Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 16
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 16 of Dress up Time Princess. Last time, you arrived at Tuileries Palace in Paris and instantly realized that the place is in terrible condition. It took some time to clean it up and make it habitable, but eventually, you settled in. Your life in this palace was very different from the one in Versailles. The Tuileries Palace couldn’t house all of the guards and servants, so the King decided to let some of them go back to their homes and released them from their service. After several days, you were visited by Count Marenzi. He is a minister from Austria who was tasked by Queen Theresa to watch over you and ensure that you are safe ever since you went to France. He informed you that the current Emperor of Austria, Leopold II, who is your older brother, tasked him with returning you back to Austria. Needless to say, you were shocked to hear that, and you were initially against the idea since leaving France would mean abandoning everyone you care about. After talking to Count Marenzi for a while, he decided to give you some time to think before giving him your final answer. Now is the time to continue where you left off. The stage window will display all of the relevant information. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.
In the next few days, you will think a lot about Count Marenzi’s proposition. While accepting it would certainly be reasonable and would allow you to lead a normal and peaceful life, you will still wonder if it is the right thing to do.
Your thoughts will suddenly be interrupted by the maid’s voice. She will inform you that there’s a guest waiting for you. You will assume it is Count Marenzi, and will quickly tell the maid to ask him to wait in the hall while you prepare.
For this occasion, you should pick the clothes and accessories with Elegant and Gentle tags.
Just as you were done dressing up, you will hear someone knocking on the door. You’ll assume it’s the maid and you’ll ask her to tell Count Marenzi to wait a bit longer. However, your assumption will be wrong this time, and you will hear a familiar voice talking from the other side of the door.
Suddenly, the door will open, and Blaisdell will enter the room. You will point out that he could be in great danger if the people find out he’s in the palace. He will smile and say he made sure it was safe before coming to see you.
He will look incredibly calm as if nothing’s changed at all. You will tell him you’re glad he’s okay. Blaisdell will quickly get to the point and suggest that you start planning the next step.
He’ll say that nothing lasts forever, neither victory nor defeat. You’ll assume he has some idea he wants to share with you. He will nod his head and say that Leopold II asked him to give you a letter. Unfortunately, he had to destroy the letter to prevent it from getting into the wrong hands, but thankfully, he memorized its content.
Blaisdell will narrate the letter to you. Your brother heard from Count Marenzi that you are in a very difficult position in France, which is why he decided to take action. He learned about the wave of liberalism spreading through France, and he is deeply worried for you.
He’ll admit that he is against the ideas of liberalism, which is why he was shocked to find out what happened to the King and you. He decided to commence diplomatic sanctions together with Prussia. He will reassure you that everything will be all right, and he will promise to keep both you and the King safe, no matter the cost.
You will be lost for words upon hearing the message. As it seems, both Austria and Prussia now have the perfect excuse to start the war and invade France. Things have gotten way more complicated than you initially expected.
You will ask Blaisdell if he was the one who told Leopold II that the King and you need rescuing. He will smile and say it was Marenzi who contacted him and asked for help. He’ll add that he’s only doing what’s necessary for the good of France.
You will get slightly frustrated at him for saying that. After all, he did this on his own, and at no point did he ask for permission from either you or the King.
Blaisdell will correct you and say that he did talk to the King regarding the matter before taking any action. You’ll be shocked to hear this. He will continue and say that Count Marenzi knew from the very beginning that you would refuse to leave France.
The two of them met after Marenzi’s discussion with you. During their conversation, he asked Blaisdell’s to help persuade the King. As it seems, the King agreed to Marenzi’s proposition quickly, and even asked everyone to keep it a secret from you.
Blaisdell will point out that the King has been devastated lately. His spirit was completely broken by the very people he fought for. Now, he feels as if there’s nothing else for him to live for, and he only wants to protect those that are close to him.
Blaisdell will hope that Austria will succeed at stopping the wave of liberalism, in which case the royal court will regain its former power. However, he will be sad that the King has no ambitions to rule anymore, and is only interested in living peacefully.
Still, as long as he remains the ruler of France, there is still hope that things might change for the better. But in order for that to happen, Blaisdell wants to ensure the safety of the King and the rest of the royal family.
You will notice a lot of conviction and determination in Blaisdell’s voice. You will realize he will do whatever it takes to fulfill his duty and ensure the survival of the royal family. He saw Count Marenzi’s proposition as the opportunity to achieve that goal, and he gladly took it.
You will tell Blaisdell you understand his concerns, and you know that he was only doing things for the good of France and the royal family. Still, you will say you wish he discussed things with you before taking action.
Blaisdell will simply ask if you would agree had he decided to ask you about it. After hesitating to give him an answer, he’ll tell you that everyone already knew you wouldn’t agree to Marenzi’s proposition. He’ll say he knows you are too kind to everyone, which can sometimes be very problematic.
He will point out that before making decisions, you need to think about all the people that would be affected by those decisions. Once again, you will be lost for words, and you will realize he is right about it. There are consequences to every action, and every decision you make will not only affect you, but a lot of other people close to you.
Still, despite him being right, you won’t be able to avoid feeling upset after what he said. You will ask him if he’s worried that you’ll hate him because of this. Blaisdell will calmly say that he wouldn’t mind having you hate him if that’s what it takes for him to fulfill his duty.
Despite everything he said, you won’t be able to hate him, because you will clearly see his side, and you will understand why he’s doing what he’s doing. You’ll point out that he is really one of the people who would stop at nothing to achieve their goals. Blaisdell will politely smile at you.
Eventually, you will realize there’s no point in arguing with him about it, so you’ll just accept the reality and ask if he has planned everything out. Blaisdell will explain that Leopold II is planning to impose sanctions unless the revolutionaries willingly decide to hand over their power to the King.
It won’t take you long to figure out that these sanctions are just another term for war. And that means that a lot of people will end up losing their lives. You will ask Blaisdell if there is any way to solve everything without resorting to violence.
He will nod and say it is possible, but a lot of it depends on you. If you are willing to give info on the French military and defenses to Leopold II, there might be a way to minimize casualties on both sides should a war occur.
Needless to say, this could also end up in a disaster, and you will ask Blaisdell if he’s out of his mind. He will sternly say it is a risk worth taking. You will have to show the initiative if you want to get help from Leopold II.
You will ask Blaisdell what was the point in asking you that question if he has already made up his mind about everything. He will say that they need someone to act as a courier. That person needs to be someone they can trust and someone Austria can trust too. Also, the courier needs to be capable and fearless.
Two people will suddenly come to mind – Fersen and Lafayette. Blaisdell will say he wants you to persuade one of them to help. You will tell him you simply cannot send either of them to that mission. The risk would be far too great, and if either of them gets caught, the consequences would be severe.
As it seems, you will have to decide soon. Otherwise, Blaisdell will make the decision for you. You will glare at him angrily, and you will know that you are helpless to do anything about it.
