swan lake stage 14
Complete Walkthrough
Welcome guys to our full guide for Dress up! Time Princess. Swan Lake stage 1 – 14 walkthrough will take us through this part of the story, following Princess Signy and the others are right at the thick of it and the book slowly approaches its crescendo now. Also, we will include our clothing item choices for the stage, including short tips on how to obtain recipes or items.
Thus far, the story has taken some unexpected turns. As Signy initially intended to kill the Owl Sorcerer, Audwin, she instead spared his life and in the process has learned something about him. She has somewhat gotten closer to him and the reason he is who he is.
It was especially revealing in the previous stage 1-13, where Audwin told Signy a story about a “hypothetical” prince from a faraway kingdom, who was locked away at birth in a tower. He couldn’t even see the sky or any other person, and even if he could, the tower was on a desert island.
It wasn’t until the child turned 7 that he got his first visitor, a powerful wizard who taught the child powerful magic through a keyhole. Later on, when the kingdom that incarcerated this child, collapsed, the kid was free to walk the lands and look upon the ruin of his captors.
He decided then and there he was going to devote his life to destruction and evil. While Audwin never makes a point that the child from the story is him, Signy guesses as much and she tries to give him some comfort and explain how not all life is to be hated and destroyed. Her words fall on deaf ears, as Audwin insists that they go through with the wedding.
Just a reminder, Signy agreed to marry Audwin just to save her kingdom and Aldous, her friend, the swan prince, from Audwin’s curses. Now, Aldous also revealed a bit about himself in the past stage. He also told Signy his childhood story which was, as Signy noted, a complete opposite from Audwin’s.
Aldous was mischievous as a child, but only to make his parents pay more attention to him and take him with them when they would otherwise leave on their own to trips and vacations. He would hide in trees until his parents would search the entire castle and their estate, just to find him in the end and promise to take him with them.
Signy and Aldous were talking about Aldous’ childhood in a banquet uncle Arthur, the Chief Minister, threw as a courtesy due to Signy’s upcoming, although unwanted, wedding. This brought back many of the old characters from before, like the prince’s Ambrose, Honore, and Hermann, who again managed to turn everything into a competition.
The last stage ended mid-ceremony and the banquet is still on. In this next stage 1 – 14, we shall see what awaits our heroes. Is Signy going to go through with it or will she find a way to avoid this disaster? Before we begin, we will prepare for the stage appropriately…
Stage 1 – 14 requires Aldous Goodwill Lv. 6, which is a bit high. So far in the story, he’s probably at Lv. 5 for most players. Now, for Aldous, as before, the best go-to gift is the Silver Saddle, made from Fabric & Metal. It awards 90 Goodwill points, so we need quite a few (around 40+) to get him from Lv. 5 to Lv. 6.
After we got all the requirements and suggested items from the stage hint, it is time to see what Signy will do next to stop her unwanted wedding to Audwin.
The last stage (1-13) left off in the middle of Signy’s upcoming wedding banquet. There were many visitors, all wanting to talk to her, some congratulating, another fighting over her again (the princes of course, and so on. Signy was in no mood for a celebration and just wanted to escape.. And, so she did…
She realizes that this is her last night of freedom. Right at that moment, this stage’s dress up phase is due. It would appear that she has something else entirely in mind, rather than spending it with the crowd gathered.
Outfit Tips for this stage suggest Simple and Cooling clothing items and so we shall set our filter for those. We will be using all of the clothing items from the stage hint, that we crafted for this one, including the Beautiful Afternoon hair, Shepherd’s Song bracelet, and so on…
For our first slot in the head portion of the outfit, we use the Emerald Veil gown from the Magic Lamp storyline. It has the perfect traits we need and it can go along with the hairstyle needed for this stage. The blueprint is obtained after reaching Chapur Goodwill Lv. 2 in the Magic Lamp storyline and it comes at 3 stars, giving us 302 in both Cooling and Simple.
As mentioned, the gown we selected goes along with the hairstyle suggested for this stage, which is the Beautiful Afternoon. The blueprint is obtained from Stage 1-13 after having a perfect score and it comes at 3 stars. This hairstyle awards us 341 in both Simple and Cooling.
