Magic Lamp Stage 1-7
Complete Walkthrough
Hello and welcome to our Dress up! Magic Lamp stage 1-7 walkthrough, where we will walk you through the story and include all included elements, along with the outfit we used and how to obtain all the individual clothing items. This story is based on the, of course, familiar Aladin storyline and it is adapted for the game.
The adaptation is, of course, primarily in the fact that the lead character is a female, Gina, and not Aladin, but there are also other adaptations as well. But, generally, the story is pretty similar to the source material and has the same appeal as the original.
So far, we’ve met characters like Kahir, Samar, Sinbad, some slavers, some navigators, and of course the Magician, who is, it is safe to presume, the main villain for the story. In the previous stage, he led Gina to the cave with the treasures Forty Thieves hidden long ago and forced her to find him the lamp.
Gina managed to find the lamp and survive the trap in the cave, but the Magician wanted to trick her and take the lamp while leaving her trapped. There was an altercation and she fell in, but with the Magic Lamp in her possession.
She then met the Genie in the lamp, who actually helped her survive her fall, and the two made a pact. She is to help him retrieve a Gemstone he needs to augment the power of the lamp and also return his memory, while he will grant her one wish afterward.
This stage requires you to have Sinbad Goodwill Lv. 2 and the stage hint suggests some clothing to help you get the perfect score you need to get the mandatory blueprint prize. We’ve crafted all the suggested items, which include the Morning Dew accessory, the Wondrous Rose dress, and the Golden Heart. Now, let’s see what lies in store for Gina and Light…
Gina brought Light with her back to Sinbad’s mansion, but she now asks him to get back into the lamp so no one sees him and she won’t have to explain why she brought a floating genie back home. Just as he gets in the Lamp, Sinbad arrives to greet her.
Sinbad calls out to Gina from across the yard, thanking goodness she’s back. He says he sent people to look for her everywhere and asks her what happened to her. Gina knows her clothes are quite dirty from being in that cave and she is thinking about what she’ll say…
Sinbad says he was worried and again asks for an explanation. Where did she go? Gina remembers she promised Light she will keep the Magic Lamp secret, but Sinbad is a good man and she can’t lie to him. She hesitates, but has to make a decision…
And, we arrive at the first choice for this stage. Gina can choose to tell Sinbad the truth or to stay silent and say nothing. We will go through both options and follow up on both branching paths below, so please find the navigation buttons to skip to the choice you want.
Tell him the truth
When you go for this option, Gina hesitates for a moment but finally decides to tell Sinbad about what happened. She tells about the Magician who stole the silver trinket and how she followed him, only to fall into his trap when he threw her into the cave deep in the desert.
However, Gina omits to tell him about the Magic Lamp part. Sinbad is very worried about everything Gina told him. He says it is terrifying to be trapped in such a dangerous place and calls Gina his poor child. He then asks her one crucial question – how did she escape?
Gina now has to lie and she tells a made-up story about a hidden exit, which conveniently collapsed after she escaped. Sinbad is relieved that she was so fortunate and says that God must have rewarded her for her bravery. However, he now wants to make her promise him she won’t take any more risks such as this one on her own, no matter what.
Sinbad says he knows she is not the girl running from slavers anymore, but tells her he is here to help and that he will always be there. His words warm Gina’s heart and she tells Sinbad she is sorry for worrying him. She promises she will be less reckless in the future.
In the end, Gina wants to express how sorry she is for failing at her attempt of stopping the robbery. Sinbad tells her that she was a silly child for risking her life for a material object. The only important thing is that she is back safely. Gina then states that it must be a pity…
It is a pity that they don’t have the trinket back for they could have used it to find the Forty Thieves’ treasures. Sinbad answers by saying that everyone thinks he loves hunting for treasure, but what he actually enjoys is the voyage itself and the exploring of the unknown.
Finally, Sinbad gives a very profound piece of advice about the love of the material. He reminds Gina of the story of the Forty Thieves. They were cursed by their treasure no long ago after they’ve ransacked the former palace. After that, their greed made them turn on one another.
Gina tells him that the story is curious because people believe these Forty Thieves destroyed the old dynasty, but they were just a gang of thieves, not a very large one in fact. No matter how ferocious they were, they wouldn’t have been able to destroy an entire kingdom, she makes a point.
