Shadows of London Stage 1-9
Complete Walkthrough
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Shadows of London Stage 1-9 of Dress up Time Princess. Last time, you had another dream of your parents, and you woke up covered in a cold sweat. You decided to confront your aunt and ask her about their deaths. Unfortunately, you were unable to learn anything. However, at the mere mention of your parents, you noticed Madam Petit’s hand trembling. Still, she insisted that they died of tuberculosis. Later on, you attended another etiquette lesson, during which your aunt brought a ragged doll and showed it to Priscilla. You immediately realized that the doll was the item she was looking for the night you found her in the greenhouse. Once the lesson was over, you talked to Priscilla and she told you that the Eastern District disease will soon spread all over London. She also said that the only way to protect yourself is by using ancient magic. Sadly, she didn’t say anything else, and you were left wondering about the meaning of the words she said. Before falling asleep, you made a decision to investigate the old church in the Eastern District in hope of finding the truth about your parents’ deaths. The stage window will display all the relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.
During the next few days, the weather will be very bad. Heavy rain and fog will envelop the whole town. Because of that, Madam Petit will decide to suspend all etiquette lessons for her students’ safety. Still, she will go out herself, to attend to matters regarding her new column. You will use that opportunity to sneak out and investigate the old church in Eastern District. Anna will notice that you are preparing to leave, and she’ll ask you about it.
You’ll quickly reply and say that you’re meeting a friend. She will remind you that it’s not safe to go outside, because of the weather. On top of that, the carriage is not available since Madam Petit decided to go out. You’ll nod your head and say that you’ll simply hire a carriage.
You’ll then start digging through your clothes to find something suitable to wear. Unfortunately, most of your clothes will draw too much attention, and you’ll fail to find anything suitable inside the wardrobe. Anna will ask if there’s anything she can do to help.
This will give you an interesting idea. You will ask Anna if it would be all right to borrow her clothes. The servant girl will give you confused look, but she’ll be okay with it. You will explain that you don’t want to stand out, which is why you need to wear simple clothes. You’ll also ask her not to tell anything to Madam Petit.
This time, you should wear clothes and accessories with Simple and Gentle tags.
The carriage will take you to the Eastern District, and luckily, the church will be relatively easy to find. Once you enter, you will notice a kind-looking priest standing in front of the altar, delivering a sermon. You’ll decide to look for a place to sit while you wait for the sermon to end.
You will move towards the last row of benches and spot someone familiar sitting there – Vincent Savile. You’ll call his name, but he won’t seem to hear you. He’ll just sit there silently with his eyes closes. You will be able to notice a trace of sadness on his face. Once the sermon ends, he will slowly open his eyes and notice you sitting nearby.
He’ll glance at your unusual outfit, surprised to see you wearing simple clothes. After thinking for a moment, you will tell him you wanted to visit the church to pray. Vincent will smile and say that you aren’t very good when it comes to lying. He will remember that Mr. Johnson mentioned the church while you were in the opera house, so it will be easy for him to put two and two together.
In the end, you will decide to tell him the truth. You’ll say you wanted to find out what happened to your parents, which is why you decided to investigate the church. You will also explain that your relatives said that your parents died of tuberculosis, but you are suspecting there is something they aren’t telling you.
Vincent will point out that simple answers are usually the hardest ones to accept, and he’ll say that you might be overthinking things. You’ll explain that your suspicion isn’t based solely on rumors. You will go on and say that you suspect the disease in Eastern District is likely the same one that broke out in Saint George over a decade ago.
You’ll add that your parents lived in Saint George around the time of the outbreak, which is why you wanted to see if you can find any clues. Vincent will admit that he is also investigating the disease, and he’ll say that it first appeared in Saint George thirteen years ago in autumn.
You’ll say that your parents passed away around that time. On top of that, the portrait of Desdemona was donated to the Ruby Opera House thirteen years ago as well. After adding things up, you will realize why your mother disappeared from the theater.
Vincent will remind you that everything could still be a coincidence. He will point out that your parents passed away a long time ago, and say that risking your safety investigating the matter could be incredibly dangerous.
You’ll tell him about your dreams and say that you aren’t sure if they’re just dreams or memories of the past. You’ll explain that during those dreams, your parents spoke in riddles, and your mother was behaving very oddly. Because of that, you’ll be determined to continue the investigation and uncover the truth about their deaths.
Vincent will be moved by your love for your parents, and he’ll admit that you are incredibly brave. Moments later, the priest will approach and invite both of you to join them for some snacks and hot tea.
Vincent will try telling him that he’s not a regular attendee, but the priest will say that anyone willing to come to church during bad weather is a good person. He’ll also mention that he saw Vincent sitting in the back row before, during his sermons.
In the end, both of you will accept his invitation and thank him for his hospitality. While drinking warm tea, you will hear the people chatting nearby. You will try asking around, but unfortunately, none of them will seem to know your parents.
