Shadows of London Stage 1-22
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Shadows of London Stage 1-22 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous chapter, you attended Jesse’s funeral. You found out that not many people who knew him really cared about him. You met Edward at the funeral and talked to him about his late friend. He told you that he examined Jesse’s body and found out the symptoms similar to the ones on the people infected by the mysterious disease. Doctor Grey was convinced his friend got killed by a vampire. He also told you he suspects Vincent might be the one behind Jesse’s death, so he warned you to be careful around him. Later on, you noticed a figure moving behind nearby trees, so you decided to see who it is. After walking through the woods for a while, you found yourself at a dilapidated house, and you found out that Vincent was the one you were following. You talked to him and learned he is investigating the death of Jesse. He warned you that the Blood Clan is probably after you, and he advised you to leave London as soon as possible. Now is the time to continue where you left off. The stage window will display the requirements, rewards, and a short description. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.
Not long after Jesse’s death, the other noblemen will start dying, with similar symptoms. The social season will end suddenly, and the panic will start spreading again. Most of the nobles in the Western District will start making arrangements to go back to their countryside manors, including Madam Petit.
She’ll inform you that she already arranged for you to return to Hampshire. You’ll be surprised to hear that. Still, she will remind you that the epidemic is spreading rapidly, and there’s no time to waste. She’ll notice the look of hesitation on your face, so she’ll propose an alternative.
She will ask you to wait in Hampshire until she arranges everything. You’ll tell her how much you cared for Jesse, and leaving London isn’t something you want to do, especially since his death was highly suspicious. Your aunt will remind you that Jesse died of the disease, and she’ll wonder why you find his death suspicious.
On top of that, if anyone should investigate the circumstances surrounding his death, it should be his family. Still, you won’t be able to just give up, so you will ask your aunt to give you a chance to make your own choice and stay in London. Once again, she will remind you how dangerous it would be for you to stay.
You’ll decide to be direct, so you will ask her to tell you the truth behind your parents’ deaths. For a brief moment, your aunt will look confused, but she’ll quickly regain her composure. She will say that you very well know your parents died of tuberculosis.
You will say there is no need for her to keep it a secret from you anymore. You’ll tell her that you know your father killed your mother. Suddenly, Madam Petit’s eyes will widen in shock. She will want to know who told you that. You’ll simply point out that her reaction says it all, and you’ll ask if she was planning to keep it a secret forever.
She will hang her head, but despite all her efforts, she won’t be able to hide the truth anymore. After a while, she will say that she was keeping it a secret because she was afraid you wouldn’t be able to accept the truth. You’ll ask her to tell you everything, if she really cares about you.
Your aunt won’t be able to suppress her emotions, and you’ll notice her eyes getting wet with tears. She’ll say that you are very much like your father, since he looked exactly like you when he first brought your mother to her.
Madam Petit will wipe away the tears and try her best to regain her composure. She’ll say that your father went through unimaginable pain. Everything he did was out of love for you and your mother. She will go on and say that your father should be the one to tell you the whole story.
She will pull you to a bench in a hall before calling Anna to retrieve a sealed box from the top of a bookshelf. She’ll explain that she kept it for thirteen years, and never shown it to anyone until now. She will then hand you the box. Upon opening it, you will notice a manuscript with your father’s handwriting.
The first half of the manuscript will describe various daily occurrences following your birth, and your father’s love for you and your mother will be evident in the writing. As you continue reading, you’ll notice that the writing gets messier and vaguer, and you’ll even spot a number of tears on the manuscript. Eventually, you will get to a part describing your mother’s disappearance.
Once you are done reading the last page, you will spot a silver dagger in the box. You’ll carefully pick it up and examine it. It will look just like the one you saw your father hold in the dream.
Madam Petit will ask you to forgive your father for what he had to do. She’ll tell you he had no other choice, because your mother was at the point where she couldn’t control herself anymore, and she even attacked you.
You will almost tell her the reason why your mother couldn’t control herself, but the emotions will get the better of you, and the tears will prevent you from finishing the sentence. You’ll quickly figure out your aunt is not aware of your mother’s identity.
Your aunt will go on and say that thirteen years ago, on a chilly rainy night, your father knocked on her door. He quickly handed you over to a servant and then vanished into the night. Madam Petit panicked and sent servants to locate him, but all they were able to find were his belongings.
Upon hearing that, you will become very emotional. Your aunt will gently pat your back to help you calm down. She’ll say she wanted to keep your father’s death a secret from your grandfather, but after considering everything, she decided to tell him the truth. Sadly, she regretted the decision in the end, because informing your grandfather about his son’s death caused him a lot of pain.
Madam Petit will say that your grandfather decided to bring you up himself, and he even refused to let you go to London, after he found out the truth. She’ll admit she was unhappy with his decision at first. However, given the recent events, she will say she regrets bringing you to London.
She’ll place her palms on your shoulders, and with a trembling voice, ask you to promise to leave London. You will barely be able to think after learning the truth, so you will simply nod your head.
On the morning of the trip, you will gaze through the window, while holding your father’s manuscript. After a while, Anna will come to remind you that the train should be leaving soon, which is why you’ll need to get ready as soon as possible.
You will quickly decide to get changed for the trip. This time, you should wear clothes and accessories with Warm and Elegant tags.
Once you’re done changing, you will notice Anna leaning on the clothes stand and sobbing quietly. You’ll quickly ask her to tell you what’s wrong. After taking a moment to compose herself, she will say she is a little upset since you and your aunt will be leaving soon.
Upon hearing that, you will be overcome with emotions. You will tell Anna you’ll miss her too, and you’ll ask if she would like to see you off at the station, just like the day you came to London, when she was waiting for you. She will smile and say she’d be happy to do so. She’ll tell you that both she and Jack can send you to the station.
You will thank her from the bottom of your heart. You’ll then grab your things and head downstairs. Your luggage will pretty much be the same as the day you arrived, except for the manuscript and the dagger.
Surprisingly enough, Madam Petit will insist on seeing you off as well. On the way to the station, she will keep nagging you about maintaining a lady’s code of conduct after you return to the manor. She’ll also ask you to write her letters whenever you miss her. Once you reach the station, you will tearfully hug your aunt before getting on the train.
Most of the passengers in the cabins will look very gloomy. You’ll hear a newsboy yelling at the top of his voice on the platform. Some people will occasionally toss him a few pennies in exchange for a copy of the paper. You will quickly figure out that your aunt was right to send you back to the manor.

You’ll gaze out the window, clench your fist, and quietly make a decision. Despite all the warnings from your aunt, you will realize that you cannot live in ignorance. You’ll be fully aware of all the dangers you might face, but still, sitting idly isn’t something you’ll want to do.
In the end, you will pick up your luggage, run to the open door, and jump off the slowly moving train. Upon getting back to the streets, you will notice a lot of people heading towards the train station. You’ll figure out that most of them are getting away from the epidemic.
