Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 1 Stage 7 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous stage, you decided to pay a visit to the jeweler Bohmer and see if he had anything to do with the rumors spreading about you buying the diamond necklace. Upon visiting him, you learned that he had nothing to do with the rumors, but he did say that Madame Adelaide told him you are interested in the necklace. Unfortunately, you don’t have any solid proof that she was behind the rumors. You also met the strange lady called Jeanne de Valois. Despite her being friendly to you, there was something about her that didn’t feel right. While you were leaving the jewelry shop, you stumbled upon Cardinal Louis Rohan. Needless to say, you weren’t very happy to see him, so you went back to the palace. Now is the time to continue the story. The stage window will display the short description, requirements, as well as the rewards.
As you were readying yourself for the costume ball, Madame Deniau will inform you that Lafayette wishes to speak to you. The stern Marquis will graciously bow and tell you that the rumors have been quelled. You will be delighted to hear the news and you’ll thank him for his help.
Lafayette will notice something about you is different, and he’ll be sure to mention it. You’ll decide to be playful about it and teasingly ask him which version of you he loves the most. Needless to say, this will shock the poor Marquis, and he’ll stare at you for a moment. You will quickly correct yourself.
He’ll politely say that you act more like a Queen now, compared to before. He’ll ask if there’s anything else you need of him before he leaves. You’ll ask if he’ll be attending the ball. Lafayette will admit that he’s never been interested in such festivities. You’ll think for a while and then come up with an idea to invite him to the ball.
Lafayette will remind you that everyone will be wearing a mask at the ball, which means you wouldn’t be able to recognize him. You’ll then come up with a solution.
He’ll agree to your proposition, and leave you to prepare for the ball. Soon after, Gabrielle will arrive to see if you are ready. She’ll be shocked to see that you aren’t dressed up yet and she’ll ask if you’ve forgotten about the ball. There are three options to respond with. Picking the first or the third choice will grant you some Goodwill with Gabrielle while selecting the second one will reduce your Goodwill with her. Other than that, this choice won’t have any major impact on the story.
Shortly after, you’ll decide to get dressed for the ball. Gabrielle will pass you an intricate box. Inside, you’ll find a lovely dress, perfect for the occasion.
For this stage, you should look for the clothing items with Grand and Charming tags. These will grant you the most points, which will help you complete the stage with the perfect score.
Gabrielle will be charmed by your looks once you’re done dressing up. She’ll ask if you are trying to surprise a special person. She’ll wink at you, but you won’t really know who she’s referring to. However, one person will instantly come to your mind. This is where you’ll be able to choose who you’re thinking of. This choice won’t have any big consequences for the story, so you can freely pick anyone you like. Keep in mind that you will get some Goodwill with the person you choose.
You’ll think for a while about that special person, and Gabrielle will notice it. She’ll be curious to know who you’re thinking of, but this time, you’ll decide to keep it a secret.
Soon enough, you’ll head to the ballroom. Upon arriving, you’ll be astounded by its magnificence. Everything will look so perfect, and you’ll notice that everyone is very relaxed, partly due to having their identities concealed by masks. You’ll then notice two familiar figures. One of them will look gentle and dashing, while the other will appear cold and stern. You can choose to approach one of them. This choice will impact the rest of the stage. If you like Fersen, it is recommended to approach the gentle and dashing figure. On the other hand, if you prefer Lafayette, you should approach the cold and stern figure.
If you approach the gentle and dashing figure, you’ll feel as if you know who that person is. While approaching, you’ll get the sense he feels the same way about you. He’ll bow down graciously, and he’ll send some compliments your way. Immediately, you’ll recognize Fersen’s voice. This will grant you some Goodwill with him.
You’ll be drawn in by the gentleness of his voice, and the mesmerizing blue eyes gazing at you from the mask will radiate with passion. You’ll quickly start blushing. Fersen will notice you are very shy, and you’ll be unsure if he recognized you or not.
Moments later, he will ask you for a dance. While you’ll be very happy about this, you’ll suddenly wonder if he recognized you or not. You will try to pull yourself together and ask him about it.
Fersen will explain that out of all people in the ballroom, you’re the most beautiful one. He will say that the moment you walked in, he hasn’t been able to pull his eyes away from you. You’ll decide to be direct and ask if he knows who you are.
He’ll cheekily reply that one does not simply reveal another person’s identity during a costume ball. He’ll ask if you’re hoping that he recognized you. You will try to push him into answering your question first. He’ll nod and calmly say he feels like he knows you… as if this is not the first time he’s meeting you.
