swan lake stage 3
Complete Walkthrough
Good day, and welcome to our Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake walkthrough for Chapter 1, stage 3. This story follows Princess Signy on her adventure of becoming a queen. In the first stage, we’ve met her faithful tutor, Ms. Roslin, but in the previous stage 1-2, we’ve met King Edward XII and the Chief Minister of the Kingdom.
Furthermore, we’ve found out that the Chief Minister’s name is Arthur, and that he is Signy’s uncle. We’ve seen some and felt how deep their family ties just go, as the king was weeping for having to speed up Signy’s coming of age ceremony. This is because it means she is to become a woman soon and get married.
After a fiery debate between Uncle Arthur and King Edward, Signy has stepped up and claimed her responsibility, which includes greeting all of the princes and the guests that are already arriving ahead of time for the ceremony. This is because she has to get to know them, for one of the princes is her potential husband.
Stage 1-3 of Swan Lake now sees how Signy deals with the emotions and the implications of what she agreed to herself after all the fuss has passed and she left the king and her uncle. She went to the forest again, to the lake, where she will meet a mysterious “swan friend” and tell him of the troubles that befell her…
This stage 1-3 requires Simple and Cooling clothing items, as well as Goodwill level 2 with Aldous. If you haven’t reached it yet, you can easily reach level 2 by simple touch interactions, a few will do. The stage hint also recommends Village Sock, Oasis Escape, and Woodland Picnic items, but it is alright if you don’t have those, you will get them later on.
As mentioned, after Signy finished her talk with the King and the chief minister, she is now returning to her chambers. She is only now free to absorb and process everything that is happening to her, that is about to happen. Roslin has waited for her for a long time, eager to hear what was the reason her father summoned her to talk about as if she doesn’t know.
Roslin asks Signy what’s wrong, obviously seeing she’s distressed. Signy doesn’t mince words. She spits it out immediately and tells her tutor that she is to be engaged immediately after her coming-of-age ceremony. Signy says she is to choose her husband out of the new arrivals to their castle.
She admits to Roslin that she cannot refuse this in any capacity and that she realizes her responsibility, however it pains her. Signy does, however, continue to say that she personally thinks such a thing is absurd, as she tries to mentally prepare for the events. Finally, she admits to Roslin that she is very sad…
Roslin can’t do anything but feel sad herself for everything they both assumed was about to happen. If both the King and the chief minister have agreed to it, Roslin adds, then everything that they said was about to happen will happen.
Signy understands and simply wants to go anywhere and clear her thoughts. As she was on her way back to her chambers, Signy has seen that the preparations have even begun, which was an additional blow to the heart. Roslin can’t do a thing but feel for her. She even recommends Signy should go to the forest and visit her swans, which is what she usually attempts to forbid.
It is perhaps for that very reason that Signy is somewhat cheered up by the proposition. That and the fact that she obviously loves the swans. We haven’t yet been revealed just how they fit into all of this, but it is undoubtedly a very important role, so this chapter promises to reveal pivotal characters for the story of Swan Lake.
Roslin also suggests that Signy should change her clothes before venturing out, while she will remain here and wait for her return. Signy doesn’t waste any more time and is eager to begin her preparations for the departure. The tips for the outfit state that we need clothing items with Simple and Cooling traits.
SO, as per usual, first, tap on the search icon in the upper-left part of the screen and check the filters for Simple and Cooling traits, and hit the Search button.
Depending on which items you have, you will end up with a different combination of recommended clothing items. The main thing is to pick the highest overall value for both or either one of those stats, whichever is better. For our Swan Lake walkthrough stage 1-3, we’ve gone with the following:
For the head slot, we have the nice Eternal Moment pin, from the Fateful Night set and we have it at a high 5-star level. It only matches Cooling for our needs but at a fat 530 value. Also, we went with our faithful Warm Sunlight-Pink glasses, which we also leveled to 5 stars currently. They also only match the Cooling trait filter, but at a high 459 value.
And, now for the main clothing item of the entire outfit, the dress or the body slot. We’ve gone with the simple Picnic Girl-Pink tunic, which is awarded to any player that has logged into the game for 7 days consecutively. It only meets the Cooling trait for our search but at an incredibly high 717 value.
