 6 stars and will give us 855 to Noble.
As far as the hairdo goes, this stage’s suggested Sandy Challenge will do nicely. It matches both the style requirements and with its 3 stars it will give us 347 to both Simple and Noble. The blueprint for this is obtained from Magic Lamp stage 1-1.
There are no specific requirements for the facial gear, so we shall use the best we got and the Cateye Shades will do nicely. They are at 6 stars and will contribute us with 741 to Simple. The item is obtained randomly from a magical gift.
We shall use the suggested dress as well, the one we crafted for this stage, and that is the Desert Adventure. It fits both requirements and with 3 stars it will give us 648 to both Simple and Noble. The blueprint is obtained from Magic Lamp stage 1-2.
For our shoes, we will go for the Heavenly Shelter sandals, again from Heaven’s High set, obtained when you activate season 4 Fashion Booster and reach a certain member level. This item is at a high 5-star rank and will give us 585 in Noble.
Socks don’t really go with sandals unless you are Japanese, but never the less we shall use any we got that can raise that score a little higher. We use the Spotless Socks, an item from the Gotham Memoirs story, that is at 3 stars and contributes with 188 to Simple.
For the neck slot, we will use the Light of Dawn necklace that is from the Magic Lamp storyline. The item is obtained randomly from the balloons and it is from the Desert Rose clothing set. These are at 4 stars and fit the requirements perfectly, giving us 348 in both Simple and Noble.
Dawn Dew earrings are not suggested for this stage but are a nice fit since they have both style traits we need. These are obtained from the balloons randomly and part of the Desert Rose set. They come at 6 stars and will give us an incredible 696 in both Simple and Noble.
As far as the gloves go, we shall use the Liberty & Freedom from the Queen Marie storyline, as we have nothing better. They are at a low 2-star rank but will contribute to both Simple and Noble with 168, which is not that bad.
For our ring slot, we shall use the Meeting of Waters ring from the Shadows of London story, obtained randomly from the balloons. This is a 4-star item that will contribute with 319 to Noble for our current outfit style requirements.
And, for the last accessory, the handheld item, we shall use the Ancient Legend staff from the Heaven’s Sigh set. The third item from that set that we are using for it does have a strong Noble contribution. This staff is at 6 stars and will give us 896 to Noble. As all Heaven’s Sigh items, it is obtained when you activate season 4 Fashion Booster and reach a certain member level.
Use any cat that you have that can help you with either Noble or Simple style traits. We only get 225 from our 3-star cat, but better that than nothing.
Lastly, we will use the Moonlight Quill relic that has the Chapter of the Swan trait, increasing the base score for Simple and Noble items by a flat 5.3%. It is a relic from the Swan Lake story, obtained when you reach Lv. 5 Goodwill with Aldous. Now, let’s see how we did…
Perfect! We’ve managed to ace this stage with a score of 7889, but the perfect threshold was at 7000 so we got a little extra. The Moonlight Quill is a must for getting perfect in this stage. Now that Gina is dressed for the banquet, let’s see what happens.
The guests are already there and Gina has to get to work immediately. The first one to arrive is an adult man, with a black stylish beard and mustache, in a purple robe, with a strange glowing staff, shaped like a serpent. He asks if this is Sinbad’s house.
Gina says it is, addressing him with “Sir” and asks if she can help him in any way. The man says that he’s heard of a special event going on and decided to come. Judging by his clothes and temperament, Gina can see that this man is not one of Sinbad’s usual friends. She asks for his invitation…
Another man, dressed in plain clothes, that accompanies the man in a purple robe jumps in and waves off Gina’s question, claiming how Sinbad’s house is open for anyone, regardless if they have an invitation. One other such man also cuts in and tells the man in purple that he guesses he is a foreigner judging by her clothes.
The man in purple confirms and says that he has arrived this morning on a freighter. One of the two other men asks the man in purple about the stick in his hand. He introduces himself as a Magician and says it is his wand.
