Shadows of London Stage 1-4
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Shadows of London Stage 1-4 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous stage, you attended Madam Petit’s tea party during which you met an interesting poet named Vincent Saville. You talked to him about the disease that’s spreading around Eastern District. You also had the chance to meet Jesse Lindvall and learned that he occasionally visits Eastern District and is not too afraid of the disease. Now is the time to continue where you left off. The stage window will display the requirements, a short description, and rewards. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.
Once again, you will find yourself dreaming of the past. You will be in a place where you lived while you were five years old. You will notice your mother sitting by the bed. You’ll quickly realize that she is sick, and your father will be determined to find a way to save her.
He will tell her to hold on for a while longer. Unfortunately, your mother will be in very bad shape, and her coughs will get louder than before. She’ll open the bedside drawer and reach into it, but your father will ask her to stop and he’ll quickly shut the drawer.
You won’t be able to see what’s in it, but you will be able to notice a cold glint from the shadows. While holding your mother’s arms, your father will try his best to reassure her everything will be alright.
Moments later, you will wake up in your room. You will remember falling asleep without changing, after being exhausted by the tea party. You’ll find it impossible to sleep again, so you’ll decide to go for a stroll in the greenhouse.
Before leaving your room, you’ll quickly change your clothes. This time, you should pick clothes and accessories with Formal and Gentle tags.
Upon arriving at the greenhouse, you will figure out that everyone else is probably sleeping. You’ll slowly open the glass door, careful not to make any loud noise that might disturb someone. The greenhouse will seem incredibly quiet and peaceful.
Suddenly, you will hear a familiar voice coming from the fountain. You’ll quickly realize that your Aunt is talking to Bernard Erskine. You’ll slowly get closer to listen in on their conversation. It won’t take you long to figure out they are talking about you.
Mr. Erskine will try to explain to your aunt that taking you in was a bad idea. He will point out that you’ve lost not only your parents, but also your inheritance. In other words, you are a hot potato thrown to Madam Petit. Your aunt will tell him that money is not everything in this world.
She will add that you are a part of the family, and she could never abandon her brother’s daughter. Bernard will say that he’s almost jealous of him. Madam Petit will tell him that talking about her brother will only open some old wounds.
Mr. Erskine will point out that your father gave up his status and inheritance to live with a nameless actress. Not only that, but he also cut all ties with his family. He’ll question your aunt’s choice to take you in after all of that.
Madam Petit will calmly say she did it for her father. While he was very stubborn, he missed Cyril a lot, and it was easy for her to notice. That was one of the reasons why she wanted to take care of you and make sure you get a good future.
You will remember how lonely your grandfather looked back at Canterville, but you never knew the real reason why. You always thought he refused to talk about your father or let you visit London because he was angry at him. In fact, he was simply missing his son.
Bernard will be curious to know what she is planning to tell you if you ever ask her the truth about your parents’ deaths. You will be surprised to hear that. However, your aunt will simply say that your parents died of tuberculosis, and you are quite aware of that.
Mr. Erskine will smile at her and say that she doesn’t have to lie to him. He will add that he heard some things from a novelist he sponsored recently. According to what he’s heard, the disease affecting the Eastern District is very similar to the one that happened in Saint George ten years ago.
Your aunt will fail to see how that is related to her brother. Bernard will ask her if your parents really died from tuberculosis. He’ll point out that they lived in Saint George during the outbreak.
Madam Petit will politely ask him to keep his distance and stop poking around her family matters. In the end, he will back off and stop pressing the subject. Your aunt will decide to leave the greenhouse and get some rest.
Shortly after, both of them will leave the place, and luckily, they won’t notice you hiding nearby. You will start thinking about what Mr. Erskine said about your parents’ deaths. You’ll wonder if your aunt is hiding something from you. Still, without confronting her about it, you won’t be able to know for sure.
After thinking about it for a while, you will decide to head back to your room and get some sleep. As you start going back, one of your earrings will fall off on the ground. While retrieving it, you will notice a book lying nearby.
You will pick it up and read its title – Wilderness. You’ll open the book and realize it’s been written by Vincent Savile. You will flip to a random page and read some of its contents. This poetry will be unlike anything you’ve read before. You’ll also notice a strange illustration accompanying the poem.
You will find the scene very familiar. It will remind you of the lullaby your mother used to sing. You’ll recall some parts of the poem, which will sound very similar to the scene depicted in the book.
You will continue reading through the book and notice that it’s full of cryptic verses and dark themes. You’ll find it unlikely that your parents would ever read something so dark to you while you were little.