As for the disease, most of them will have different opinions. Some will say that people have been dying since Christmas, others will mention that doctors aren’t doing anything to help the poor, and some will even say that the sick are turning into bloodthirsty vampires, hiding in the dark places and thirsting for blood.
All in all, the people will say things very similar to the rumors you’ve heard before. Without a doubt, some of them have been exaggerating things, but generally, many will be genuinely scared of the disease. While asking around, you will notice Vincent standing nearby in complete silence.
Not long after that, people will start leaving the church, so Vincent and you will head out as well. He will notice that you look slightly disappointed. You’ll admit you were naïve to think that you could get any real clues just by visiting Eastern District. Vincent will point out that you only scratched the surface. You’ll recall him saying that the Eastern District is completely different at night, so you’ll be curious to know how he got so familiar with the place.
He’ll calmly explain that he visited Eastern District on numerous occasions to investigate the source of the epidemic. You will then decide to ask him a question. There are two options to choose from.
Why are you bent on investigating the epidemic? If you ask Vincent about the reason why he is investigating the epidemic, he will chuckle for a moment before providing an explanation. Selecting this option will grant you some Goodwill with him.
He won’t go into details, but he’ll simply say that he has his own reasons for wanting to investigate the epidemic. You’ll bluntly ask him to tell you more, but sadly, he won’t be ready to open up.
Back to Previous ChoiceIf you ask Vincent if he’s afraid of running into danger, he will calmly say that he has to explore all avenues to figure out what’s going on. He will say he is fully aware that doing so is incredibly risky, but the citizens of Eastern District have it much worse.

While heading back from the church, Vincent will offer to show you a shortcut to the main street. On your way there, heavy rain will start pouring down, so he will tell you to wait for him while he goes to fetch a carriage.
You will suggest looking for a shelter, but Vincent will point out there’s no telling when the rain might stop, which is why you should get back home as soon as possible. He’ll tell you not to worry, and he will quickly rush towards the main street.
You will seek shelter under a low roof while waiting for him to come back. There will be puddles of water all around you, and you’ll even be able to hear mice squeaking occasionally. On top of that, the trash piled up by the nearby wall will give off a dreadful stench. Needless to say, you won’t really feel comfortable standing there. After a while, you will finally hear the sound of approaching footsteps.
Unfortunately, the person appearing in front of you won’t be the one you’re waiting for. You will take a look at the man and notice he is wearing ragged and worn clothes. He will stare at you with sinister eyes, and you will start getting chills just by looking at him. You’ll offer to give him your spot in case he needs shelter from the rain.
Instead of replying, the man will slowly move towards you. You will assume he is drunk, so you’ll consider running away. However, with each backward step you take, the man will follow you. You will try to warn him to stay away from you, but he will still keep moving forward.
Once he gets closer to one of the street lamps, he’ll suddenly open his mouth, and you will notice the blood-red gums and blood-shot eyes. On top of that, his festering skin will also become visible, and you’ll quickly realize he is infected with the disease.
He’ll then lunge at you and grab your arm. You will instantly start screaming and somehow, you will manage to break free. You’ll run into a nearby alley as fast as you can. Unfortunately, you will slip and fall onto the muddy ground. As you try to get up, you will feel a sharp pain in your ankle.
You will notice the man slowly approaching you. As he gets close, you will hear him muttering the word “blood”. Unable to move, you will scream for help as loud as you can.
Not knowing what else to do, you will close your eyes in terror. Suddenly, you will hear a sharp sound and then a heavy thud. You’ll slowly open your eyes and notice that the man is nowhere to be seen. A familiar voice will call your name. Upon looking up, you’ll see Vincent standing nearby.
You’ll ask him about the man. He will calmly tell you that he knocked the attacker out. You will point out the details about his condition. Decaying skin, thirsting for blood, losing his senses… everything will match the rumors you’ve heard. You will wonder if the infected people really turn into vampires.
Vincent will ask you to calm down and explain that craving blood doesn’t make someone a vampire. He’ll say that he checked the man’s neck and didn’t see any puncture marks on it. Also, his teeth were normal human teeth, which means that he’s definitely not a vampire.
All that information will confuse you, so you’ll ask Vincent to explain it. He’ll notice that you know nothing about vampires, so he’ll decide to tell you about them. He will say that vampires were first mentioned in the records of mystics over a thousand years ago. He’ll go on and add that they bite the necks of their victims with sharp fangs, and drink their blood in the process.
Vincent will explain that the man who attacked you didn’t have sharp fangs or bite marks on his neck, which means he’s not a vampire. Needless to say, it will be very difficult for you to process all that information.
After a moment, you will ask Vincent about the man who attacked you. He’ll tell you to wait for him while he goes to check. This time, you will decide to go with him. After going down the alley, you will realize that the man is no longer there.
This will conclude Shadows of London Stage 1-9 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive rewards for completing the stage.