Gina, or more accurately Alison inside of her, is surprised that this world has magicians. One of the ordinary men expresses his amusement. “Magician?” He asks again to be sure and continues to explain how the Full Moon Kingdom advocates science and no one believes in these ridiculous things anymore.
He then continues to explain to the Magician that if he wants to make a living in the capital, he should become a witch doctor and chase away poisons and other diseases. Or, he finishes, that he should be an Astrologer. The Royal Palace has recently put up a notice of recruiting those.
The man finally offers the magician to sail with them, but the Magician refuses it on the spot. He says he is not interested in such crude business, as he says. He explains that the power of magic can control nature and that man should be awed by it. The man tells him he is ungrateful.
He says that they were nice to invite him on their adventures and he kicks them away like dogs. The other man tells the magician that he came to the wrong place as Master Sinbad does not welcome the pretentious and conceited.
As the magician prepares something ominous, Gina thinks how this can go possibly really wrong. At this moment we arrive at our first branching choice for this stage. We can choose for Gina to attempt to defuse the situation or to just stand and watch, and we will go through both below.
Defuse the situation
Gina feels she should protect the cheerful atmosphere at the banquet and attempts to defuse the situation. She rushes forward to stand between the magician and the two navigators. She tells them that the banquet is about to start and that everyone should enter so that the delicious food does not get cold.
One of the navigators tells her that this arrogant magician’s identity is unknown and not to let him in. Gina says that whether one is a navigator or a magician, they are all adventurers that explore the unknown world.
Gina attempts to make a point and quote the words one of the navigators has said just moments ago and her tactic works. The navigators are speechless. They stand there blinking but remain silent. Finally, one of them says it is fine and admits he is a rough man and he sometimes doesn’t care what he says.
He tells the magician not to take it to heart. Gina says that Master Sinbad certainly hopes everyone has fun today, including the Mr. Magician as she calls him. The Magician hesitates for a moment but finally lowers his want and nods at Gina.
The magician continues his conversation with Gina he started before the navigators cut in. He says that he heard Master Sinbad likes meeting people from all walks of life and that he will let this ordeal pass. At that point, Sinbad arrives to save the day, laughing as he always does, maybe even more so.
He tells the three men not to get angry over such a small matter and tells them to hurry and try the delicacies he specially prepared today. Sinbad says he has found many new dishes recently and that their palet will be quite intrigued. And, they all go in.
Later on, when they are inside, Sinbad welcomes all his guests and says he enjoys having adventurers for dinner. He then continues by saying that, at his age, he rarely sails anymore, and reminiscing about strange encounters during his early years still thrills him.
One of the navigators tells him to stop joking and that he is living a life everyone envies. Especially compared to sailors who wander and gamble their lives all years round. Sinbad tells them, from the bottom of his heart, that nothing thrills him more than a sea voyage.
Sinbad tries to explain how he feels about sailing to his guests and tells them nothing compares to it. One of the navigators says that he is not as carefree as he is. He says that sailing would be meaningless to him if he couldn’t seek treasure.
He then continues by reminding Sinbad that he has mentioned he would be willing to show some of his finds and treasures to them. Sinbad opens his treasure box and places all of the contents on the long table. The guests gather around and look at each item with great curiosity.
One of the navigators expresses his amusement at the curiosities Sinbad showed. The other one agrees, saying he envies Sinbad’s luck and admitting they both haven’t seen such treasures in a long time. Gina thinks how after two months of working in Sinbad’s house she is used to seeing such treasures.
The navigators’ envious expressions are far more interesting to her now. She then notices how the magician is not excited by the sight of the treasures. She wonders if magicians are not interested in hold, silver, or jewelry… The magician starts pacing beside the table and looks coldly at the shiny treasures. However, when he sees a small silver trinket, he stops and is surprised.
