swan lake stage 9
Complete Walkthrough
Hello and welcome to our Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake stage 1-9 walkthrough. In this guide, we will follow up on the story so far and all of the gameplay aspects that await you, including the outfit needed to pass this stage with as higher a score as possible. We will also cover all branching paths in the story if there are choices to be made.
The story picked up a lot in the previous stage 1-8 and it was a sort of a culmination of the events that preceded. We’ve met many of the important characters in the Swan Lake story, like Roslin, King Edward XII, Chief Minister Arthur (Signy’s uncle), and so on. We’ve also met several prices that have come to ask for Signy’s hand in marriage, like Honore, Ambrose, Ferdinand, Hermann, and Raymond.
Of course, we’ve met Snowy, who is actually prince Aldous, and who has been cursed along with his servants, to live his life as a swan by day and a human by night. The curse is the work of an evil Owl Sorcerer, who we also met in the previous chapter for the first time.
Now, The Owl Sorcerer is actually named Audwin, and he came to the coming of age ceremony, impersonating Aldous. He used his magic to look like him. However, the real Aldous appeared towards the end, but just as Signy agreed to marry Audwin, thinking he is Aldous. Now, this is what makes things rather complicated right now.
When Audwin was finally revealed for who he is, all of the princes and the King threatened him, but he is too powerful. He put the princes to sleep and also threatened to destroy everybody if Signy doesn’t uphold her word. Lastly, Signy bargained for Aldous. She agreed to marry Audwin if he was to let Aldous stay with her, to which Audwin agreed, but there was a twist to the deal.
Right before he left, Audwin, the evil Owl Sorcerer, put another curse on Aldous, one which prevents Signy from ever touching him. For if she does, he will then turn into a swan for good, and no marriage, love, or any other means will free him.
This is where we left off in Stage 1-8 of Swan Lake and we now proceed to 1-9. Stage 1-8 did not have any outfit requirements nor rewards in terms of items or dress recipes, so the next stage is also free of any clothing item requirements. It does however require Goodwill Lv. 4 with Aldous.
To raise Goodwill with Aldous to Lv. 4 (assuming it is at Lv. 3 currently for it was needed for stage 1-6) you won’t need much. Aldous likes gifts with the Collectable and Tool traits. The best gift for that is the Silver Saddle which awards 90 affection points. You craft it with Fabric + Metal mats. Also, don’t forget to first do One-Tap Interactions if you have any attempts left.
Also, the stage will require clothing items with Grand and Perky stats. Swan Lake stage 1-9 hint recommends several items to achieve the best possible outfit score, and we will need perfect to obtain the blueprint for Mesmerizing Winter dress. The hints are in the upper-left corner of the stage description.
A night has passed since the events at Signy’s coming-of-age ceremony. The ball ended around midnight and it was then that Audwin, the Owl Sorcerer, revealed himself and made a terrible deal with Signy. The very next day, yet another unexpected situation awaits our heroes.
It would appear that the princes who competed for Signy’s hand are rather sore losers. Ferdinand is accusing her of breaking her word since she never intended of picking any one of them as her husband. He feels that they’ve all been fooled all along.
Signy tries to reason with Ferdinand but diplomacy fails to soothe his broken, fragile ego. Things are not improved by Signy not remembering Ferdinand’s name and he doesn’t take it lightly either. He feels disrespected and he intends on including all the others in on it as well. After he had his say, he leaves rather dramatically, stomping out of the castle.
Signy is confused at seeing Ferdinand in this stage, as he has never seen him like this. The king is there to comfort her, saying that Ferdinand, from the Kingdom of Glorion, is the last in the line of succession, meaning he is their youngest prince. Thus his reckless personality and acting without thinking. But, the king believes he means no real harm to anyone.
But, the king remembers that Ferdinand congratulated to the couple yesterday and has now shifted his stance dramatically overnight. Something strange might be happening indeed. That Kingdom of Glorion, Signy adds, is the most powerful of all their neighbors.
The king reassures Signy that their kingdom is powerful too, even though they are peaceful. But, they are not afraid of any other kingdom and, as long as their conscience is clear, they stand fast and strong. However, the king adds, what that evil Owl Sorcerer did, tricking Signy and making her promise him her hand in marriage… The king is sorry that Signy is the one paying the price in all this.
