Shadows of London Stage 1-12
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Shadows of London Stage 1-12 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous stage, you had another dream of the past. In the dream, you and your mother were locked in a cell with several other people. To make things worse, one of them looked very similar to the man who attacked you while you were in the Eastern District. After waking up, you noticed a strange red mark on your arm, on the place where the attacker grabbed you. Strangely enough, you didn’t feel anything, which made you worried slightly. Shortly after, Anna told you to prepare for the ball in Lindvall’s residence. You went there with your aunt, and you encountered both Edward and Vincent at the ball. You talked to them a bit about the whole epidemic situation and learned that Harolds Pharmacy was unable to discover any cure for the disease. Needless to say, the disease is far more dangerous than anyone thought, and all sorts of rumors started spreading around. Now is the time to continue where you left off. The stage window will display all the relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.
You will find it difficult to sleep after hearing all the rumors at the ball. You’ll end up turning around all night and only manage to fall asleep around dawn. You will wake up during the afternoon. You’ll quickly decide to get changed and meet your aunt for the afternoon tea.
Upon taking a look at your arm, you will notice that the red mark is still there. You’ll also see in the mirror that your eyes are bloodshot. You will instantly start wondering if you got afflicted by the disease. After thinking for a moment, you will figure out it is probably the result of bad sleep.
You will shake your head and quickly open the wardrobe to look for something suitable to wear. This time, you should pick clothes and accessories with Formal and Gentle tags.
You will notice a serious look on your aunt’s face once you arrive. You’ll figure out that she’s been waiting for you for quite some time, so you’ll quickly apologize for being late. She will tell you that even though she suspended etiquette lessons for the time being, you should still follow a lady’s code of conduct.
You will nod your head and promise to adjust your rest times. Madam Petit will point out that you’ve been sneaking out several times while she was absent. Given that she’s the one responsible for your safety, she will be curious to know where you’ve been.
You will tell her that you’ve only been going out to stroll through the park, or visit exhibitions. She will look directly into your eyes and ask if that really was the case. You will quickly look away and you’ll feel your heart racing. Your aunt will say that she knows there’s something you aren’t telling her.
You will quickly say that you haven’t been keeping anything from her. You’ll also tell her you followed her advice and didn’t go close to the Eastern District. Madam Petit will tell you to stop avoiding the topic and say if you’ve been seeing any of the two “middle class gentlemen” in secret.
You will be surprised to hear that, and you’ll quickly figure out she’s talking about Vincent and Edward. You will explain that they are friends of Mr. Erskine and Mr. Lindvall, which is why you didn’t want to avoid them. You’ll add that you’ve only met them at the opera house by chance.
You’ll notice a look of disappointment on Madam Petit’s face. She will say that she isn’t against you interacting with the middle class. However, she will advise you not to get too close to any middle-class gentleman if you wish to maintain a standard of living similar to the one at Canterville.
She will go on and explain that the middle class is dependent upon a flourishing city. As soon as the city gets in a state of crisis, the middle class becomes helpless. She’ll say that outside of the social season, most nobles stay in their countryside manors.
She will add that she wanted to match you with Jesse, so that you could have a chance of living a comfortable life. However, she’ll decide not to force you, in case you are not interested in him.
Madam Petit will say that she noticed you are interested in scholarly gentlemen, which is why she was thinking to arrange for you to visit Lord Windermere and get acquainted with his nephew, who graduated from Harrow School. She’ll tell you that their family owns a magnificent manor in Lancashire.
You will think for a moment and realize that your aunt never intended for you to stay in London. You’ll then be able to ask her about it, or simply oppose her arrangements.
Ask her whyIf you decide to be direct about it, you will ask her why you simply cannot stay in London. You’ll tell her that you want to have your own career and survive with your own skills. Your aunt will explain it is extremely difficult to be independent in London, especially if you aren’t fond of socializing. You will ask if you even have any choice in the matter.
Back to Previous ChoiceIf you decide to oppose your aunt’s arrangements, you will tell her you would like to decide your own future. You will even say that you don’t mind being poor if that’s what it takes to live your life the way you want.
Madam Petit will say that you are far too naive to think that. She’ll point out that you never really experienced what it is like to be poor. Still, you will tell her that you are not afraid to follow your own path.