The magician inquires about the small silver trinket. Sinbad calls him brother and tells him he has taste. He continues by saying that although the silver trinket doesn’t stand out at first glance, it was most likely carved by the court craftsmen from the previous dynasty.
As he says this, the guests all begin murmuring and all want to see the silver trinket. Sinbad tells Gina to show it to everyone. She then stands in front of the magician and notices how his gaze is locked on that piece of treasure.
Gina wonders how this item that has decayed so much can be so special to him. (At this point, we get the item and tap on it once to open it and then again to pick it up) One of the navigators repeats what Sinbad has said “A silver trinket from the previous dynasty!? Unbelievable!”
He continues by quoting the stories that mention The Forty Thieves who ransacked the former Royal Palace and hid all its treasures in a secret cave. He asks Sinbad if he perhaps found that very cave where they hid the treasures.
The other navigator is already fantasizing about what kinds of treasures it contained and he asks Sinbad why he would keep such a secret from them. He says that these treasures are so vast that he couldn’t enjoy all of them in many lifetimes over, let alone one, so why not share this find…
When Sinbad is finally allowed to speak, he tells him he misunderstood. He didn’t discover any caves. It was a foreign merchant that sold this trinket to him, for “an arm and a leg”. Sinbad says that he also knows about the legendary Forty Thieves and their treasures stories, but he finally tries to steer the conversation in a different direction…
Sinbad starts telling his stories again. Gina has heard them so many times she knows them by heart. A little while later, after the banquet ends, she is back in her room. The kitty is there this time to greet her and Gina is relieved to have found her. At that moment, the kitty jumps through the window again…
Gina yells after her to wait but to no avail. She tries to chase after her, but it is futile. The cat is too fast and always disappears in a second. Gina wonders if the cat is stealing food again… After chasing her, Gina ended up back in the banquet hall again, this time empty.
This time, she hears footsteps and she sees the Magician. She hides as he walks and talks to himself. He says that “this man” doesn’t deserve this treasure and that he will give it the praise it truly deserves. Gina sees Sinbad’s silver trinket in his hands. He leaves the banquet hall in a hurry and exits through a side entrance.
Gina thinks that if she screams now she might be killed before anyone arrives to help her. She decides not to act rashly and tries to observe the Magician in secret, hoping for an opportunity to get the silver trinket back. And, at this point the stage ends, we shall now go over the second choice.
Back to Previous ChoiceJust Watch
We now go for the other choice, which is to just watch as the two navigators and the Magician argue and things are about to escalate. This additional choice will cost an additional 5 stamina. When choosing to just sit and watch, Gina wonders what magic will the Magician perform, if any.
She wonders if he will turn a human into a lamb as magicians do in the stories. She stands like that, thinking about what will happen when someone suddenly cries out. It is one of the navigators. He yells “My Gold!”
His bag of coins drops and scatters and the navigator is in a state of panic. He doesn’t know after which coin to dive first and he gets so angry he stamps on his own foot. The other navigator tells him that he secured that money bag himself and wonders how it could break so easily. He asks the Magician if it was his doing…
The Magician smiles faintly, playing dumb and asking what does this have to do with him.HE says he is here to attend the banquet, not to argue with them. However, the angry navigator is not satisfied with the answer and yells “You!” at him…
Both navigators are now angry, while the Magician is very calm, seemingly amused by this. Gina wonders if it was really not his doing and she is not sure. They continue arguing and her head begins to hurt from thinking about how best to try and mediate between them, but at that point, booming laughter comes from the doorway…
Sinbad arrives to save the day. He says that even the coins are anxious about their tardiness, talking to the three men and calling them all his friends. Sinbad says he will have someone pick up that gold and return it to the navigator, so he shouldn’t worry.
He tells the three men not to get angry over such a small matter and tells them to hurry and try the delicacies he specially prepared today. Sinbad says he has found many new dishes recently and that their palet will be quite intrigued. And, they all go in.