The coming-of-age ceremony has officially ended now that all the princes and the noblemen left back to their own kingdoms. However, the ominous air left in the wake of Ferdinand’s display still remains. His behavior was unusual, to say the least. Signy is also worried about her father’s health and doesn’t want him to fret over any of this.
This is why she has decided not to trouble him anymore but to discuss this whole ordeal with her uncle Arthur, the kingdom’s Chief Minister. Before Signy can go to speak to him, she needs to change her clothes and we now arrive at the dress-up time in this stage. As mentioned, Swan Lake stage 1-9 tips suggest Grand and Perky clothes and we will filter our search for those, paying attention to include as many items from the Swan Lake storyline as possible, because that way we will match them and get bonus points. However, oftentimes, we will simply go for the highest value in items, regardless of the set.
For the hat in the head slot, we will go for Dawn Oracle tiara, which we have maxed out at 6 stars. It awards 780 in Grand for our current needs. The item is awarded when you activate the Season 4 fashion booster and also reached a specified member level.
For the hair, we will go for the Maiden’s Song, but we have several similar choices. However, this one matches the outfit aesthetics nicely. We have it at 5 stars and it will contribute with 618 in Grand for our current outfit needs. This item is also obtained from the Season 4 Fashion Booster after you activate it and reach a specified member level.
For the glasses, we will use the Cateye Shades that don’t match this Egyptian-style outfit we’re going for at all, by to hell with it. It is our highest ranking item for this slot, maxed out at 6 stars and contributing us with 676 to Perky. It is obtained randomly from Magical Gifts.
For our dress, we will use Heaven’s Sigh, continuing on the Greek-style outfit. We have it at a maximum 6-star rank and it will contribute to our current outfit with 1456 to Grand. This dress is also obtained when you Activate Season 4 Fashion Booster and reach a specified member level.
For our shoes, we will use the Heavenly Shelter, which fits the Ancient Greece-style theme we’re going for. We have them at a high 5-star rank and they will contribute us with 585 in Grand currently. This item is also obtained from the Season 4 Fashion Booster after you activate it and reach a specified member level.
In the neck slot, we have to step away from the Greek theme. Even though Trendy Rococo doesn’t fit our overall outfit theme, it is the highest-ranking item we have for this slot. We have it maxed out at 6 stars and it will contribute to our current outfit with 660 in Grand. This item is awarded randomly from Magical Gifts.
For the earrings, we will use the Light of Apollo, again goin’ for the Greek-style theme. They are at a high 4-star rank and will add 330 in Grand for our score. This item is also obtained from the Season 4 Fashion Booster after you activate it and reach a specified member level.
Benefiting from our fashion booster all the way, we use Lost Prophecy for the bracer slot. It is also from the same style as most of our items, and it is at 4 stars granting us 412 in Grand. As with all these Greek-style items before, This item is also obtained from the Season 4 Fashion Booster, after you activate it and reach a specified member level.
We will use our highest-ranked ring with the highest value in the stats we need. This is currently Prayer of Love, which is at 5 stars and will give us 423 in Grand. It is obtained randomly from Magical Gifts.
In our hands, we will have the Ancient Legend scepter, also from the Ancient Greek style clothing set we have. It is maxed out at 6 stars and will award us with a huge 825 boost to Grand. As with all these Greek-style items before, This item is also obtained from the Season 4 Fashion Booster, after you activate it and reach a specified member level.
We will use any cat that can contribute even a little bit to our current outfit score needs. We only have this one with 92 to Charming, but better than nothing.
Lastly, we will use the Dream Fantasia relic, which we have at Lv. 15 and at Lv. 2 for its ability. It will add 3.9% to our Grand items in all slots, which is huge at this point. This is all we have and we will hit ready and see how we did.
We changed a few items around and crafted some from the Swan Lake stage 1-9 hint in order to make it through, but we still need a much higher score to get the perfect result, which is mandatory to get the blueprint reward for the dress we have to have for later stages. We continue for now as Signy arrives at Chief Minister’s chambers.