However, there is a bug in the game that many players have reported where the Emerald Veil bow and the Beautiful Afternoon hairdo cannot be worn together, even though the stage requires it. This is an in-game bug and you should write a ticket if you are having this problem. You can find the Help section when you tap on your avatar and then find the Submit Ticket option.
For our glasses, we will use the Cateye Shades. It is a special item, randomly obtained from a Magic Gift. We have ours maxed out at 6 stars and it gives us 728 in Simple for our current outfit needs.
The Secret Garden dress is suggested that we use here. It is a commonly used item throughout the entire Swan Lake story, usually worn by Signy when she ventures out into the woods. Its blueprint is obtained early on from having a perfect score in stages 1-4. We have it at 4 stars and it awards us 754 in both Simple and Cooling.
For our shoes, we will use the Oasis Escape that matches the dress. These are another common Swan Lake item, used by Signy when she goes into the woods. The blueprint is obtained from the stage 1-2. These are currently at 3 stars and will give us 303 in both Simple and Cooling.
These Village Socks are also from Signy’s outdoors set, matching the shoes and the dress we now use. They are obtained from Encounters with Audwin during the story and are frequently used in other recipes. However, we only have them at 2 stars so far, and they will give us 135 in both Simple and Cooling.
For our first accessory, we shall use the Starlit Flowers necklace, suggested in the stage hint. It fits this outfit needs perfectly and the blueprint for it appears randomly on the Parven’s Shop rotation. These are at a solid 4-star rank and will award us with 336 in both Simple and Cooling.
For our earrings, we shall use another Magic Lamp idem in this outfit combination. The Lovesick Lament fit our needs perfectly and the blueprint is awarded from perfectly scoring the Magic Lamp stage 1-12. They are at 4 stars currently and give us 336 in both Cooling and Simple.
We will use the suggested bracers for the stage. Flower Fields armbands are at 4 stars currently and give us 420 in both Simple and Cooling. The blueprint for these is also randomly on the Parven’s Shop, so keep an eye out for the rotation.
The stage hint also suggested this Shepherd’s Song ring, which we will use. We obtained the blueprint from Parven’s Shop and crafted it for this occasion. It comes with 4 stars and gives us 308 in both Simple and Cooling.
For our handheld slot, we will use the Woodland Picnic basket, that matches Signy’s outdoor set. This item is awarded after you reach Aldous Goodwill Lv. 2 in the Swan Lake storyline and it comes at 3 stars. It will give us 302 in both Simple and Cooling.
We suggest that you use any cat that can give you the highest possible score to either Simple or Cooling or both would be perfect. We only have this Lv. 5 pet that will give us 162 to Simple for this occasion.
Lastly, we will use the Cryolite Bracer relic, without which this stage is virtually impossible to score perfectly. It is a relic you obtain from raising the Goodwill level with Light, a character from the Magic Lamp story. It has the Cooling and Simple traits and it adds a percentage to the base score of all clothing with these traits, depending on the level.
We got the Perfect Score with 11060 in total points, the majority thanks to the Cryolite Bracer relic which contributed with a total of 1896 points. Now, let’s see what Signy is up to on her last night of freedom, as she called it.
Signy runs into the well-known castle guard, who says he’s been seeing her often this late lately. The guard reminds her that there is a huge celebration in the castle today and is curious if she thinks it is alright to sneak out like this.
Signy tells him that she is nobody important at this moment and that her presence won’t be missed. The guard notices that she looks troubled. He asks if something happened and offers to be her listening ear. Signy thanks him but tells him that there is no help for her now…
The guard is sorry that he is of no help to her, but Signy quickly dismisses it, saying that if it weren’t for him, she wouldn’t have been able to leave the castle so easily, which she had done so many times in the past.
The guard reminds her that it is really late and that she should better not stay out for too long. He says that the kingdom is rather unsafe lately, with all the problems. Signy confirms that she is aware of this and thinks to herself how, in the past, she always used to leave the palace to visit the forest, which brought her joy and fun, while now it is different.
Now, she sees the forest with different eyes. It is Audwin’s home. However, confident enough, Signy goes to the forest, under the moonlight. The quiet path puts her at ease, but she does not wander towards the forest too much and instead paces back and forth along the path that leads there. She wishes that this night would never end.