Back to Previous ChoiceMadam Petit will sigh and say that you inherited your father’s stubbornness. Much like you, he also ignored all the advice. You will tell her that your father gave up his nobility for love, which in your eyes is worth every respect. Despite having to lead a life of poverty, he never regretted getting married to your mother.
Your aunt will sharply interrupt you and say that your father died because of your mother. You will quickly figure out she still blames her for what happened. You’ll point out that both of them died of illness, and she wasn’t the one to blame for that.
Madam Petit will say that your father gave up everything to be with your mother, and she even abandoned him. Your eyes will widen upon hearing that. She will go on and say that your relatives wanted to protect you, which is why they never told you the whole truth.
She’ll go on and say that thirteen years ago, your mother took you and disappeared without a word. Your father searched day and night to find the two of you, and he even went back to his family to ask them for help. You will find that hard to believe.
Madam Petit will say that she helped your father search for half a month, but sadly, they were unable to locate the two of you. After some time, your mother returned with you, but at that point, she was already very ill.
You will notice the sincere look on your aunt’s face, and you’ll realize she is more than likely telling the truth. Still, you will ask if everything she said is true. She will nod and say that she even has a letter your father prepared for Canterville manor.
She’ll say that the decisions your father made resulted in tragedy, and your grandfather grieved over the loss of his son for the rest of his days. Madam Petit will say that your grandfather didn’t want you to come to London, because he was afraid you would follow in your father’s footsteps. You’ll realize she’s worried for you, which is the reason why she wanted you to find a suitable marriage partner.
Shortly after, Anna will enter the room and say that the Countess’ carriage has arrived. Madam Petit will tell her to politely ask the Countess to wait a while. She will wipe the tears from her eyes and leave the tea room without saying a word.

You’ll sit in the greenhouse for a while and think about your aunt’s words. After some time, you will hear a familiar voice. You’ll turn around and spot Jesse standing behind you. He will notice that you are looking very gloomy, so he’ll offer to cheer you up.
You’ll be very surprised to see him. After all, you didn’t expect him to visit you. Jesse will explain that he didn’t have any chance to go out on his own, because of his father. However, once he learned that his sister is planning to visit Madam Petit, he used the opportunity to come along and see you again.
You’ll quickly figure out that the Countess is his sister. Jesse will tell you some things about her, and you’ll learn that unfortunately, she suffered many unhappy things in the marriage. He will then ask why you are sitting in the greenhouse all alone.
He will assume you are thinking about your crush. You’ll correct him and say you were thinking about your late parents. Jesse will apologize for asking a question. He’ll sit next to you and silently stare at the ground for a while.
You will thank him for offering comfort and say that you are feeling much better. He will wish he was able to take you out on a stroll. Unfortunately, his father ordered some of his men to keep an eye on Jesse, so he is unable to go out freely.
You will be curious to know why his father decided to restrict him so severely. Jesse will explain that it was all because of the rumors. Apparently, his father believes he joined some sort of mystic club.
You will ask him to tell you more about it. Jesse will go on and say that the club is supposedly a secret organization started by some of the young noblemen. He’ll add that one of his friends joined them, and ever since then, he’s been very nervous.
According to what he’s heard, the club is trying to carry out some kind of cleansing ritual to protect themselves from the epidemic. You will recall Vincent saying that all sorts of tricksters are trying to use the opportunity to make a profit.
You’ll also remember the vendor who was selling a “miracle cure” for the disease. You will ask Jesse if perhaps, his friend has fallen victim to tricksters. Jesse will admit he is worried, but unfortunately, his friend didn’t tell him much, and ever since he joined the club, he was very hard to find.
He will say that some people saw his friend near Petticoat Lane Market. Still, he hasn’t been able to go there and see if it’s true. You’ll remember Jesse saying there are a lot of underground clubs in the Eastern District. You will ask if he thinks any of those clubs were involved in creating the epidemic.
He will nod and say that he was thinking of the same thing. He’ll say that he’s been planning to investigate the club his friend joined, but he hasn’t had a chance to do so yet. He will ask you to wait a few days, until his father lets his guard down. Then, the two of you will be able to check out Petticoat Lane Market. You will smile at him and nod.
Once Jesse leaves, you will realize that he’s your first real friend in all of London. This will conclude Shadows of London Stage 1-12 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive rewards for completing the stage.
