Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 21 of Dress up Time Princess. Last time, you met with Fersen in the garden, and he informed you that there’s been a change of plans. Instead of fleeing the country together with the King, only Fersen and you left. You had a hard time accepting it at the start, but eventually, you agreed to the new plan. While you were leaving the country, you were intercepted by the revolutionaries, led by Marquis de Lafayette. Thankfully, he had the plan to let you escape without raising any suspicion. Unfortunately, because of this, Fersen ended up wounded, which made it harder to escape France. In the end, you managed to reach Sweden, and based on your choices, you unlocked some of the endings of the game. However, there is still a question of what would’ve happened had you chosen a different path. Now is the time to answer that question. The stage window will display the requirements, a short description, and the rewards. Hit Start once you’re ready to begin.
After getting rescued by d’Eon, he will take you to a deserted alley in Paris. Upon getting out of the carriage, you will hear the sounds coming from the tavern nearby. You’ll also be able to spot some drunk people lying on the ground.
You will quickly figure out that d’Eon wants you to lay low for a while. He will wave for you to follow him. Since it will be pretty late, most of the people inside will be passed out, and those still awake will be too busy partying to notice you.
In one corner, you will notice several soldiers, all passed out on the table… all except one. You will instantly recognize him as Marquis de Lafayette. He’ll sit quietly and drink his beer without paying much attention to anyone or anything. d’Eon will approach and greet him in his own way.
Lafayette will turn around, surprised to see Madame Beaumont, along with the King and you. Despite all the drinks he had, he will quickly sober up and politely bow before you. He’ll say he is glad to see you both alive and well.
You will notice a lot of regret in his eyes. He will look as if he failed to uphold his oath and keep you safe. d’Eon will break the uncomfortable silence and say that he’d love to exterminate all of the traitors who betrayed the King and you. He’ll look at the soldiers snoozing at the table, and you will notice a murderous intent in his eyes.
You will quickly recognize some of the soldiers as the ones who were escorting the King and you the other day. Lafayette will apologize and say that he simply couldn’t go against his comrades. After all, they only wanted to protect him. He will continue and say that he’ll accept any punishment you see fitting as soon as he manages to get you to safety.
The King will look at him and think for a while before telling Lafayette he cannot blame him for what happened. His men were loyal to him, and everything they did was to protect him.
Once again, Lafayette will bow and express his gratitude to Louis XVI. You’ll smile and agree with what the King just said. Unfortunately, d’Eon will be the only one who won’t share the same opinion. He will ask if there’s any reason for those soldiers to be in the inn.
Lafayette will calmly explain he didn’t get the opportunity to leave their side, and they simply followed him, wherever he went. Thankfully, they couldn’t keep their liquor, so you won’t need to worry about them for the time being.
You will think about the whole situation for a while before speaking up.
If you tell Lafayette he’s a general worthy of loyalty, you will smile at him and point that out to him. Picking up this option will grant you some Goodwill with Lafayette.
He will humbly reply he is not worthy of such praise, but you will simply say you are sharing your opinion with him. You will look at him with eyes full of admiration, and you’ll notice that he’s slightly uncomfortable about the things you said.
If you choose the second option, you will point out how difficult it must’ve been for him to deceive his men and order them to help you escape the country. You will apologize to him and thank him for being so loyal. Selecting this option will grant you some Goodwill with Lafayette.
He’ll calmly say it was his choice to help you, and he won’t be regretful of it. You’ll smile at him and pray for God to bless him. Lafayette will smile back at you and he’ll also pray for God to bless France and protect the royal family.
Shortly after, d’Eon will point out you should move someplace else before any of the soldiers wake up. You will ask him if there is any place that would be considered safe, especially since there are so many people looking for you.
Madame Beaumont will smile at you and say that there’s no need to worry. You will find his smile quite comforting, and you will be able to calm down. He will say that there’s a place near the tavern that should be fairly safe. Moments later, all of you will follow him there.
Once you arrive, you will be able to rest and warm up near the fireplace. Its warmth will help you relax and forget about all of the things that have been troubling you recently. Madame Beaumont will serve tea to everyone, and the King will ask Lafayette about the current situation in France.
The Marquis will tell him that the revolutionaries have been getting more support each day, and the situation is getting out of hand. They even asked Lafayette to lead them, but ultimately, he refused their proposal.
You will ask if he did so out of his loyalty to the royal family. However, that wasn’t the only reason. He noticed that France is sinking into a state of chaos, and it is no longer safe for anyone who opposes the beliefs of revolutionaries. That is one of the main reasons why Lafayette decided to reject their offer to lead them.
