swan lake stage 5
Complete Walkthrough
Welcome to our walkthrough for Swan Lake stage 1-5 in Dress up! Time Princess. The last stage ended rather abruptly, with Ferdinand carelessly firing an arrow and wounding Snowy, the leader swan. To make matters worse, the swans all attacked in retaliation and they appear to have some supernatural strength, for they are too much for the band.
Herman called for a retreat and the band scattered, while Signy watched all of this in terror, unable to protect her friend, the swan leader Snowy, but also unable to now save her human friends as well. The group was hunting in the forest because the princes wanted to impress Signy by competing against each other in hunting. Now, they have scattered and in this next chapter, we will see if Snowy will survive.
This stage 1-5 of Swan Lake does not require any special clothing items, companion levels, or resources. The intro text suggests that princess Signy stayed behind to tend to the swan’s wound, while the night is soon to come. Now, we all remember that the head swan, Snowy, insisted that Signy gets home and out of the forest before nightfall. And, when the night came, she heard strange screams from the forest.
It appears that now our fellowship will be facing whatever danger lurks in the dark, while Signy will also stay here after dark with Snowy and the rest of the swans. The stage intro also says that something unexpected will happen, so let’s dive in and see what is in store for us.
As mentioned, this stage 1-5 throws is right in the thick of things. Snowy is wounded, while the band scattered after swans attacked them. As Signy approaches to check upon Snowy, she sees that his wings are stained in blood. It is a horrible sight and Signy naturally blames herself, regretting not being more persistent in convincing the princes not to hunt here.
As she laments on this, she also tells Snowy how sorry she is for leading them here and startling the swans, and hurting him. Despite his injury, Snowy raises one wing and hugs Signy to comfort her. She then gets to tending to his wound.
However, when Snowy moves his wing aside, Signy sees that the wound is more serious than she first thought. We get Signy’s ribbon as a clothing item at this point, as she removes it to use it to bandage the wound.
Signy uses the ribbon to try and bandage the wing and stop the bleeding. However, the ribbon may not be enough to do the job. Signy is thinking about going back home to get some medicine and supplies for Snowy, but she is reluctant to leave him here wounded like this.
At this point, the Sun has already set and dark is slowly covering the forest. We skip some time in the story at this point, and now Signy is still at the lake with the swans, but it is nighttime. Fear is slowly gripping her mind…
At that very moment, something majestic happens as our story slips into the realm of the supernatural for the first time. Something strange is happening with the swan. His wings begin to recede into his body. There really is no other way of describing that. He begins shifting form, morphing, and his eyes begin to glow with a newfound luminance. Signy is stunned and, with a burst of fear, she asks abruptly who is the newly formed figure in front of her…
This is where our choice comes into play. You can choose for Signy to run or to continue bandaging his wound. We will do both choices, the first one first and the second one later.
The Choice where you Run AwayThe Choice where you Run Away
Signy describes the figure as something with an anemic complexion, which is unnerving to her and she can’t help but panic. At that moment, the figure reaches out to her, but she stops him before he can speak and forbids him to come closer.
After crying out, Signy bolts away and out of the forest, completely forgetting that it is nighttime. She is stumbling down unfamiliar paths. The undergrowth jabs at her skin and she finally trips over a tree root and falls down, falling unconscious.
Two Days Later
It was two full days until Ferdinand and the others found Signy lying unconscious in the forest. It appears that Signy has told them about the supernatural occurrence she winesed because they all told her it was a figment of her imagination.
In this scenario, the story ends rather abruptly. Signy marries Prince Ferdinand, the biggest dufus of them all if we might add, and their two kingdoms unite. She never sees Snowy again, never goes to the lake, and lives the rest of her life dull and boring. The moral of the story seems to be that one should always follow his own nature and his own heart, even at the face of unbelievable things.

The Choice where you Stay
Now, let’s get back to the second choice, the only real choice any sane person and adventurer could make. If you see a polite swan, who is your friend, morphing into a person, you stay right and meet him, right? No question about it.
This is what Signy does in the second choice, which is to stay and continue dressing his wound. Now, this choice will cost you an extra 5 stamina.
This is Snowy in his human form! However fascinating this sight is, Signy still tends to his wound first in an instinctive, caring manner. The entire situation looks like something out of a fairy tale to Signy. She’s been friends with the swan for years. She is speechless, but, as though he’s sensing her questions, and obviously so, Snowy speaks first:
Signy finally speaks and starts shooting numerous questions at the formerly swan, now human Snowy. Why is this happening? How can a swan turn into a human? Was he a human all along and was Signy oblivious to this fact, thinking of him as a swan for some reason… She also notices that according to an outfit this now human wears, anyone would assume he is a prince…
Coughing and regaining his breath, Snowy compliments Signy’s observation. Nothing seems to get past her, even in this shocking moment. Yes, Snowy confirms that he was a prince once. SO, why turned into a swan, and to which kingdom is he a prince too, asks Signy next. Snow the swan finally reveals his real name:
His name is Aldous and comes from a kingdom that existed once, long ago, far away. It appears that he has to thank for his swan form to an Owl Sorcerer, who cursed him, turned him into a swan, and then kidnaped him from his home. The sorcerer brought him here and left him in this forest. Other swans are the prince’s servants, who are also cursed and traped here because of him.
