Shadows of London Stage 1-20
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Shadows of London Stage 1-20 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous stage, you were grounded for half a month, following the events at the cemetery. Still, you expected a much harsher punishment, so you were surprised when Madam Petit only grounded you for two weeks. During one morning, Bernard Erskine visited your aunt for a breakfast. You joined them and talked about the aftermath of the recent events. You learned there was no mention of vampires anywhere, and according to Mr. Erskine, the entire thing was a result of black magic gone wrong. Also, Vincent was nowhere to be found, so you assumed he went into hiding. Later on, you were visited by Jesse while your aunt was out. He gave you a copy of “Jane Eyre”, and the two of you discussed the recent events. You learned that he couldn’t get in contact with Edward lately, which made you slightly worried. You also learned that the social season should resume soon, and you will most likely meet Jesse again at the ball. Now is the time to continue the story. The stage window will display all the relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.
After a few days, things will return to normal. The newspapers will stop publishing articles on the epidemic, and the social season will continue. Still, you will wonder if the Baroness really was the mastermind behind the epidemic. After all, she told you she had nothing to do with it. On top of that, everyone she drank blood from either died on the spot, or turned into walking corpses, which was very much unlike the infected person you encounter in the Eastern District.
Thinking about all of that will remind you of the mark on your left hand. You’ll roll up your sleeve to check it, and much to your surprise, the mark will no longer be there.
A few moments later, your aunt will enter the room, saying she’s been knocking on your door for quite a while. You will apologize to her for not noticing it. She’ll figure out you are too bored at home, so she will inform you about the ball at Mr. Erskine’s residence.
You’ll ask if it means you are no longer grounded. Madam Petit will say she simply cannot keep you at home forever, lest you would despise her. You will shake your head and say you are fully aware she only wants what’s best for you.
She will smile and say you are much more dignified than Priscilla. You’ll ask her if your friend is all right. Madam Petit will tell you she visited the Barnet residence recently, and Priscilla was still the same as before. You will be incredibly glad to hear that.
Your aunt will ask you to change into a proper outfit for the ball. For this occasion, you should choose clothes and accessories with Grand and Elegant tags.
Once you arrive at the ball, you will notice that everyone is very cheerful and talkative. You won’t hear anyone mentioning the epidemic, and the overall atmosphere will be pretty positive. As soon as he sees you arrive, Jesse will happily greet you.
He’ll ask if you’ve read the book he gave you. You will apologize and say you haven’t had time to read it yet. He will chuckle and tell you to read it carefully as soon as possible, since it contains some important life decisions.
You will start looking around, trying to figure out if you can see Vincent or Edward anywhere. Unfortunately, neither of them will seem to be at the ball. Jesse will notice it and ask if you are looking for his friend. You’ll simply nod and say yes. He’ll admit he didn’t expect you’d be so eager to see Doctor Grey.
He’ll explain that Doctor Grey has been too busy with patients lately, which is why he has no spare time to attend any social events. You will smile and start praising Edward, but you won’t be able to find the fitting words to describe him.
Jesse will suggest some nice words you could use for that purpose. Still, you wanted to say “mysterious”, but simply couldn’t do that in front of him. You will talk some more about Doctor Grey before Jesse goes off to talk to other people. You’ll take a look around and spot Priscilla talking to some of the girls from etiquette class. Needless to say, you will find that rather unusual.
You will quickly walk towards her. Once you get close, you will hear those girls making fun of her for joining the Scarlet Rose Club. Priscilla will just stand there completely silent, and she won’t reply to any of them. You will remind them of some parts of “A Lady’s Code of Conduct” and say that no lady should ever be disrespectful to others.
One of them will say they are merely trying to advise Priscilla. You’ll recite the 8th rule of “A Lady’s Code of Conduct”, which states that one should simply smile and walk away if their conversation partner is silent.
Both of the girls will furiously gaze at you, but in the end, they will turn and leave. Priscilla will greet you and say that you haven’t changed at all. You’ll tell her you were worried about her ever since the two of you got separated at the cemetery.
You will ask her about your aunt’s visit to her home. Priscilla will say that her father wanted to send her to the countryside, but Madam Petit convinced him to let her stay. She even insisted to have her continue taking the etiquette lessons and start socializing again.
