Shadows of London Stage 1-3
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Shadows of London Stage 1-3 of Dress up Time Princess. Last time, you started taking etiquette lessons from your aunt. These were very new to you, and understandably, you had a slight problem getting accustomed to them. During one of the lessons, you met a strange girl called Priscilla Barnet. She was unlike most other ladies you met during the lessons, and you quickly learned that she doesn’t like being constrained by the rules. Other than that, Madam Petit informed you that you’ll soon make your first appearance in high society. Furthermore, she wants to introduce you to Jesse Lindvall, a son of a wealthy businessman. The stage window will display all the relevant information. Hit Start once you are ready to begin.
The day of the tea party will finally arrive, and your aunt will inform you that Mr. Bernard Erskine, who is London’s top publisher and her close business partner, has invited Jesse Lindvall to her tea party. You will remember hearing some rumors about that man during your stay at the Canterville manor.
Madam Petit will tell you that Jesse Lindvall is very popular. She’ll say that his father is a good friend of Mr. Erskine, while his sister often comes around for afternoon tea with your aunt. She’ll tell you there’s no need to be nervous around Jesse. However, you will have to mind your manners.
She’ll then tell you to get changed for the tea party. For this occasion, you should pick clothes and accessories with Warm and Elegant tags.
Once you dress up, you will proceed to the greenhouse. Upon arriving, you will notice many impeccably dressed ladies and gentlemen. One noble lady will ask if you are Madam Petit’s niece from Hampshire. You will politely nod and introduce yourself to her.
She will mention your father and say that you’ve grown up well. Upon asking if she knew him, she’ll say that they’ve met a few times during the social season. She will also say that nobody expected him to cut off ties with his family for love.
She’ll then ask you about your mother. Needless to say, you will feel uncomfortable by the question, but thankfully, Madam Petit will arrive and save you from answering it. She’ll greet the lady and ask if you’ve been behaving appropriately.
The lady will smile and say that she finds you incredibly adorable. Your aunt will give you a look and lead her away. You will quickly realize that she wants you to use the opportunity to find Jesse Lindvall.
You’ll take a look around and spot a young blonde man standing in the middle of a group. You will notice that he is very busy speaking with others, and you will find it difficult to fit in with the crowd.
Suddenly, you will get distracted by a hushed conversation near you. Two people will talk about a young girl who died from strange disease in Crow’s Nest. Apparently, she was found by a knocker-upper in the rubbish dump.
You’ll also hear that the girl had an improper job, which might be where she contracted the disease. Moments later, the pair will notice that you are eavesdropping on their conversation, so they’ll decide to leave.
You will wonder if you were really that obvious. Suddenly, an unknown gentleman will approach and say that you nearly had your ear against that lady’s back. He will figure out that you are interested in the strange disease spreading around. Furthermore, he will call you by your name.
You’ll be surprised that he knows who you are, so you’ll ask him about it. The man will introduce himself as Vincent Savile, a relatively unknown poet who was invited to the party thanks to Mr. Erskine. You will learn that he knows your aunt since she proudly mentioned you during a conversation with her publisher.
Vincent will say that he wanted to greet you, but you seemed busy. You won’t be sure if he is mocking you for eavesdropping or not, but regardless, you will politely reply to him.
You’ll decide to get rid of the man, so you’ll ask him to excuse you while you go and get some of the food your aunt creatively prepared. Before you get the chance to leave, he will point out that the food doesn’t really look very ‘creative’. You’ll take a look at one of the plates, realizing he’s right.
He will kindly ask you not to avoid him and he’ll say that he meant no offense. He only noticed that you are interested in the rumors about the disease. You will explain that you only recently arrived in London, which is why you don’t know much about the disease.
You’ll say that your aunt doesn’t worry about it much. You, on the other hand, are definitely worried that something bad could happen. There are two options to choose from.
I'm worried the disease will spread further. If you say that you are worried the disease might spread further, Vincent will point out that the disease often occurs in the slums, which is due to the poor conditions the people live in.
He will also point out that the number of people dying from the disease has increased recently, so there is no guarantee it can be stopped from spreading to other areas in London.
Back to Previous ChoiceIf you tell Vincent you are concerned about the situation in Eastern District, you will say that you know the living conditions there are terrible. Because of that, it’s no wonder that the disease is spreading so fast. Picking this option will earn you some Goodwill with Vincent.
He will say that disease often occurs in the slums, which might be the reason why not many people are paying attention to it. However, the number of deaths has increased recently, so there’s a possibility of other areas getting affected soon.
You’ll agree with him and add that high society shouldn’t ignore the situation just because they live in a clean environment. Vincent will nod and say that your words have much wisdom in them.

Moments later, Madam Petit will approach and say that she’s been looking for you. You’ll notice that she managed to lead the young blonde man to you. You’ll wonder if she overheard your conversation with Vincent, but fortunately, that won’t seem to be the case.
She’ll say that Mr. Lindvall is interested to hear about life in Hampshire, so she thought you would be kind enough to inform him. Jesse will politely introduce himself, and you will do the same. Thankfully, your introduction will be appropriate enough, which will be evident by your aunt’s smile.
Madam Petit will say that she has some matters to discuss with her publisher, so she’ll ask you to excuse her. She will ask Vincent to come with her and talk to Mr. Erskine about his new poems. You will instantly realize that she wants you to get to know Jesse.
Vincent will cheekily say that he hasn’t been inspired to write anything new recently. However, he will be interested to hear you talk about Hampshire. Not wanting to push the matter, your aunt will leave you and head back into the crowd.
Jesse will be impressed by Vincent’s courage to reject Madam Petit. He’ll then turn to you and ask if you want to talk about Hampshire, or if you prefer to discuss the disease. This will catch you by a surprise.
Vincent will be curious to hear his view on the disease. Jesse will calmly say that the tabloids are simply exaggerating the symptoms. He will describe them and point out that they sound like monsters from story books.
You will agree with him and add that the papers likely did that to increase their profit. You will ask if any of them knows how the disease spreads. Vincent will say that there was almost no interactions between the infected. Also, no one close to the people that died has shown any symptoms, which is another strange thing about the disease.
On top of that, the people died in less than three days since they got infected. You will be shocked to hear that. You’ll be curious to know how everything started in the first place. Jesse will say that those who died from the disease weren’t exactly good people.
You’ll tell him that the latest victim was a mother who abused her child. Jesse will say that anything is possible. After all, the slums are filled with all kinds of strange underground organizations, and the disease might even be a cover-up for crimes orchestrated by those people.
Vincent will notice that he knows a lot about the slums. Jesse will calmly reply that he occasionally goes to the Eastern District to purchase some unusual items, which is why he is familiar with the place.
You will ask if he’s heard anything about the disease during his trips. He’ll nod and say that he even heard rumors that are more exaggerated than the papers. Still, he will tell you that he doesn’t believe in any rumor, unless he is able to see it for himself.
Vincent will agree with him on that. However, he will advise him to be careful when visiting the Eastern District. Jesse will chuckle and thank him for his concern. He will say that he isn’t too afraid of the disease.
His cheerful laughter will attract everyone’s attention, and soon enough, the crowd will gather around you. You will have to change the topic, and you’ll spend the rest of the party chatting about boring things.
This will mark the end of Shadows of London Stage 1-3 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive rewards for completing the stage.