Sinbad explains that it was only possible to do so because the dynasty in question was already falling. However, even though they took advantage of their weak period, no one knows how they were able to loot the Palace as there was never a credible account of the happening.
Sinbad says that the Royal Library may have some documents regarding that time period. Gina immediately thinks how Light mentioned the gemstone on the Magic Lamp was lost during a turmoil many years ago and it was in the cave where the Forty Thieves hid the treasures stolen from the palace…
IT would appear Gina now has her first clue to what happened and how the gemstone got separated from the Magic Lamp or at least a possibility of finding out something. She also remembers that someone mentioned the Royal Library earlier. A name flashes in her mind…
“Kahir!” Gina remembers Kahir told her he works in the royal library. Sinbad tells her that he does spend most of his time there, but Sinbad hasn’t seen him in a while actually. Foreign envoys will be visiting the Royal Palace so everyone working there is busy making preparations.
It would appear Gina has to wait a while before she can see Kahir, but she already knows what to do. Instead of waiting for an opportunity, she will rather create one. A while later, she goes to the marketplace to investigate.
After a short inquiry, Gina finds out that the foreign envoys will indeed visit the Palace and she finds when this will happen. She also discovers that the Palace will open its usually closed main gate to welcome a large number of foreign envoys.
A while later, Gina is in her quarters at the mansion, and she is formulating her plan. When the foreign envoys arrive in the capital, on that day she plans to develop a coincidental stomachache and stay home. Everything is ready for her plan, except the Magic Lamp, she must consult Light so she rubs the lamp.
Light comes out grumpy and he tells Gina he can’t believe she kept him cooped up in this dark, cramped lamp for so long. Gina explains she had to wait for the right time to let him out and apologizes. She tells him it must have been hard. Light immediately asks her a question about her plan…
Light is wondering why they are waiting because, with the Magic Lamp, you can be anywhere you want in the blink of an eye. “Really?” asks Gina, because when she wanted to save time a few days ago and asked him to transport her to the marketplace, she ended up in a sheep pen.
Another time, Gina reminds Light, she wanted to drink milk, but a bull materialized in her room. Light frowns and says his powers are damaged, so he sometimes makes small mistakes. But, once he has the gemstone, he will be able to travel great distances and taste all the delicacies of the world.
Gina hopes she will find what she seeks in the Royal Library and Kahir would certainly be of help now. But, she reminds Light, they have to pretend to be a part of the foreign envoy delegation first and then sneak into the Palace with the crowd.
Light asks her if she intends to go dressed like this and tells her that if she goes in Sinbad’s household work outfit, she won’t be able to get anywhere near the delegation, let alone into the Palace. Gina tells him she obviously won’t be dressed like this and she will disguise herself as one of the envoys so she can sneak in successfully.
Light says that is an actual plan and admits he is impressed. Since she’s already thought of everything, why did she call him, he asks. Gina tells him it is not easy finding people in such a big palace and she will bring the Magic Lamp with her so Light can save her if there’s any trouble. He asks her if she’s not afraid he’ll screw up again?
Gina tells him that his magic isn’t very reliable, true, but it will still be helpful. Even if he does summon a bull while she’s surrounded by guards, that will create enough chaos for her to escape. Light tells her she underestimates him if she thinks he is only capable of little chaos. She asks him if he is becoming arrogant?
Gina asks him if they did not agree to help each other. She reminds him she is taking a huge risk sneaking into the Palace to discover his gemstone’s whereabouts. If she gets caught, who is going to find it for him, she asks and Light becomes silent for a moment. After staring intently at her for a while, he finally relaxes.
He tells Gina it is more important to find the gemstone and promises to come along. Gina thanks him. That puts her mind at ease. But, before Gina can attempt her maneuver, she needs to change her clothes and it is dress up time now!
This Magic Lamp stage 1-7 requires Grand and Charming clothing styles, so we will filter those out. Also, we will be wearing all the clothing items we crafted especially for this stage, which were hinted which include the Morning Dew accessory, the Wondrous Rose dress, and the Golden Heart.
We start with the hat slot, the first head clothing slot, and the best item we have currently for this is the Desert Praises crown, from the Desert Treasure set. It is a Magic Lamp clothing item, obtained randomly from the balloons, and it comes at max star level, but will only contribute to Charming, with 855.
