Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 1 Stage 8 of Dress up Time Princess. Last time, Lafayette informed you that the rumors have been quelled, which relieved you of your worries. Later that night, you attended the costume ball where you had the chance to dance with either Fersen or Lafayette. Needless to say, you had a wonderful time. Now is the time to continue the story. The stage window will display all the relevant information.
After that night, you needed to spend a few days resting, and you’ll still feel a bit exhausted. Gabrielle will arrive to check on you and she’ll notice that you are still tired. She’ll tell you that the King is hosting a banquet tonight, but she’ll be worried about your health. You’ll decide not to attend it, and you’ll ask Gabrielle to help you inform the King about it.
Gabrielle will nod and suggest you might want to take a short stroll in the gardens since the moon looks very beautiful. Given that everyone will be at the banquet, you’ll decide to agree with her proposition.
You’ll then get to dress up. Since you don’t want to catch a cold, you might want to pick some Warm and Simple clothes.
Gentle beams of moonlight and the thousands of sparkling stars will decorate the night sky. The garden will be remarkably quiet. Only the sound of the breeze passing through the trees and the chirping of insects will occasionally break the silence. While walking through the garden, you will notice some figures in the shadows. This will immediately draw your attention.
You won’t be able to recognize the voices, but you’ll easily figure out that they are a man and a woman. As it seems, the man will offer a gift to the woman, asking her to accept it as a token of his sincerity. He’ll speak very cautiously, anticipating the woman’s reply. You’ll also get the feeling you heard his voice before. The woman will accept his gift without hesitation. The man’s next sentence will leave you in shock.
You’ll try to get closer in order to see who they are. You will notice that the woman looks and sounds very much like you, but you won’t be able to get a good look at the man since his back will be facing you. That’s when you’ll realize that the woman is impersonating you. You will quickly try to figure out her identity.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to recognize her, and while trying to move in closer to get a better look, you will accidentally make a noise and alert them of your presence. They will immediately realize someone is watching them, and the “Queen” will quickly leave the place. Just as you were to yell for the guards, the man will vanish without a trace.
You’ll then decide to check out the spot they were standing on. After careful examination, you will notice something on the ground near the path the man took when he escaped.
You will take the pocket watch and decide to find out who its owner is. Perhaps you will get a chance during your opera singing performance in a few days. In any case, you will decide to return to your room and rest.
On your way back, you will encounter a fork in the path. One branch is a small path that Fersen and you often used to meet on, while the other branch is a larger path that Lafayette often takes. You will be able to choose which path to take. If you danced with Lafayette during the previous chapter, you will be able to take the main path. If your dance partner was Fersen, you will be able to take the small path.
If you choose to take the main path, after a short while you will hear the sound of hurried footsteps. Just as you’re about to flee, you’ll hear a stern and deep voice calling out from behind you. Suddenly, a strong hand will grab a hold of your shoulder and upon turning around, you will see Lafayette.
He will mistake you for the lady he danced with. In truth, it was you, but unfortunately, Lafayette won’t be aware of that. He will realize he’s talking to the Queen and he will deeply apologize.
You’ll then realize that Lafayette is completely enamored of “that version of you”. Needless to say, you will feel very pleased about this, and your heart will start racing. You will decide to tease him a bit and ask him about the person he mistook you for.
He will say he doesn’t really know who she is. He will admit he never really saw her face. You will decide to dig a little deeper and ask him another question. Poor Marquis will find himself in a very uncomfortable situation, and he won’t understand why you are so curious about it.
He will think for a while and try to connect the dots. He’ll then look at you as if he’s trying to figure out if you were the person he danced with. Eventually, he will give up on it and offer to escort you back to the palace. You will thank him for being so considerate and you’ll gladly accept his offer.

If you choose to take the small path, you will notice a man standing next to the fountain. You will instantly recognize this dashing young man, and you will loudly call out his name. Upon hearing your voice, Fersen will turn around.
You will be very surprised to see him. He’ll smile and admit that the banquet was no fun without you. He will then remind you of the first time the two of you arranged to meet in the garden. You will notice the cheeky smile on his face, just as he makes a bold assumption.
You’ll tell him you were just taking a stroll and are heading back to your room. You will also admit you were thinking about him too. Fersen will smile at you once again and say that you’re making his heart race faster. He will notice that something’s troubling you.
You will be surprised that he is so observant. Fersen will then admit you are the most important person to him and ask you to tell him what’s troubling you. For a moment, you will hesitate to answer him.
Fersen will tell you that ever since he returned from the war, he swore to himself that he would spend the rest of his life loving you. He’ll add that even if he cannot be your partner, he intends to become your one and only knight. You will feel like you’ve been enchanted by some kind of spell upon hearing his words, but you will somehow manage to compose yourself and say that you’re fine before wishing him good night.
You will hear him calling after you, but you will quickly gather up your skirt and run off to your chambers. You’ll take one last glance at him from a distance and notice him looking in your direction with a look full of concern. Unable to bear looking at his eyes, you will run away as fast as you can.
This will mark the end of Queen Marie Chapter 1 Stage 8 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive the rewards for completing the stage.