You will ask him to be a bit more specific, but he’ll dodge your question saying he met you in the land of dreams. You’ll remember the first time you met him, that fateful night that brought the two of you together and you will be a bit disappointed at him for not recognizing you immediately. Determined, you will make an excuse and start walking away from him.
Fersen will quickly rush after you, unsure why you left so suddenly. You’ll ask if he treats every “lady in his dreams” similarly. He will instantly apologize and say he immediately recognized his flawless white rose. He will admit he was just teasing you a bit.

Fersen will then ask if you recognized him or not. There are three options to choose from.
If you calmly say his name, you will smile and admit you recognized him immediately. This will grant you some Goodwill with Fersen, and he will be overjoyed.
If you decide to be cheeky and say you don’t recognize him, you will teasingly say that you recognize him as the man of your dreams. This will leave poor Fersen confused for a moment, but you will actually gain some Goodwill with him by picking this option.
Lastly, if you decide to call him Lafayette on purpose, Fersen will be very jealous of his battle comrade. You will lose some Goodwill with him, but you will gain some Goodwill with Lafayette if you pick this option.
Regardless of the option you chose, you will remove his mask and dance the night away in the presence of this adorable Swedish Count.
If you decided to approach the cold and stern figure, you will notice that he is just standing in the corner of the hall, sternly refusing all dance invitations. He will notice you moving towards him and quickly turn your way to say he’s not in the mood for a dance. This will earn you some Goodwill with Lafayette.
You will notice the frustration in his voice even without seeing his face. As for the mask, it will only make him more desirable. You’ll tell him you’re not trying to ask him for a dance. He’ll look at you with eyes filled with surprise and curiosity, and you will finally notice that he seems a bit more relaxed. You’ll ask if you can stay beside him and talk for a while.
He’ll smile at you while nodding in response. While standing near him, you will feel plenty of jealous eyes gazing at you. After a moment of silence, you will ask him a question.
He will calmly say he neither like nor dislike dancing, he just isn’t in a mood to dance. You will be curious to know why. Lafayette will politely say he promised a certain lady to attend.
You will giggle a bit and say that the lady he mentioned probably thinks he’s too uptight and that the ball would be a good chance for him to relax. He will glare at you and ask if you know who he is. You’ll quickly say you were only making a guess. After all, everyone is wearing a mask.
He will look at you for a while and say that you seem very familiar. He’ll ask if the two of you met before. You will quickly come up with an excuse, saying that both of you are from Paris, so you probably met before somewhere. He’ll glare at you and say he felt there’s something different about you.
You will then decide to take your leave after wishing him an enjoyable night. Lafayette will quickly ask you to wait, and you’ll notice that all of the coldness has vanished from him. He will kindly smile at you and ask you for a dance.
You will be surprised by his sudden invitation. He’ll say you’re unique and near you, he feels like he can finally relax and stop being uptight. After teasing him a bit, he will admit he’s deeply attracted to you.
After dancing for a while, you will be so drawn to him you’ll miss a dance step, trip over your skirt and accidentally step on his foot. You will quickly apologize to him and swear you didn’t do it on purpose. He will tell you he knows a lady who is just like you, at least when it comes to dancing.
You will curiously ask Lafayette about this lady. He’ll politely say it’s a very special lady who asked him to attend the ball. He’ll admit he used to believe in the rumors he heard about her, but after getting to know her, he realized how good of a person she is. He’ll then explain what happened during the time he danced with this lady.
Hearing this will make your heart beat faster and faster. Lafayette will notice you’re getting nervous and he’ll ask you to relax and enjoy the evening. You’ll just smile at him and nod.
You will dance with the charming Marquis until the band finishes playing the last tune of the night. Before leaving the ballroom, Lafayette will ask you to tell him your name. As it seems, he was more than impressed by you. He will look at you with eyes full of expectations, and you will realize how deeply attracted to him you are. You will smile at him and tell him your real name.
He will thank you for sharing your name with him and promise to remember it forever. He’ll then introduce himself as Marquis de Lafayette and ask you to call him Gilbert.
You will try calling his name a few times, and you’ll notice a warm smile on his face. Lafayette will then ask if you could tell him your address too. Apparently, he’s interested in spending more time with you. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to answer that question and you’ll quickly rush out of the ballroom.
For the rest of the night, you will think of his handsome face and smiling eyes, and your dreams will be filled with the two of you dancing away.
This will mark the end of Queen Marie Chapter 1-7 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive rewards for completing the stage.