It would appear Signy arrived during lunch hours, but Arthur is not concerned with it and doesn’t mind at all. He is glad that her highness approached him, no matter the time or occasion. Arthur tries to guess the purpose of Signy’s arrival.
He asks if her coming to him means she is ready to assume responsibility as heir to the throne. IF so, her father, the King, will be pleased. However, Signy immediately begs her uncle not to tell her father, before even explaining the matter.
Signy is concerned for her father’s wellbeing for he doesn’t look well at all in recent days and he doesn’t need additional stress. Signy wants to do all she can to take the stress off his shoulders. Uncle Arthur is pleased with this and he compliments Signy on how well and fast she’s grown up, although he apologizes for it is not his place to say such things.
Signy thanks him never the less and her uncle then asks about the real reason she is here to speak to him. Signy states that the princes and the nobles have left the castle this morning. However, one of the princes, Ferdinand, has left displeased and he lost his temper.
Chief Minister’s first impression is to disregard Ferdinand’s rage and attribute it to his youthful exuberance. Arthur thinks that they’ve been a good and fair host to all of them and that, apart from the sorcerer disruption, everything went well. They’ve already sent letters of apologies to all the kingdoms.
Since it wasn’t their responsibility, this incident with the Owl Sorcerer won’t affect any of the diplomatic relations and ties with the kingdoms. Signy understands this but is still concerned about Ferdinand’s rage. It was too strange to ignore. It is as if someone had tricked him, Signy thinks.
It would appear that, during their stay at the castle, the princes and the noblemen guests were free to go anywhere they wished and they were not kept under control. So, Arthur can’t give many details as to what they did or who they talked to while they waited for the ceremony.
However, Arthur is interested in taking a look at Ferdinand never the less. Perhaps the kingdom of Glorion had other motives when they sent him here than the ones apparent to all. Signy agrees. She thinks they should be prepared for anything, just in case.
Arthur reassures Signy there is no cause for alarm but reminds her that there are more pressing matters at hand. She, of course, knows it is about the sorcerer and hear deal with him. She didn’t expect things to turn out the way they did. She was only trying to help her friend.
However, she failed to free Aldous of his curse and now the entire kingdom is in crisis. Signy can’t help but feel guilty, but the Chief Minister says it is not her fault. There is nothing wrong with being kind, as he tells her.
Arthur wants to find a way and deal with the Owl Sorcerer. Its been years since the kingdom had such a powerful sorcerer as an enemy. Signy says she remembers meeting an elderly mage during one of her father’s birthday banquets.
Arthur asks about the mage in question and, if it is the one living east of the castle, his powers are, according to Arthur, not a match for the ones the Owl Sorcerer displayed last night. That elderly mage suffered heavy injuries during the last war.
Nevertheless, he is determined to find a way to deal with this evil threat and he will summon all the court ministers so they can find a way. Signy agrees that this is the best course of action for now. However, she also adds that they should pretend to make preparations for the wedding all the while, just to keep pretenses, just in case.
Arthur agrees and thinks this is a wise idea. He offers to handle all the necessary preparations. After a short while, Signy returns to her chambers, where Ms. Roslin is waiting for her. She is shaken up and sad from last night, and can’t help but express her concerns to Signy.
Roslin is talking to Aldous and is still bewildered for him turning from a swan into a human. Aldous apologizes for startling her. Signy is there to ease the tension, saying that Roslin is far too easily startled. However, Roslin adds that she is just shocked by that evil sorcerer and the fact that he would put such an evil curse on a prince.
Ms. Roslin then points out that the prince is a grown man and just as she is about to go deeper into their privacy, Signy interrupts her. She asks her to go and fetch some herbal tea and bring it to her father, the king. She agrees immediately.
Signy asks for her to make sure her father finishes the team. Ms. Roslin doesn’t take too kindly that Signy wants her to go away so obviously, but just as she is about to scorn her for it, Signy shoves her out of her room.
She wanted her and Aldous to have a few moments alone. Aldous thanks her for letting him stay with her. He is also sorry for creating all this trouble for her and her kingdom. Signy comforts him, saying that they are both victims. She was the one who mistook the sorcerer for him, so carelessly.
