Shadows of London Stage 1-16
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Shadows of London Stage 1-16 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous stage, you used the opportunity when Madam Petit went to Mr. Erskine to sneak out and look for Vincent. Thankfully, Jack agreed to take you to his residence, and he even promised to keep it a secret from Madam Petit. Unfortunately, once you arrived, you learned that Vincent doesn’t live at the address, and only uses it for his mail. The receptionist of the building told you he usually walks towards the east after collecting the mail. You did the same, and after looking around for a while, you stumbled upon the patch of greenery. You figured out it is probably an abandoned park, and you recognized the place from one of the poems in the “Wilderness”. You went there to look for Vincent, and luckily, you were able to find him. After talking to him for a bit, you decided to tell him the truth and inform him about the Scarlet Rose Club. He offered to help you during the ritual on the night of the full moon, but he asked you to tell him if you manage to find any new information. Now is the time to see what would’ve happened had you decided to seek Edward’s help instead. The task window will display the requirements, rewards, and a short description. Hit Start once you are ready to begin.
During the next few days, you will experience no other symptoms. Still, you will feel very uneasy as the night of the full moon approaches. Unfortunately, you won’t get any opportunity to sneak out and seek Doctor Grey, because your aunt will stay home to compile her new book.
Luckily, she will eventually decide to visit Mr. Erskine, so you will see it as a good chance to meet with Edward. Anna will come to check on you, since you were in your room past breakfast. She will ask if you are feeling unwell. You will tell her you might be ill.
She will decide to ask Doctor Hoffmann to come over to check you. You will shake your head and say that you want to consult with Doctor Grey. You’ll ask her if she knows where his clinic is. She will tell you to rest while she goes to ask around. You will thank her for being so kind.
Not long after breakfast, Anna will return with news. She will say she got Jack to ask Doctor Grey to come over, but sadly, he wasn’t at his clinic. The note on his door said that he was visiting the orphanage at Whitechapel. She will suggest asking Doctor Hoffmann to come over instead.
You will admit you aren’t comfortable with the idea of getting examined by unfamiliar doctors, so you will suggest having Jack send you to the orphanage. Anna will point out that Whitechapel isn’t a place for a lady. Still, you will be determined to consult with Edward, and you will reassure Anna that everything will be all right.
You’ll also ask her to prepare some snacks for the children. She will nod her head and do as you say. Before heading out, you will decide to change into a suitable outfit. This time, you should select clothes and accessories with Simple and Gentle tags.
Once you’re done dressing up, Jack will take you to Whitechapel. Upon arriving there, he will ask if you want him to wait for you. You’ll tell him there’s no need for that, since you want to discuss something with Doctor Grey.
Needless to say, Jack will misinterpret your words, and he will cheekily smile at you. He’ll tell you he understands you completely, and he will even promise not to tell anything to Madam Petit.
You will decide not to explain things any further, to avoid even more awkwardness. You’ll simply nod, and shortly after, Jack will drive the carriage away. You will then walk into the orphanage to look for Doctor Grey.
Thankfully, the kind receptionist will let you in without asking any questions. As soon as Edward sees you, you’ll notice the look of surprise on his face. You will apologize for intruding and say that you need his help.
You will ask for some of his time after he’s done with the consultations. Doctor Grey will smile at you and say there’s no need for you to be so formal. He’ll inform you that he’s done seeing patients, and he will gladly agree to talk to you.
You will tell him that several days ago you drank some sort of medicine, which resulted in you experiencing strange symptoms. You’ll go on and say that the symptoms disappeared the next day, but you still wanted to consult with him.
Edward will ask if you remember the name of the medicine you took. You will say that a friend gave it to you, to boost your health. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to tell him the name of the medicine. Doctor Grey will ask you to describe the symptoms you experienced. You will quickly answer his question.
He will be shocked to hear that. For a few moments, he won’t say anything. After that, he will assume that the “health booster” you took wasn’t any official medicine you can find in a pharmacy.