You’ll wonder how Vincent’s book ended up in the greenhouse. You will be curious if he accidentally dropped it during the day. In any case, you will decide to hold on to it and return it to him eventually.
Suddenly, you will hear something behind you. You will realize that someone else is in the greenhouse. You’ll think for a moment before deciding what to do.
Be bold and investigateIf you decide to be bold and investigate, you will slowly crouch down and gaze in the direction of the sound. You will snap off a small branch before you start moving. Choosing this option will gain you some Goodwill with Priscilla.
You will then speak up and say that the owners of the place are on good terms with Scotland Yard. You’ll warn the person who’s hiding to step out. After a brief moment of silence, you will hear the rustling of the branches again. You’ll also notice the movement in the nearby trees.
You’ll tightly grip the branch and slowly move closer. Suddenly, you will hear a cat meowing. You will relax for a moment, but then you will remember that the servants cleaned the place several times in preparation for the tea party. In other words, there was no way for a stray cat to get into the greenhouse.
Moments later, a shadow will dash out from behind a tree and move past you. You’ll loudly yell at the person to stop as you start chasing after the shadow. Shortly after, you’ll catch up and spot the familiar face – Priscilla Barnet. She’ll be impressed that you managed to catch up to her.
Needless to say, you will be very surprised to see her, and you’ll be curious to know what she is doing in the greenhouse in the middle of the night. Priscilla will calmly say that she’s looking for something she misplaced a few days ago.
You’ll point out that she picked an odd time to come looking for whatever it is she lost. She’ll smile at you and say that she likes life full of excitement. You will teasingly ask if she suddenly decided to join the “Meow Training Camp”.
Apparently, she won’t really like your teasing, and she’ll even threaten to tell your aunt. You won’t be sure whether to laugh or cry at her childish behavior.
Back to Previous ChoiceIf you decide to yell for help, you will figure out that the burglar might leave if you start yelling. You’ll run out of the greenhouse and yell at the top of your lungs, hoping that you’ll draw the attention of the servants. Selecting this option could lead to one of the bad endings later on (based on some of your other choices).
Suddenly, a hand will cover your mouth before you get the chance to finish the sentence. Not knowing what else to do, you will bite down hard on the hand. You will hear the person behind you crying in pain. The voice following the cry will be remarkably familiar.
The one holding you will ask you not to shout, and moments later, you will be set free. You’ll quickly turn around and notice a familiar face – Priscilla Barnet. You will be very surprised to see her and say that she scared you to death.
Priscilla will disagree with you, saying she was the one scared to death after you shouted and bit her hand. She’ll ask if you were only pretending to be shy during etiquette lessons. You’ll quickly point out that she was the one sneaking around.
She will calmly say she’s looking for something she misplaced a few days ago. Still, you will wonder why she decided to look for whatever it is she lost during the middle of the night.
Instead of answering your question, she will say that it’s none of your business. She’ll even make it clear that she doesn’t care if you tell your aunt about what happened.

You’ll tell her there’s no need to bother your aunt over such a trivial matter so late at night. You will say that she can take what she’s looking for and go. You’ll also say that you’ll turn a blind eye to what happened.
You will show Priscilla a book you found, hoping that she was looking for it. She’ll look surprised, and she’ll ask you about it. You’ll say you assumed that the book was the thing she misplaced. Priscilla will look away and ask if she looks like someone who would read such a book.
You’ll smile at her and nod. She’ll wink and say that you’re pretty perceptive. She will add that the book seems very interesting, but it’s not hers. She’ll look at the name on the cover and say that she doesn’t know who the author is.
You’ll inform her that you’ve met Vincent during the tea party, and you’ll describe him to her. Priscilla will ask if you think that his poems are dark and scary. You will honestly say that you think they are just hard to understand. In other words, there is a sense of mystery tied to them.
Priscilla will be surprised to hear that, and she will admit that she misjudged you. You will point out that both of you attended etiquette lessons for a while, so she should’ve noticed that you aren’t an ordinary lady.
Suddenly, you will hear barking outside the greenhouse. Priscilla will glance at the glass walls and say that she needs to leave immediately. You’ll notice that she looks very nervous. Before leaving, she will ask you not to tell anyone about meeting her.
You’ll tell her not to worry and ask if she can describe the item she misplaced, so that you can return it to her in case you manage to find it. Priscilla will calmly tell you to forget it. Moments later, she will leave the greenhouse.
This will conclude Shadows of London Stage 1-4 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive rewards for completing the stage.
What will you do about the book you found? Will you be able to locate Vincent and return it to him? Find out in the next stage. Thank you for reading.
