Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 1 Stage 14 of Dress up Time Princess. Last time, you went to Paris to meet with someone who could help you investigate the diamond necklace affair. This “someone” turned out to be d’Eon, also known as Madame Beaumont, a highly skilled individual working under the King. You told d’Eon everything you know, and now is the time to see the results of his work. The stage window will display all the relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.
Several days after your trip to Paris, you will still wait for news from d’Eon. After wandering anxiously around your room, you will spot Madame Beaumont standing in front of you.
You’ll get a bit startled by his sudden appearance, and ask how he got in. d’Eon will just smile and say it’s one of his secrets. You’ll then ask him about the investigation. Apparently, that is the reason he decided to visit you. He will quickly inform you that Jeanne has been captured and is about to be questioned.
He will ask if you want to join the interrogation. After thinking for a bit, you will nod and agree to come along. Shortly after, the two of you will head into the dungeons. Upon arriving, d’Eon will say that the information you provided matches what he discovered while investigating Cardinal Rohan. He will be very fascinated by the whole affair.
Moments later, he will take you to Jeanne’s cell. You will notice her cowering in the corner, and as soon as she sees you, she will start shouting. Of course, she will try to blame Cardinal Rohan for everything.
Madame Beaumont will remind her that acting won’t save her this time. After all, d’Eon managed to dig up all the horrible things about Jeanne’s family. She will quickly change her expression and start cursing at him. Unfortunately for her, she won’t really be in a position to do anything.
Jeanne will then start explaining that her family is on par with the House of Bourbon in terms of position and family history. You will calmly say it was jealousy and greed that got her into this situation. She won’t admit it and will start making excuses.
You will notice a lot of hatred in her eyes. Even after getting caged, she will still stand by her beliefs. You will tell her that this whole affair caused a lot of problems. Sadly, she won’t seem to care much about that since all she ever wanted was the necklace. She’ll say she didn’t know people would be disappointed in you.
You will then ask about her accomplice. By the looks of it, Jeanne doesn’t care about her at all. She simply gave some money to that woman in exchange for her help. She will even go as far as to say she was good to her accomplice. Madame Beaumont will quickly remind her that sending men to “deal with her” isn’t really a definition of being good to someone.
Upon hearing that, you will quickly ask d’Eon about that woman. Luckily for her, she survived the assassination and is recovering from her injuries. Apparently, she wasn’t involved in Jeanne’s plans. She was simply paid by Jeanne to play her part. Once you hear this, you will ask d’Eon to take good care of her and arrange for her to be employed upon recovering.
Unfortunately, he will inform you that Jeanne’s husband has already sold off a great number of the diamonds from the necklace. He will say he can recover the diamonds if you wish. You’ll tell him there’s no need for that since the top priority is to put a stop to all of the chaos that is happening.
He will then ask how you wish to deal with Jeanne. According to d’Eon, the King gave you full control over the whole investigation, and that includes deciding Jeanne’s fate. d’Eon will point out that her very existence is an insult to the royal family. After all, she used the royal family name to commit theft, and she should pay the price for doing so. Madame Beaumont will suggest either making her disappear forever or making an example of her.
Upon hearing this, Jeanne will suddenly change her expression. All of the daring and arrogance will disappear from her face and she will start pleading for her life. You will think for a while before making a decision.
If you choose to publicly execute Jeanne, d’Eon will be more than surprised by your decision. You will explain that letting Jeanne go would probably result in her trying to do something even more terrible. Madame Beaumont will nod in agreement. As for Jeanne, she will franticly beg for you to spare her life.
Suddenly, d’Eon will do something to silence her. He will say that using Jeanne as an example would send a clear message to others.

If you choose to have Jeanne executed in secret, d’Eon will say that he expected you to let her walk away. You will sternly reply that some people simply cannot be allowed to live. This will grant you some Goodwill with d’Eon.
As for Jeanne, you will notice a terror in her eyes as she starts begging for her life. You will know that as soon as you leave, d’Eon will end her life. You will tell her that these are the consequences of her own actions and she will soon pay the price for it.
Jeanne will try to speak, but you will notice that d’Eon has done something to prevent her from making a sound. He will then ask if you wish to have her suffer before she dies. You will calmly tell him to grant her a quick death.
Shortly after, d’Eon will ask you how to deal with Cardinal Rohan. After all, his idiocy led to most of this. You will think for a bit and ask d’Eon to announce Rohan’s misdeeds to the public and have him pay the debt.
Madame Beaumont will ask if you are sure about it. You will say you know it will affect the reputation of the royal family, but this is the only option you have. There isn’t much you can do to defend yourself, so hopefully, this will change the people’s opinion of you.
Moments later, you will watch d’Eon take Jeanne away, and suddenly, you will feel as if you’re safer in the dungeons than back at the palace.
This will mark the end of Queen Marie Chapter 1 Stage 14 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive rewards for completing the stage.