Signy hears a sound in the forest dark and has a bad feeling about it. She is now some distance away from the castle gates and thinks that it is maybe wise to hide. And, at this point, we get to the branching path in this stage. The choices for Signy are to hide in the grass or hide in the tree. We will go through both of these in our walkthrough so please find them below.
Hide in the grassThe Choice to hide in the grass
Signy darts into the grass and curls into a ball to hide as best as she can. After a short while, she hears some hushed voice speaking: “Idiot! Hold your sword properly of the guards will discover us!” The voice continues:
Judging by what they are saying, the unknown voices Signy hears are most likely soldiers from another kingdom. One of them also says that he has heard that the King of this land is about to keel over any minute and that this is the reason “they” are in a haste to marry off the princess” They mean SIgny of course…
The other soldier makes a note of how auspicious this time is for them to infiltrate the castle. Signy is now dead scared. Is this perhaps an army attack? However, she recognizes one of the voices…
It’s Ferdinand… And, worse even, he seems to be aware that someone is here, listening. He finds Signy quickly… Signy calls him out by name “It’s prince Ferdinand!”
Ferdinand also greets her with obvious ill intent. He tells her that she is not as bright as he imagined, unfortunately. Short grass doesn’t hide her very well. Signy asks him if he is trying to attack the palace. She tells him she did not expect such treachery from him.
Ferdinand shows his true face to Signy and claims that he is destined for power, implying he intends to step on all who he deems weaker than him. And, he tells SIgny that she and everybody else are just stepping stones to his success.
Signy calls him out on his words, explaining that if he is so strong, he should openly declare war. One of the other soldiers calls Signy naïve indeed and Ferdinand laughs. They take Signy hostage and launch a sudden attack on the palace the very next day.
Signy was right to suspect an army sneak attack. The kingdom was caught unprepared and the invading force also had Signy as a bargaining chip. Her father, fearing for the safety of his daughter, was unable to fight against the invaders. Soon after, King Edward XII dies.
The moral of the story is simple, hide better when you have to. At least the moral of this path we chose. We will now go back to the branching point and choose the other option, to hide in the tree.
Back to Previous ChoiceThe choice to hide in the tree
With this choice, Signy concludes that short grass is not a good place to hide and instead looks for a suitable tree to climb onto. She remembers Aldous and thinks she should do the same as him. She quickly climbs up a tree and hides in the dense leaves and branches. Soon, she sees someone walking under it.
She hears a stern voice reprimanding someone else for the way he or she is holding a sword. They seem to be attempting to stay hidden from the guards, presumably Signy’s castle guards. The voice also says that they have nothing to be afraid of since their kingdom is the mightiest and that this kingdom they are in currently is at a disadvantage to a head-on attack from any army.
Signy naturally fears that this is an invading force from another ill-intended kingdom. She hears what the voice is saying further. The male voice says that he has heard that the king of this kingdom is about to keel over any minute and that it is the reason they are in a rush to marry off the princess. With so many visitors from other kingdoms, the castle is certainly on low guard right now, the voice continues.
Signy fears this may be an army attack and she can finally see one of the soldiers clearly… worse even, she recognizes him… It is Ferdinand…
It would appear that Ferdinand’s army is about to attack Signy’s kingdom. Signy recognizes him and listens to him some more. He instructs his soldiers to sheathe their swords and get back to their camp so that they won’t ruin his plan. The soldiers call him “your Highness” and reassure Ferdinand that their plan is foolproof. They say that taking down the castle will be a piece of cake.
It would appear that Ferdinand and his army are planning a surprise attack during the wedding tomorrow. Ferdinand laughs as he says that both the castle and Princess Signy will be his. Signy assumes that their camp is nearby since they plan a sudden attack so soon. The outcome would be devastating indeed.
Signy would like nothing better than to blast all the anger she is feeling right now right at Ferdinand, but she must suppress it. Once they leave, she must get down and return to warn the castle. And, so she does. She returns, ends the celebrations early, and summons the Chief Minister at once and tells him exactly what she saw and heard.