He will ask you to let him conduct a simple examination of your body, just to be safe. You will nod your head. Doctor Grey will take out a stethoscope, and motion for you to turn around. For some reason, you will feel nervous. Your heart will start racing, and your face will be all red.
Once he’s done with the stethoscope, Edward will check behind your ears, and your neck, and he’ll also examine your eyes. In the end, he will conclude there’s nothing wrong with your body. He will say that your face is probably pale because of exhaustion and worry. Also, you likely experienced the “thirst for blood” as a side effect of your fear of the disease.
You will ask him if he is sure about it. Doctor Grey will point out that the symptoms of the people infected by the disease are much worse than the ones you experienced. On top of that, all of them died within a few days, which is another sign you are not affected by the disease.
You will consider whether or not you should tell him about the Scarlet Rose Club. Edward will notice you are deep in thought, so he will ask you to tell him who gave you the medicine.
After hesitating to answer his question, Doctor Grey will ask if Jesse was the one who gave you the “health booster”. You will immediately say it wasn’t him. Edward will inform you that some young nobles recently joined a secret organization. He will say that Jesse is very curious about that club, which is why he asked you about him.
You will assure him Jesse doesn’t know anything about the medicine you took. You will consider whether you should tell him the whole truth or not. This choice could potentially have a major impact on the story.
Tell him the truthIf you decide to tell him the truth, you will inform Doctor Grey about the Scarlet Rose Club, and tell him about everything that happened recently. After thinking about it for a moment, he’ll scold you for risking your life and being too reckless.
He will advise you not to go to the club again. You will tell him you are afraid that the High God might be able to sense you, because you drank the “prayer water”, which connected you to his blood.
Edward will say that most of that stuff is probably made up to frighten you. He will add that some underground organizations often use fear to control people. You will say that the full moon ritual is likely an evil scheme, and you’ll wonder what will happen to the members that are devoted to the Baroness.

If you decide to say something vague, you will tell him that someone you know from etiquette class gave you the medicine. You will feel ashamed for not telling Edward the truth, and you’ll avoid looking him in the eyes. Selecting this option can potentially lead to one of the bad endings later on, based on some of the previous choices.
He will figure out that your friend is a member of that mysterious organization. He’ll also say that the medicine probably has some hallucinogenic properties. Drugs like that one can often be found on the black market, and certain bad people use them to control others.
Doctor Grey will advise you to stay away from your friend, at least for a while. Still, you will tell him you are worried about her, and you simply cannot sit idly and do nothing to help.
Back to Previous ChoiceEdward will warn you not to go against an organization so large on your own. If they are able to gather numerous young nobles and make them do whatever they want, they definitely are incredibly powerful and dangerous.
He will also say that the word about the organization is spreading out, and Scotland Yard is surely investigating the matter already. Doctor Grey will advise you to calmly wait for the right moment, instead of running headlong into danger.
You will admit that he is right about that. You’ll figure out it is probably hard for him to completely understand you, especially since he isn’t directly involved in the matter. He’ll notice that you are very worried, and his expression will change. He will kindly say that he knows you are very concerned about the epidemic, which is probably the reason why you got involved with the underground organization.
He will remind you that it is the police’s job to investigate criminal activity, while the doctors are the ones who should treat and prevent diseases. He’ll advise you to stay safe and have faith in the justice system. You will nod and thank him for his concern.
Doctor Grey will tell you he is heading to the Lindvall residence, and he’ll offer to send you back. He’ll ask you to wait for a bit while he goes to say goodbye to the children. You will hand him over a basket of snacks and ask him to distribute them.
Edward will gently smile at you and suggest that both of you distribute them together. He’ll be sure that the kids would be happy to see a kind and friendly lady. You will agree to his proposition, and shortly after, the two of you will go to say goodbye to the kids.
Later on, you will return to Madam Petit’s residence. This will mark the end of Shadows of London Stage 1-16. You will receive rewards for completing the stage.