A similar thing happens with our hairstyle choice. The best we’ve got is not the ideal combination of styles, but it will yield the highest value. It is the Maiden’s Song hairdo, that is from the Heaven’s Sigh set, obtained by activating the Season 4 Fashion Booster. It is at 5 stars and will give us 678 in Grand.
Finally, we have an item that has both the styles we need and it is the Pure Masque. It is an item from the Queen Marie storyline and it comes at 3 stars. For our current outfit style needs, it will contribute with 267 in both Grand and Charming.
For the most important slot, the dress, we will use the Wondrous Rose dress that was suggested for this stage. It is a common Magic Lamp item, obtained from the encounters with a noble during the story. It comes at 3 stars and will provide us with 648 in both Grand and Charming.
The Reverie Stroll sandals are from the Magic Lamp storyline. The blueprint is obtained by having perfect score in stage 1-4 and they come with 4 stars. These match the style requirements perfectly and will give us 418 to both Grand and Charming.
There are no socks required for this stage and really no socks get along with the sandals, but never the less we will use the Pure White Florals just for the sake of 365 to Grand style they will give us. These are obtained when you Activate Season 5 Fashion Booster and are from the Springtime Story set.
The best neck slot item we got for this occasion is the Trendy Rococo bow, from the Bourbon Rose set. This one drops randomly from a magical gift but it is excellent as it arrives with 6 stars and awards 708 in Grand for our current needs.
We will be using the best earrings we got for these style requirements, which is currently the Dance with the Wind pair. These are from a City Date set and are obtained by raising the VIP level. They come with 5 stars and will give us 495 to Charming.
Now, for the bracelet slot, the stage hint suggested the Golden Heart bracelet, which is quite sufficient and should be worn unless you have something better. Like we do, and it is Bejeweled Bangle, which is at 5 stars and matches the style requirements perfectly. It is from the Gilded Poetry set and you have a chance for a drop when you complete orders for Lovecraft. It will give us 454 to both Grand and Charming.
We shall wear the River of Love ring, which is from the Aphrodite’s Grace set. It is a nice item, fitting to our style needs perfectly. It is at 4 stars and will contribute us with 324 to both Grand and Charming. It drops randomly from the balloons.
For the handheld item slot, we will use the Letter from March special item, which is from the Springtime Story set. It is obtained when you Activate Season 5 Fashion Booster and comes at a max 6-star rank, awarding us with 885 to Grand.
We don’t have any makeup styles that match the style needs completely, so we shall use the best we’ve got, which is the Nostalgia in Spring style. This one is at 5 stars and will give us 432 to Grand. It is from the Kensington Gardens Spring set, obtained via 2021 Princess Gala event.
Use any cat that you have that can boost your score for even a little bit. 162 to Charming is not that much, but better that than nothing.
We will use the Snake Wand relic which we’ve just obtained by raising the Goodwill with the Magician above Lv. 5. If you don’t have it yet, any item that can help with Grand or Charming will do, although this one is a perfect match. It increases the base score of Shoes and Socks by a flat percent and increases the base score for Grand and Charming items if you wear 3 items from the same clothing set. Now, let’s see how we did…
We’ve managed to get over that Perfect threshold which means we will be getting all the rewards from the stage. Now, let’s see if Gina will have success sneaking into the Palace dressed like this, with the Magic Lamp in her pocket.
Even Light can’t hide how delightful Gina looks in Charming and Grand clothes. She did not expect such high praise from him, as she says, but Light then says there is no time to waste. They need to get going at once. He tells Gina to take good care of the lamp and only summon him if there is an emergency.
A little while later, Gina joins the crowd of foreign envoys and manages to enter the palace with them unnoticed. The event is so luxurious that it even surpasses her wildest expectations as the entire palace is taken over by this grand festival. However, when the opportunity presents itself, she takes the slip…
Gina silently slips into an empty corner near the garden and is relieved that this was not that hard as she has expected it could be. Now, the only problem is that she doesn’t know where the Royal Library is. And, we get to the second branching choice point in this Magic Lamp stage 1-7. Gina can continue walking along the corridor she sees, or go to the far end of the garden. We will go through both choices below.