The chief minister, Signy’s uncle, asks Signy if she is sure of what she heard and is saying to him. Signy replies that she is. She tells him she spotted his soldiers just outside the castle earlier and tells him of the conversation she overheard.
Signy is also concerned with her father. His health has just stopped declining a bit, and now she doesn’t want to bring him such dire news. Her uncle agrees. Arthur says that his Majesty needs his rest and that it is no longer ideal for him to handle any more state affairs.
The chief minister points out the severity of the situation and how they cannot count on King Edward XII to be in charge of the situation, due to his fragile condition. Signy thinks how her uncle is usually calm and that this is the first time she is seeing him anxious, which is making her feel more and more uneasy.
It seems that the kingdom is also understaffed, as many of their soldiers, most of them, are not here. They were focusing on the sorcerer threat and were not expecting an attack like this. Arthur states that they simply do not have the manpower to defend the castle from this upcoming attack by Ferdinand’s forces.
Recoiling soldiers from the borders of the kingdom takes time, and according to Signy, Ferdinand’s attack is due tomorrow. Signy also states that the Kingdom of Glorious, Ferdinand’s home, boasts powerful fighters and that in their current condition, they stand no chance of winning a battle against them.
Signy suggests diplomacy as a possible solution, but Arthur points out that she said their plan was foolproof and that it was in motion for a long time. Attempting to negotiate now would only alert them and worsen things.
Also, knowing Ferdinand, Arthur guesses that he wouldn’t be interested in talking anyway. Signy remembers how she thought that all the things she was learning would be enough to enable her to take care of her kingdom, but she now realizes what a tough endeavor that can be at times.
She feels lost now faced with seemingly inevitable destruction and is overwhelmed with a sense of failure. She asks her uncle if there really is no way out of this. However, Arthur advises her to calm down. It is not necessarily true that things are hopeless.
Even though they are at a disadvantage, Arthur replies, they should still do their best to prepare. Signy remembers that Ferdinand said their attack is planned to start during the wedding. She is curious if they can be prepared in time. Arthur says that he will get some of their most loyal guards to set up an ambush on the day of the wedding.
The primary thing is to protect the royal family, which they can do. But, Signy tells Arthur to please focus on protecting her father primarily. She offers to stay and protect the castle, but Arthur reminds her that it is his duty to protect her as well, as the heir to the throne. She needs to be safe to ensure the survival of their kingdom.
Arthur is also bound by a promise to take care of Signy. She says she understands and is grateful to her uncle. He always does his best to aid the King, she also notes. Signy tells him that he indeed treats her like his own child, and he again notes that it is his duty.
However, Arthur is not overly optimistic and advises that they prepare for the worst. If on the day of the attack, they cannot stop the enemy attack, Signy must be ready to head to the forest with the sorcerer, who in these desperate times, can be her protection.
Arthur makes a fair note that the sorcerer can be heard salvation, while Signy hopes that such a time doesn’t come. After they finish their discussion, they gather their most loyal men and inform them of the situation and their plan for the upcoming attack.
After that, Signy goes back to her chambers to talk to Aldous, who welcomes her with a smile, unaware of the grim fate that may be coming for them. Aldous tells her that it will be dawn soon and that he will turn into a swan in a short while.
Signy thinks how this might be the last time she sees Aldous as a human. She decides to get to the point and just tell him that there will be a battle tomorrow, most likely. She tells him it’s Prince Ferdinand and his army from the kingdom of Glorion and that they plan a surprise attack during the wedding.
Signy admits to Aldous that currently, they don’t have the power needed to go up against the invading army. She asks him if he can advise her on what to do to protect her kingdom? She notices how Aldous is much calmer than she is, as the words spill out of her.
Aldous is also more optimistic. Signy admits she is completely out of ideas now as, even if they somehow manage to deal with Ferdinand and his attack was thwarted, she would still have the unwanted marriage coming. She asks him how everything could go so wrong?
Aldous tells her that he will make sure that marriage never comes. At that moment, the first rays of the morning sunshine into the room and Aldous starts turning into a swan. The wings first appear on his back and his smile slowly fades away. He had something more to say to her, but he is no longer able to.
This is the end Dress Up! Time Princess Swan Lake stage 1-14. Walkthrough for the next stage can be found on the navigation bar on the top of the page.