Next, for the feet, we went with the Dance Music shoes we got from a Magical Gift. It is only at 3 stars currently and matches our trait needs only for Cooling at a decent 295 value. We’ve also paired the feel up with the Dark Stars socks, also obtained from a magical gift. They also only meet the Cooling criteria, at a nice 254 value, with the current 4-star level.
For the accessories collar slot, we’ve used the Wheel of Time necklace. We have 3 stars on it and it meets our needs for Cooling with a 217 stat value. They are also obtained as a random reward from a magical gift.
For the gloves, we’ve gone with the Final Melody. We have those at a nice 4-star level and they also only meet the Cooling trait requirement for this opportunity. However, they will add a decent 378 at this level to the total score, and they do look cool and fit into our outfit nicely, visually speaking.
Don’t forget to add any pet that can boost either of the two stats required, or both if you possess such a pet. This is the default pet awarded in the Queen Marie storyline you get to rename and it contributes to this outfit with 162 on the Simple stat.
Sadly, we don’t currently possess any relics that may benefit us for either Cooling or Simple stats in any matching items. We have the Bullet of Passion, which will add a fat 38.2% to the Simple stat value of our dress slot item. However, the dress we chose is the Picnic Firl-Pink tunic, which doesn’t have the Simple trait. However, we do recommend you make use of a relic if you possess one that fits these needs.
So, now that everything we have for either Cooling or Simple traits is in place, let’s see how this outfit looks and how we scored:
The total value of this outfit was 2111, just above the requirements for the perfect score for this stage 1-3. As you can see, we’ve gone with the Bullet of Passion anyway, which added +118 just for being present, even though it did not match any traits we had. Now, let’s continue with the story and meet the swans.
After changing into the right outfit, Signy snuck out of the palace, with MS. Rosling covering for her, of course. This feels good for her and she already feels free, as we can see. However, on her way out of the estates, she is met by a Castle Guard. Signy plays it cool and says hi.
She starts a conversation with the castle guard, who asks if she is off to visit her mother again. Signy confirms with a single “Yup”. The guard continues about how the guards are not as free to roam around as the maids, during their shift anyways.
Signy states that it is much more important to keep the palace safe than what she or the maids do, so it is only natural. However, out of the blue, she cunningly gives offers the guard some bread. The hungry guard accepts with great enthusiasm, letting Signy pass without any further hindrance.
We’ve now witnessed that Signy is not as helpless as it might have initially seemed. She seems to have her “pauper girl” act well-practiced. She continues on through the woods lightfooted, finally reaching the place where her “friends” are supposed to be.
She has brought bread for them, which is how she was so ready to “bribe” the guard not to give her too much trouble about leaving. The smell of bread attracts her friends and we are now to get acquainted with them for the first time in this Swan Lake storyline.
Signy firstly addresses Brushtail, saying his teeth have grown, then Big Ears, saying he eats more than Brushtail now. Thirdly, she addresses the Fawn, complimenting on how it has grown. Brushtail, Big Ears, and Fawn are, in fact, a squirrel, a rabbit, and a deer, who seem to be acquainted with Signy rather well.
The swans are finally here and they swim to greet Signy on the bank of the lake. Signy talks to them, asking if they are surprised to see her again so soon. As if they understood, the swans start flapping their wings in an affirmative response. Then the most beautiful of them approaches Signy.
It is a ‘he’ and he is the leader of this swan pack. He is the first friend Signy made here, so the two seem to have a special bond. As the swan approaches, the story takes us to a flashback sequence, which begins with Signy being scared, then relieved that she wasn’t caught up by a black bear.
She did not know where she is back then when she first came here accidentally due to running away from a bear. She was regretting sneaking out of the palace when she discovered a lake and decided to take some water from it.
She drank the water and rested on the bank for a while, staring into the water. She was pondering how convenient it would be if there was a river that would lead her to the castle, for she appears to be lost. Finally, lying there, Signy falls asleep.
While she was napping, something taps her on the shoulder. It was him, the beautiful white swan, the leader of the group. Signy was surprised for it is the first time ever that she has seen a pure white swan. The description we are getting of him truly makes him majestic.
Signy and the swan quickly became friends and he let her stroke his feathers, approving of her actions with a nod even. Signy asked the swan if he will be her friend, to which the swan doesn’t nod but instead splashes some water at Signy.