Continue walking along the corridor
When chosen, Gina continues through the corridor and a few seconds later she is seen by a Palace Guard with a spear, who yells “Halt!” at her. He stops Gina and informs her that this is the assembly hall of the Executive Cabinet and that nobody is allowed to enter. She tells him she is the follower of the envoys visiting the Palace.
Gina pretends that she wanted to check out the beautiful palace garden but went the wrong way and tells the guard she will turn back immediately. However, the guard tells her to wait… HE eyes her suspiciously and she feels chill in her stomach. The guard finally asks…
It would appear her cover is not complete without an envoy’s pass, and the guard has noticed that. Gina is thinking how she had no idea she needed such a thing while sneaking into the palace with the crowd… Finally, she tells him she thinks she lost it while she was walking around. She tells him she will go back and find the pass…
The guard tells her that without the pass she isn’t going anywhere. She needs to be interrogated by the chief of Royal Palace guards and tells her to follow him. Gina is in trouble now and in an act of desperation, she abruptly tries to shake off the guard, running as fast as she can to a deserted corner and takes out the Magic Lamp. Even without coming out of the Lamp, Light’s powers don’t fail this time and, in a blink of an eye, Gina is back at the crossroads… And, we’ve back at our previous choice, the second branching point in the stage.
Back to Previous Choice
Check the Far end of the garden
In this path, Gina spots what looks like a fine hall at the far end of the garden and decides to check it out. However, when she gets there, she is again seen and halted by a Palace Guard. He stops Gina with his spear pointed out and tells her that the Royal Library is only accessible to members of the royal family and appointed ministers.
Gina tells him she is with the envoys and she came here to visit a scribe. “Scribe?” the guard asks and Gina tells him the scribe’s name is Kahir. The guard’s eyes open wide at the name and he stares at her incredulously. Finally, the guard asks who she is, and…
After scorning Gina for speaking of “his Highness so lightly”, the guard sounds an alert and calls for reinforcements. He says to throw this foreigner in jail! Two guards are running over but Gina tells him to wait… “His Highness? Jail? What are you saying?”
But, before they can arrest her, she hears a voice coming and asking them what’s going on? Gina feels the voice is familiar, gentle, and reassuring to her. It is Kahir. He comes and asks what seems to be the matter. He heard a commotion as soon as he entered the garden.
The guard tells him about Gina and she then turns to greet him. Kahir appeared at just the right moment and she is so relieved she almost cried. Gina makes faces at him, desperately trying to get his attention and Kahir finally recognizes her. “Gina!” he shouts…
The guard wants to say something more about her but Kahir interrupts him and says that the envoys brought a bunch of rare ancient books, so he called for scholars in the library to sort and translate them. This follower is here especially to help with that and she is also his friend, Kahir tells the guards…
This works as the guard now apologizes to Gina. Kahir adds that this is a misunderstanding, but he respects the guard and praises his attentiveness to his duty. The guard tells him that keeping the Royal Palace safe is their duty of honor!
After the guards leave, only Kahir and Gina remain in the garden. She is glad she found Kahir much sooner than she expected and things are going much better than she planned now. And, here we arrive at the end of Magic Lamp stage 1-7. Our walkthrough continues for the second branching path in the first choice.
Back to Previous ChoiceSay nothing
This second choice will cost an additional 5 stamina and, when chosen, Gina stays silent about her adventures when Sinbad asks her where she’s been all this time. She is frustrated she wasn’t able to recover the trinket back to Sinbad…
Sinbad shakes his head sadly when she doesn’t reply to his question. Finally, he asks her if she knows why he prefers to be called Sinbad rather than “Master”. It is, he continues because he hopes people like her will see him as their friend and maybe even family, not a lofty master of the house. He tells Gina he hopes she will trust him more in the future…
Gina couldn’t let this wonderful man go away so sad and had to tell him something. She calls him back and tells him about the magician stealing his silver trinket and how she followed him into the desert. She also tells him about how she was trapped in the cave… She only omits the part about the Magic Lamp.
Se says that if she ever sees that Magician again she will get the trinket back from him. Sinbad says a firm “No” to all she said and tells her she must promise him she won’t take risks on her own anymore, no matter what… Gina asks if it isn’t a pity though…
Gina tells him she is sorry that the cave is now lost to them.