You’ll smile and say that your aunt really cares a lot about women. Priscilla will admit she didn’t talk back to those girls because she promised Madam Petit that she won’t be too impulsive anymore. You will point out that changing some things about her behavior isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Your friend will say that she hasn’t really changed that much. She’ll ask you to tell her what happened after the two of you got separated. You will tell her you ran into the woods while the Baroness wasn’t looking. Priscilla will ask you to tell her all the details.
You will say that you hid in the trees and waited for help to arrive. After a while, you heard a gunshot, and you couldn’t hear the Baroness anymore. You waited some more, and once you came out of hiding, you found out that the Baroness is dead.
Priscilla will say that the Baroness couldn’t be harmed by an ordinary gun. After all, both of you saw her getting shot before you got separated. She’ll ask if you saw the person who fired the gun. You’ll simply shake your head and say you didn’t. Your friend will assume it was probably a vampire hunter who shot the Baroness.
You’ll be unfamiliar with the term, so you will ask her about it. Priscilla will say that she looked through every possible book she could find on vampires, while she was grounded. Some of those books mentioned a vampire hunter organization that was established a few centuries ago. Its purpose is to train people to hunt vampires.
You’ll wonder if such an organization really exists. Priscilla will tell you that most vampire hunters conceal their identities, so that people wouldn’t find out who they are. She will assume that one of those vampire hunters is probably in London, since no ordinary human could kill a vampire so easily.
You’ll ask if she would be kind enough to let you borrow those books from her. Priscilla will smile and nod. She’ll ask if you think London is still in danger from vampires. You will think for a moment before answering her question.
Agree with herIf you choose to agree with her, you will say that the vampire threat is most likely not over yet. While the Baroness is dead, there may be some other vampires lurking within the city. Selecting this option will grant you some Goodwill with Priscilla.
On top of that, the epidemic is probably not over yet, which is another reason to be careful. Priscilla will say that she wasn’t the only one thinking about it. According to her, the two of you are likely the only people in London who know the truth.
Back to Previous ChoiceIf you decide to advise her not to think too much, you will say that the threat is over and there is no need for her to worry too much. She will be surprised that you believe all those official reports. You’ll point out there was no news of any infections lately.
Priscilla will say that you are far too naive if you believe that. Despite the fact that the Baroness is dead, there could be other vampires lurking in London. She’ll say that the vampire threat is far from over.
Back to Previous ChoiceYou’ll ask if she has something specific in mind. Priscilla will nod and say that she wants revenge for being deceived by the Baroness. She’ll tell you that she contacted a detective who agreed to help her investigate the truth.
She will ask if you would be willing to join them. You’ll be tempted by her offer, but after thinking things through, you’ll realize that accepting it could put Vincent in danger. Priscilla will notice that you are hesitating to answer her question, and she will look slightly disappointed.
In any case, she will decide not to push you. She’ll say she is fully aware of the danger, so it might be a good idea for you to stay at home after everything that happened. You will apologize to her, and shortly after, you’ll leave to talk to others.
Near the end of the ball, there will be a flash of lightning, and a sudden storm will force the guests to return to their homes. Mr. Erskine will start feeling unwell, and your aunt will decide to stay with him for a while. She will tell you to take a carriage home.
Jesse will approach and offer to take you back home. Madam Petit will like his idea, and shortly after, you will get into Jesse’s carriage. You will think about what Priscilla said earlier. Jesse will notice you are worried about something, so he’ll ask you to tell him what is troubling you. You’ll simply say that you’ve been feeling uneasy recently.
He will say you worry too much. He’ll admit that he would enjoy seeing you smile during his last few days in London. You’ll be surprised to hear that, so you’ll ask if he is really leaving the city. He will tell you he simply wants to spend some time in the countryside.
He’ll go on and tell you he isn’t too close to any of his friends, and he couldn’t believe how uncaring they are about death. You’ll nod and say that everyone is celebrating the fact they weren’t sacrificed, and almost no one is grieving the dead.
Jesse will shrug and say that everyone’s always praising him. However, if he were to die one day, the only ones who would really miss him would be Edward, his sister, and you. You’ll quickly tell him to stop talking nonsense.
He will laugh and say he was only joking. He’ll then tell you he is heading to the Eastern District, and he will ask you to keep it a secret from Madam Petit. You’ll be surprised that he is going there so late at night, especially during such bad weather.
Jesse will explain that Edward is seeing patients in Eastern District, so he wanted to send him home too. You’ll tell him how much you admire their friendship. Jesse will chuckle and say it is probably because he’s been relying on Edward’s medicine for years.