What is Signy to do, then retaliate with equal measures. She splashes the swan. HE doesn’t even try to avoid the playful gesture. Signy says, in a playful manner, that she gets him and it is alright that the swan doesn’t want to be her friend. She slumps down, to try to mimic her sorrow, to which the swan raises his wings again.
The swan seems to try to point his wings towards his face while looking at Signy, as if trying to signal her something. He then points to the water. Signy looks there and sees her own reflection, realizing her face is covered in mud, which she must have caught on while sleeping.
She then realizes that the swan is kind and intelligent. She washes her face and then remembers that it will be night time soon, while she is still lost. She worries that, if the night will be moonless, she might never find her way back.
But, she is comforted by her new friend. However, it is a fact that her father, the King, and her tutor, Ms. Roslin, will both worry sick if she isn’t home by nightfall. Signy rationalizes by saying that she might be able to find her way back tomorrow when the day breaks. To this, the swan taps her and then flies to the right bank of the lake.
Signy immediately realizes that the swan might again be trying to tell her something, probably about a path. She follows the swan, who leads her through the forest for some time. Finally, just as the Sun is about to set, the swan takes her to the edge of the forest.
Signy is so happy and thankful, that she thinks the swan is actually an angel, sent to rescue her. The swan bobs his head at Sigbny and then flies away back into the forest, to the way through which they came.
Worried that she might seem ungrateful, Signy memorizes the path with the intent of coming back to properly thank her savior. She doesn’t know what swans like to eat though, so she’ll have to ask the “encyclopedic” Ms. Roslin. After all, it was the job of a tutor to educate, among other things.
This flashback sequence has shown us how Signy came to befriend the swans and their leader and how she learned to traverse the unwelcoming forests beyond the palace. She has since gone there regularly, making it her own place of peace. She also befriended other swans, telling them stories, dancing with them, and more.
The main swan has embraced her when Signy told them about her late mother, saying how much she longs for her. This was years ago and, even though Signy grew a bit older, the swans remained the same.
Back from Signy’s flashback sequence to where we left off. Signy has surprised the swans and they trumpet to greet her. She immediately tells them the reason she is here, her coming-of-age ceremony…
Signy says that, after the ceremony, she won’t be a little girl anymore. She is about to become a queen and inherit the entire kingdom. The swans again trumpet and dance, to celebrate the news. They bring joy to her face and Signy thanks them all.
While she does promise to come again, Signy explains that she won’t be able to come as often as she used to, after the ceremony. The leader of the swans comes closer and leaned onto Signy, again seemingly understanding exactly what she said.
Signy continues to elaborate on how she needs to pick the right suitor, accept her responsibilities, and do much more. However, she says that the engagement is something she still hasn’t thought about enough. She hasn’t met the princes yet even. She says all this while the swan soothes her with his wing.
The swan is sad about what he’s hearing from Signy. She immediately regrets transferring such negative emotions onto them, and him. She then attempts to lighten the mood by promising that it is okay and that she will continue to sneak out and visit them, even after she becomes queen.
Signy invites the leader swan to study with her, by making an argument that even though he is not human, he is even smarter. This lightens the swan’s mood as he pats Signy on the head. The night is about to fall, so the swan reminds Signy it is time to leave.
Despite the swan escorting Signy as per usual, like the first time they met, today, she is thinking about how she would like not to return to the castle today and stay in the forest, where she feels truly free. She asks the swan to condone her staying longer…
She says that even Ms. Roslin won’t be mad because she has let her go, knowing the implications. However, having Signy’s best interest at heart, the swan declines and prompts her to go back. Signy struggles a bit, but the swan pushes her out of the forest before the night falls.
After seeing that Signy is on her way, the swan returns. Signy stands on the edge of the forest a bit, as the air becomes colder and the atmosphere grows darker as if an omen of things to come.
Not wasting too much time pondering about why is the Forrest so creepy now, Signy hurries back home. However, before she could get there, she is startled by a scream. Signy starts running, not looking back even once.
She is, however, curious as to what was that scream actually she has heard.
This brings us to the end of our Dress up! Time Princess walkthrough for stages 1-3 of Swan Lake story. We will continue the story with the next stage, so please find it in the navigation panel above.