Signy says that Audwin’s manners were completely different from Aldous’s and that she has noticed it. He couldn’t hide his arrogance even while having Aldous’ likeness. She had a but feeling she ignored, and that had cost her dearly.
Aldous comforts her now, saying that they were manipulated. The sorcerer looked exactly like him and even he couldn’t tell the difference. After Audwin injured him and took the ribbon, Aldous knew he was going for Signy. He wants to take away everything that Aldous has.
Signy cannot control her anger anymore. But, just as she is about to curse Audwin, she hears a sound. Aldous says it is coming from a crow and then comes closer to her. He whispers that it might be Audwin’s spy. He is well-versed in creating such creatures to do his bidding.
Signy says that as long as they speak softly, the crow shouldn’t hear them outside of the window. Aldous agrees and adds that the powers of magical creatures are limited and the Owl Sorcerer should be weakened for now. Signy wants to know more about it… She wants to know everything Aldous knows about the sorcerer, in order to maybe find any clue for anything they can use against him.
It would appear that the only weakness Aldous knows about is that casting spells drains the sorcerer’s powers. When drained, it might be the only time the Owl Sorcerer is somewhat of a lesser threat than usual. Signy listened carefully…
Signy thinks this may be their chance but Aldous warns that this is too dangerous. Signy wants to use this, what may be their only chance, to perhaps try and talk to Audwin the Owl Sorcerer. She even offers to threaten him or anything that would perhaps expose a weakness.
Aldous seems to know him better than the rest of them and he thinks going after Audwin will only provoke him further. However, Signy is poised to try something, anything. Her kingdom is in danger and she can’t ignore that. She doesn’t want to let that evil man hurt anyone else. She asks if Aldous sees things as she does, as they are?
Signy might know of a way to track the Owl Sorcerer. He did leave something behind. Aldous is curious about what she means. The crow? “That’s right,” says Signy. The crow is a pest, but it may be their only way to reach Audwin. She is certain he will send it to spy on them again and she has an intricate plan.
She intends to get fluorescent powder on the crow and then follow it after it comes to spy on them again tomorrow. She thinks that, if she goes to report to Audwin, she will lead them to him. Aldous is delighted at this brilliant idea and offers to go with her. However, Signy disagrees…
She doesn’t want to involve anyone else in it. Aldous asks her to at least let him go with her, but she says he can’t. This is where we get to branching paths in the story as we are presented with a choice of the reason we are to give Aldous for not letting him come with us. We will do both and include both on this same page. Please find them below.
Worry about his safetyThe Worry about his safety choice
When you choose the first option and give Aldous the reason he can’t come because Signy worries about his safety, our Goodwill standing with him increases. Signy then makes an argument that he is still weak from his injuries.
She explains that it is simply too dangerous for him to go for multiple reasons. She wants Aldous to stay here and wait for her tomorrow. Perhaps she will return with good news, but Aldous is afraid for her. He says that he is, however, not afraid of any danger. He insists on coming…
Aldous insists on coming and protecting Signy, even if it means his life. But, Signy doesn’t want anyone to give their life up for her, as she tells him. She then asks for Aldous to promise her he will cherish his own life and they must both live on. Aldous can’t help but promise…
He asks Signy to give him more time so that he can think of a better way perhaps. Signy agrees. This is the end of the stage. We will now go over the second choice.
Back to Previous ChoiceThe “He will be a burden” choice
This other choice now costs us an extra 5 stamina and when we take it up, Signy similarly makes a note of Aldous’s injuries and says that he can’t possibly go with her like this.
She tells Aldous the ugly truth, that he would only be a burden and hold her back if she had to deal with the sorcerer and worry about him at the same time. Aldous apologizes, saying he didn’t mean to be a burden. He is bitter….
Signy feels she was a bit too harsh to him but she just wants to find a solution for their problems. Aldous tells her that he can’t let her head towards danger alone. He blames himself for everything and is determined not to let her get hurt, even if it costs him his life.
He asks Signy to give him more time so that he can think of a better way perhaps. Signy agrees. This is the end of the stage. We will now go over the second choice. This is the end of the Swan Lake stage 1-9. Dress up! Time Princess walkthrough continues in the next stage.