You will be shocked to hear that, and you’ll ask if there’s anything that can be done to stop the unrest. d’Eon will point out that only lunatics can deal with other lunatics. Unfortunately (or rather, fortunately), neither Lafayette nor Blaisdell fall into that category, which is why there’s little they can do about it.
Louis XVI will ask if Blaisdell is alive and well. Lafayette will tell him that the people assumed he was only following the orders from the royal family and decided not to trouble him. The King will be very relieved to hear that one of his most trusted ministers is safe and sound.
Unfortunately, Blaisdell decided to cut off any ties with Lafayette, and he hasn’t been able to hear from him ever since. d’Eon will point out he is likely furious about the fact that the soldiers who were tasked with protecting you decided to betray the King and you.
Lafayette will say that he decided to seek Madame Beaumont’s help since he couldn’t get in contact with Blaisdell anymore. Also, d’Eon is a highly skilled individual, which is another reason why Fersen and Lafayette contacted him for help.
Louis XVI will ask him about Fersen. Lafayette will inform him that they tried to get help from Austria or Sweden, but Count Marenzi advised them to seek help elsewhere. The reason for that was because he was afraid that the situation in France might affect the neighboring countries.
You will figure out it would be too big of a risk to seek political asylum in Austria or Sweden. The King will agree with you, saying he wouldn’t want any innocent people to suffer because of him.
All things considered, Lafayette will say that you are left with only one option – to seek political asylum in America. This will slightly surprise you, and you’ll look at him and think if going to America is your best option.
After all, America is very far away, and the journey there will more than likely be dangerous. On top of that, once you leave, your chances of ever returning to Europe would be slim at best.
Lafayette will remind you that he fought in the American Revolutionary War, which is why he is regarded as a hero in their eyes. Hopefully, that will be enough for them to grant political asylum for the royal family. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been enough time to contact President Washington, but Lafayette will be hopeful that he won’t turn you away.

Louis XVI will point out that Lafayette is risking everything to keep you safe. If the people find out that he aided the royal family in their escape, he will lose their trust and his reputation will be ruined. Lafayette will nod and say that he understands the situation. However, he considered everything very carefully before making this decision.
He will calmly say that he believes deeply in protecting the people and upholding freedom, but in a just and lawful manner. Sadly, the situation in France is very chaotic, but if it returns to normal, he would be more than willing to help the King return and build a truly free country.
You will ask if he considered the alternative and if he has any plans if the situation in France keeps worsening. You’ll point out that Count Marenzi can easily return to Austria, and Blaisdell is a capable man who knows how to take care of himself. You will admit that you are very worried about Fersen since he was the one who stood by your side on the balcony.
Lafayette will say that Fersen told him that he won’t go back to Sweden. He feels like a part of France, which is why he’ll stay there. Both of them promised each other to fulfill their goals, and he will ask the King and you to respect their wishes.
Everyone will be silent for a while. You will think about whether you should stop them or give them your blessing. d’Eon will notice that you are unsure what to do, and he will advise you on how to deal with the situation.
The King will consider everything, and after a few moments, he will turn to you and ask for your opinion. You’ll say that you would like them to know that if you ever get the chance to return to France, you would want them to welcome you at the border.
Lafayette will smile at you and promise to deliver your message to the others. Shortly after, you will start discussing the escape plan. Thankfully, d’Eon has already considered everything, and he has a solid plan that would hopefully deliver the King and you to America safely.
As it seems, Louis XVI and you will go with Lafayette while d’Eon heads to the border to arrange for a ship at the harbor. That way, your transportation will be ready once you arrive at the port, and hopefully, everything will go according to plan.
Lafayette will say that you should be leaving in an hour. In the meantime, he will want to go and deal with his men. d’Eon will ask the Marquis to let him do it. He will even promise not to hurt them.
After considering it for a moment, Lafayette will agree to his proposal and decide to prepare for the journey in the meantime. He will also advise you to eat something and do whatever you need to prepare. The King will nod and tell him not to worry about the two of you.
Shortly after, you will quickly clean up and dress up for the journey. This time, you should pick the clothes and accessories with Cooling and Perky tags.
Once you are done preparing for the journey, the King and you will enter the carriage, and leave Paris once again. Hopefully, this time you will be able to escape the country successfully. This will mark the end of Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 21 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive the rewards for completing the stage.