Signy can see in his words that Aldous is very sad about his destiny. After all, it must have been very tough to endure all this, and then also to live here in a form of a swan all these years. She remembers now that Snowy always seemed to have a sad look in his eyes and she even teased him by saying he is a swan with a past.
She would never have imagined that she was stumbling onto the truth like this. A few moments later, Aldous’s face gets a natural color and his transformation seems to be complete, the curse seems to be over for him. Signy continues to tend to his wound as he finally reveals the truth:
It would appear that the curse is such that it turns Aldous into a swan during the day and into his natural human form during the night. Signy is baffled as to why something like that would happen to him. She now gets why, as Snowy the swan, he would always prompt her to leave the forest before dusk.
Signy asks about the evil sorcerer, angrily wondering where he is now? Aldous explains that the sorcerer never stays in one place for too long and is hard to track down, but he often visits this very forest, during the night of course. Signy immediately recalls the scream she heard the other night and asks Aldous about it if the sorcerer has something to do with that…
She feels real fear now as chill shivers down her spine. This forest was once a place of warmth and fun for her, but it is clear now that it hides many sinister secrets. She feels obliged to help Aldous and says to him that, since it is a curse there must be a way to break it…
As she vows to find a way to save Aldous from his fate, happiness is back on his face and he is thankful for it. In fact, Aldous says that he knows of a way to break the curse, but it is something quite difficult to achieve. Signy is delighted that there is a way, no matter how hard, and wants to know more about it. This means that the sorcerer must have a weakness and she is even thinking about telling everything to her father and his mages, so they can deal with him.
Aldous dissuades her from that immediately, saying that the sorcerer’s power is far too great for anyone to handle. It would not be easy to defeat him, but they don’t need to in order to break the curse. Aldous hesitates to tell Signy more, as she is eager to hear it.
She now calls him Aldous for the first time and asks if he prefers it over Snowy, to which he replies that they are friends and she can call him anything she wishes. Signy then says that if Aldous considers them friends, he should tell her about how to break the curse.
Signy continues to put some leverage on the prince, mentioning that she knows his biggest secret, the fact that he is a swan by day and a human by night obviously. Aldous says that he doesn’t want to hide anything from her, so he decides to tell her the secret to breaking the curse is:
It is as we’ve all undoubtedly foreseen, breaking the curse requires him to get married to someone. To find true love. Signy is puzzled for a moment. She wasn’t expecting this. With Signy learning about his troubles, Aldous then continues by asking “who would marry a man who turns into a swan during the day?”
Signy immediately replies that she is sure Aldous will find someone who loves him for who he is. In fact, she thinks that breaking this curse is easier than she thought. It appears that this brings hope back to Signy. She asks the cursed prince another question, although it is not the one we all would expect:
Prince Aldous is at a disposition now, speechless and only looking at her. She asks him what is the matter? Why isn’t he eager to get a girl and get back into normal life? Or, she asks if Aldous does not fancy any girl currently? That certainly does make things difficult. However, Aldous slowly comes around to saying what he truly feels. There is someone he fancies. Signy jumps to ask who this girl is… And, Aldous says what we all want him to say:
In the first moment, Signy is confused not getting the message really. She slowly realizes that she is the only one here, in front of him, and slowly gets his meaning. Aldous confirms it, yes, he is talking about her. He admits he is in love with her since the first day they met.
Aldous says that, after being cursed, life had no meaning for him. There was nothing to live for no longer. He could not accept who he was during the day, even if it was a beautiful swan. Signy says that he is indeed a very graceful swan, but Aldous says it is a constant reminder of his curse.
It appears it was Signy who brought hope and sunshine back into Aldous’ life. He feels fortunate enough for this limited human form because at least he can tell her about how he feels. Signy is speechless of course. Lastly, Aldous asks Signy not to be burdened by his love and there is no need for any response.
This love will always be a source of happiness for him, and that is it. She is very heart-warmed by his words. She never knew he, or anyone, had such feelings for her. Love is something she never actually felt or given much thought to before, like marriage. Finally, she comes to an idea:
Aldous is curious about what Signy is suggesting. And, she pops the question, much to everyone’s delight of course…
This time around, it is Aldous who is left speechless. Signy continues to explain that she has no interest in marrying any of the noble princes who came before. However, since she has to find someone for her coming-of-age ceremony, the only person she would want it to be is, Aldous. However, Aldous is not happy to hear it. This is something they shouldn’t even jest about. But, Signy reassures him she is serious.
Finally, she asks Aldous straightforwardly if he will come to her coming-of-age ceremony. He doesn’t reply and instead stays still as the moon in the lake. Both can hear each others’ breathing with the dead silence in the night. Finally, Aldous starts mumbling, struggling to find his voice and words. Finally, he looks Signy in the eyes and says:
Signy says that this is wonderful news! This is where Swan Lake stage 1-5 ends. It seems that both Signy and Aldous have found a solution to both their problems, in each other. However, at this moment, there is a sinister shriek heard in the darkness of the forest. It is a shriek of an owl…
